Just a few points to add to the excellent ones already posted on here.
Firstly, we are mathematically safe from relegation with 10 games to go.
Secondly, we have now beaten every current and previous Premiership teams at least once since our promotion.
Thirdly, I've already commented on Nunos tactical brilliance in a previous post but I'd add that, in all honesty, the first half was drab, a proper arm wrestle in midfield with City dominating but ( as in the game overall) having little to do. City were stifled. Second half, you could sense they were tiring, getting frustrated and we were gaining the upper hand. Dominquez was unlucky and then CHO even more so with Edersons miracle save onto the post. When the goal came, it was only what we deserved.
Fourthly, just how can you praise MGWs 40 yard pass, delivered at the right speed and height to bypass a world class defender standing only 10 yards off CHO, enough? Also that it landed right at his feet? CHO didn't even have to break stride. Instant control then pace and skill to get into the penalty area. If there's a competition for pass of the season this would be it I think.
Lastly, when there was a substitution around about the hour mark, it struck me that it epitomised all that wrong about the Premiership. They bought on Marmoosh ( £59 million ) and De Bruyne ( £55million). We brought on Yatesy ( exactly nowt! ). Plus they didn't even use Jack Grealish (£100 million). Level playing field? Having a laugh, I think!
Whilst we are on transfer fees, everyone rightly is awestruck by Murillo (£12 million) but what about Malenkovic? ( (also £12million). What a signing, best centre back in the League imo. By the way, in , the Police have called off the search for Erling Harland. He was found safe and well in Malenkovic's back pocket.

I read your article Stokey with a big smile on my face. Spot on as usual. A while ago I listened to Ian Holloway eulogising over Nuno as a tactician, he thought he was one of the best tactical coaches in the premiership. He is also obviously very well liked and respected by the players, that is a very rare mix of talents.

I like Holloway, the original shaved headed coach. Liked the way he goes to Swindon and takes the pressure of the players and general doon around the club, by saying its all the fault of the training ground being haunted ?.

Ian Holloway, what a legend and a genuinely good coach. Some of his comments are laugh out loud funny. My favourites are……

Footballs like making love to a mermaid. Ideally, you want a top half finish….

It’s a good fit, Blackpool and me. We both look better in the dark.

( On lower league management) Obviously we are not in the Rolls Royce showroom, more like Jalopy Corner. But, with a bit of polishing, some of the players look alright.

(On players getting booked for taking their shirts off during goal celebrations). Well the ladies love it don’t they, to see a young man showing his physique off? Not my lot, obviously, they’re all as ugly as sin!

I’d love to go to one of his after dinner talks ??.
