Considerable report in the Guardian today that Pearson going to Aston villa. Already chosen Powell as assistant, and several members on the Board already well in favour, including Bevington.
I'd rule him out for Forest.

Pearson is exactly the type of manager we need to be getting, hence we won't be getting him! Looking like 3 big teams coming down from the PL next season and he would have his pick of any of those, hard to blame him really, we are a right mess at the moment.

Pearson coming to us was never going to happen. Like I keep saying we will not attract a better manager than we had in DF. Our options are reduced every time the buffoon sacks another scapegoat. The root of the problem is Fawaz and while we have him we will continue the downward spiral to league one. If it takes us getting relegated for him to sell up I would take that. Drastic I know, but at least there would be the kind of shake up that's needed.
