My Villa mate and season ticket holder, is convinced Lolley will sign in the Summer. Obvious rumour as he's a Villa fan but if he goes, how much could we expect? £20m in todays market? More importantly, who do we replace him with? 😐.

1.) 13 Apr 2019 13:41:11
Osborn Scouce. The perfect replacement for anyone in any position.

2.) 13 Apr 2019 16:51:15
We'll probably replace him with a "Joker"!!!

3.) 13 Apr 2019 18:30:19
That will be Cummings then🀣

4.) 13 Apr 2019 20:32:19
Cummings will be Goings LC.

5.) 14 Apr 2019 07:58:59
If we had any backbone we would refuse to sell him.

6.) 15 Apr 2019 11:46:52
Villa will not want Lolley in the Premiership he is not good enough!

7.) 16 Apr 2019 06:59:35
I think Villa will choke in the play offs, just a feeling.

12 Jan 2019 23:28:12
Down to 9th, still only 4 points off top 6. Next fixtures, Bristol City, Wigan and Brentford at home before WBA away. That performance has moved the goal posts somewhat. Our back four will take some picking too. Are we realistically going to have a new manager in by next Sat?

Some have rumoured the club had no one lined up, a tad careless? General consensus is ex-Fulham manager. He's currently being paid PL wages and after watching today, may stay at home collecting said wages. I full of doom and gloom at our short term prospects. Certain fans casually claiming, once we get the new man in, we can clear AK's dross and get back up the league.

That's assuming they're AK's choices, that's assuming we can afford to replace them in a shrinking window, that's assuming the new manager gets appointed soon and succeeds where so many have failed before him. Never assume, it makes an ASS out of U and ME. I regrettably predict a bottom half finish for Forest, 14th seems about right. £10 of my money, for every place higher we finish, to the charity of FF79 and Skeggies choice. Their wisdom knows no bounds. 😐 FTID.

1.) 12 Jan 2019 23:52:05
Better get some extra shifts in then scouse.

2.) 13 Jan 2019 07:25:30
AK should of stayed on for the reading game then resigned, if I decided to leave my job I would have to work a full week why should football managers be any different. Were a shambles yet again

3.) 13 Jan 2019 08:32:30
Don't mind if I have to FF.πŸ‘

4.) 13 Jan 2019 08:35:40
Scouse that's a lot of assuming mate and 14th is a improvement on last season and a one place improvement on where I thought krankie would take us 15th so all in all its all good πŸ˜†

5.) 13 Jan 2019 09:52:32
Oh you are awful Skeggie but I like you.πŸ˜πŸ‘

03 Dec 2018 21:36:18
I'm going to say it, not to upset the romantics amongst you but I truly believe it's for the best. Please play well Forest but lose to Chelsea, then get back to your proper jobs of getting us promoted. Eyes on the prize you reds. πŸ‘€.

1.) 04 Dec 2018 02:04:30
I agree. But a score draw and a game replay at city ground could turn out to be a win for us. i reckon its a blessing too as we can play premier league opposition soon already haha

I'm going for 2-2

2.) 04 Dec 2018 08:21:29
Nah, go out there and smash them 5 - 0 then lose to burton in the next round. Do it the forest way.

3.) 04 Dec 2018 16:48:38
5-1 last year, hope it will be closer this year, it's a good test for us.

28 Nov 2018 17:49:21
I've convinced myself Villa's midfield is thread bare and we will boss the game. No mistakes, clean sheet and a 1-0 or preferably 2-0 victory. Fancy one of our full backs to score too. I had a dream. COYR

1.) 28 Nov 2018 20:04:28
Clean sheet, lol.πŸ˜–

2.) 28 Nov 2018 21:29:15
Currently 5-5 so don't think I'll ever take a tip from you SDR.

3.) 28 Nov 2018 21:41:21
5-5. Brilliant entertainment

4.) 29 Nov 2018 22:58:25
Agreed Trev, luckily Lolley saved my blushes.πŸ‘

04 Aug 2018 21:27:52
Accepting our poor record away to B. City in recent reasons, I'll begrudgingly accept an away point. They're likely to be one of the teams challenging us for a top 6 spot, after all. If we draw away and beat those teams at home, we'll be doing ok. WBA will present a different challenge, especially after losing to Bolton. I hope AK has Forest ready from 'minute one' on Tues and the fans are rewarded with 3 points and a performance. FTID.

1.) 04 Aug 2018 22:38:06
And this is a rumour??

2.) 05 Aug 2018 08:17:30
Spot on scouse my sentiments exactly when we play wba we will see how far we have progressed

3.) 05 Aug 2018 09:04:35
If that's the 'Red Dog' off the bird site, still missing pretty boy Lansbury?😁 As for that post being a rumour, our Ed's are busy boys.πŸ‘

Sabril Lamouchi interview with John Percy, Telegraph. Worth a read, his personal set back appears to be a driving force. Fingers crossed he and Forest continue to impress. πŸ‘.

31 Aug 2019 18:17:14
6 games played, too early to judge/ guess our likely finishing position. Looking at the fixtures, I'm pleased with our results so far. Leeds, Charlton and Preston all outplayed us but SL changed things and we came from behind to snatch draws. A welcome sign of things to come. FTID.

1.) 31 Aug 2019 18:29:00
All we after do his give this bloke a couple of seasons try to keep our best players together get rid of the crap and next season we will be up there if it happens this season a bonus but in not counting on it good point today we'll done πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘πŸ˜.

2.) 31 Aug 2019 19:22:12
Preston didn’t out play us they stifled us for the most part and we have to work our how to beat teams like this, I dislike them more than any other championship team. To be fair to Alex Neil he’s an example of what folk mean when they talk about managers who know the championship. It’s up to managers like ours to prove that managers like Neil can be beaten with flair and football. We didn’t prove it today if we’re honest and we probably didn’t show much progress since last season against this type of team - if we’re honest. That said i still think we are moving in the right direction .

3.) 31 Aug 2019 19:33:06
Lamouchi has already said he got it wrong on the day, at least he admitted it and did something about it during the game.
Got to be honest he's doing a good job with the fixtures we faced plus no understanding of the league.
Hope we stick and don't twist yet again.

4.) 31 Aug 2019 19:35:54
2 star we completely out played them second half last season it would of been 90 minutes like the first half.

5.) 31 Aug 2019 19:37:51
Outplayed is a sweeping generalisation 2 star. In the Championship, if the other team stops you playing, then they've 'outplayed' you. They were 1-0 up, we hadn't a shot on target and Lolley well marked, Neil had done his homework. Leeds and Charlton went for the jugular, we stayed in those games and managed to grab a point. SL's changes, in all three games, had an effect. For different reasons, I agree but the opposing manager's game plan was better than ours. SL adjusted his to get a positive result, so far so good. πŸ‘.

6.) 31 Aug 2019 19:50:04
Heres what happened we didn't have a single shot on target till we scored.
Preston had three in the first half and only samba saved us from going a goal down, they were the better side first half by miles and could have added.
Sow came on second half changed the game, but just like last week when we were under the cosh at Fulham and a goal up, Preston stood resolute and fought for every ball and time wasted.
It was a point gained and one we wouldn't have fought back from last season.

7.) 31 Aug 2019 20:21:17
Think you're right ff.
Would have lost that least season.

8.) 31 Aug 2019 20:23:01
I agree 0-1 was definitely on the cards wasn’t it.

9.) 31 Aug 2019 21:55:40
Wow Skeg! Welcome to the Forest party. We'll make a Happy Clapper out of you yet? πŸ‘πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£.

21 Aug 2019 21:28:13
Awful ref btw, leg breaker that tackle on Ameobi. 😐.

1.) 21 Aug 2019 21:55:45
No idea how he hasn’t seen it, we had a lot of bad decision go against us last year an by the time we play with var I bet it will against us an we will be the ones that start to make bad tackles an dive an handball.

2.) 21 Aug 2019 22:34:14
Red card and penalty. Makes it worse the ref was 5 yards away.

21 Aug 2019 20:14:04
Blimey, football lesson so far. πŸ™ˆ.

19 Aug 2019 14:15:41
Matty Cash, longest (current) serving player. Who'd have thought. πŸ˜–.

1.) 19 Aug 2019 17:23:22
Joe Worrall and Jordan Smith both debuted in the same season, but I'm presuming Matty Cash debuted first?

Cup games probably. If no injury crisis, expect him to go on loan in Jan.

Gayle would fetch between Β£15-Β£20 Imo. Β£7m quoted as available, is only speculation. Unless Carvs goes to Olympiacos or the owners 'do a Derby', we don't have that kind of money to spend. PL loan striker our best bet.

Walker loan to Lincoln? Leaving 2 strikers? We must have plans for at least 1 incoming, too late for Sat probably. Risky business.

It was the Sea Devils, 1972 (aged 5) gave me the proper heebie geebies. Probably didn't help when your Dad was hiding and making scary noises. Feel sorry for my daughter now, like father like son. πŸ˜‡.
