Wolves to make Lamouchi their number one target to replace Nuno if he leaves them. Forest need to support him in Jan.

1.) 01 Dec 2019 20:06:09
Wouldn't worry about wolves Watford are on the look out now best get him signed up.

2.) 01 Dec 2019 21:30:14
Agree skeggs but he needs to take advice from red fred or he won't be a top manager🤔🤔🤔.

3.) 01 Dec 2019 22:27:16
Lol 79 lamouchi needs advice off no one just time to do is job and a great one he's doing so far.

29 Jul 2019 09:55:41
Do we need Ben Gibson or Scott McKenna? We already have 5 solid CBs at this level. Surely the money being touted for McKenna would be better spent on a striker and pacey winger.

1.) 29 Jul 2019 11:26:46
In a word NO.
But our dof has got a thing about midfielders and defenders.
With Watson as the holding midfielder and relying on grabban as the only striker I'm afraid I fear for us this season.

2.) 29 Jul 2019 13:33:18
We need a left footed centreback. The system we have means our centre backs will be put under pressure. With a right footer on the left side it can cause mistakes. I also think 1 or 2 will be leaving.

3.) 29 Jul 2019 14:01:31
Our defence was woefully exposed in the second half by Real S. Couldn't get near the ball.
I think 2 or 3 of our center backs will be sold before the end of the window.

4.) 29 Jul 2019 14:02:35
Redtree we have one he's called Robinson.

5.) 29 Jul 2019 18:13:42
I think woefully exposed is a bit strong. I thought they did well against a very technical team.

26 Jul 2019 09:29:43
Forest accepted the Osborn deal after some of the add-ons in the initial offer were amended. Presumably Sheff Utd agreed to a higher sell on fee percentage.

1.) 26 Jul 2019 09:51:41
Is that you LC?

2.) 26 Jul 2019 10:27:32
Why would that make the difference? Seems very strange. A higher bid being accepted would be understandable. Something else must have led to them accepting what is basically the same bid?!

3.) 26 Jul 2019 10:46:20
Of course add-ons make a difference.

May be that we get extra fees for the amount of games he plays next season, whether they stay up or not, or could just be an extra few percent on the sell-on fee.

Either way, it is an improved offer and not the same bid.

4.) 26 Jul 2019 11:08:48
"Not significantly raised their valuation of the player" so barely any improvement.

5.) 26 Jul 2019 11:33:05
A bit like Ben then TWF. Barely any improvement.

6.) 26 Jul 2019 12:25:23
Got mucked about by being played out of position at left back. Be interesting to see where Chris Wilder plays him. Or how Forest fare without him.

7.) 26 Jul 2019 13:10:01
Wilder likes players who are able to play in different positions. That's why he's signed Osborn.

8.) 26 Jul 2019 13:32:17
"more money up front and an improvement to potential future sell-on clauses"

So clearly an improvement.

9.) 26 Jul 2019 13:49:34
Judging by Wilders interview of Osborn, he will be used all over the pitch, very much like at forest.

10.) 26 Jul 2019 13:51:46
Undislosed amount on the Osborne sale so all the amounts being shouted about are pure speculation but if the local rag is to believed we turned down 3m but more likely to be arounf 3.5m to 4m but even they don't know definitely or ever will. But if that is correct then not a bad price for someone with 11 months left on his contract. Good luck to him for wanting to play in the Premiership.

11.) 26 Jul 2019 22:42:35
Company accounts will have to show it if it's of major interest, but the lad was going nowhere at forest and to be honest don't think he'll ever be a prem player.
Sheff utd are doing the right thing in getting proven championship players together for their season in the prem knowing full well if it ends in failure they have a squad capable of going straight back up.
Burnley did this and it brings stability to a club financially.

12.) 27 Jul 2019 15:11:26
Who cares? The money received is only as good as the new player coming in!

If it's Bostock then we will have a stronger line-up with him than lightweight Benny O.

People have very short memories. It was under the Breadman that our featherweight midfield of Osborn, Vaughan and McKay kept getting steamrollered.

These days you have be exceptionally gifted and quick of feet and mind to compete if you are small which is where Benny falls short!

13.) 27 Jul 2019 22:24:13
When was the last time you saw bostock play?
Your talking something similar 😁🤣🤣🤣.

23 Jul 2019 11:28:37
Shelf Utd have made an improved offer of 5m for Osborn. Surely now we sell. he's in the last year of his contract. A good lump of money to go towards a new striker.

1.) 23 Jul 2019 11:34:17
£5million would be good business. I really can't see Osborn being anything more than a squad player if he stays put.

2.) 23 Jul 2019 11:54:39
If he goes, he gets my thanks for his efforts in the Garibaldi. Best wishes and hope we play the blunts in the PL next season. 👏.

3.) 23 Jul 2019 12:13:54
Best of luck to him, can’t deny him the chance to play in the PL and £5million is good business with only 12 months left on his contract. Just hope we spend it on another striker.

4.) 23 Jul 2019 13:08:10
Yes need a new striker even two. Sad to see a home grown player leave as we have so many times in the past!

5.) 23 Jul 2019 13:30:13
Taylor has just tweeted that the deal could be concluded within 24 hours.

01 Jul 2019 20:04:54
Colback had reportedly been released from his contract with Newcastle and Forest are set to sign him.

1.) 01 Jul 2019 20:54:01
No he hasn't.

2.) 01 Jul 2019 20:56:55
I'd be happy with that.

3.) 01 Jul 2019 22:38:24
Has he or has he not? That is the question.

4.) 02 Jul 2019 23:33:59
Colback Boom oo Yata Ta Ta

"Will you meet us in August or will you be gone?
If not we will not love you the same from now on"

Look at me when I'm talking to you it's time to make up your mind!

Well done lads, great team performance, everyone gave an 8/ 10. Now please don't go dropping Mighten CH to give your mate, Knochaert game time. Playing Grabban behind Taylor instead of Cafu makes perfect sense, I'd like to see him stick with that. McKenna and Worrall were fantastic.

16 Jan 2021 15:54:52
I like the look of this team, and credit where it's due to CH the players look comfortable in the system. One thing missing so badly in the final third though and needs addressing this month. Creativity! Someone who can see and pick out a quick pass. Cafu is dreadful.

1.) 16 Jan 2021 17:06:03
Drop Cafu for Taylor. Grabban in behind Taylor in the number 10 role. Sow starts with Yates.

02 Jan 2021 09:07:37
Just a quick word on Matty Cash, what a player he's becoming. Stepped up a few more levels since leaving the reds. Same old Forest, we got robbed at 15m. Wouldn't be surprised to see some BIG teams sniffing around him for over 50m if he continues his development. I think Worrall will be watching him and will have made his mind up.

1.) 02 Jan 2021 10:22:19
He looks twice as fit to me,

2.) 02 Jan 2021 10:27:01
Cash doing absolutely brilliant worrals mind already made up would you want to stay in that defence and team maranakis out.

3.) 02 Jan 2021 11:06:01
Cash drove us forward last year and he also made lolley look better. But whether cash instigated the move he was the consumate professional throughout. Unlike some i could mention.
As for worrall? He still has a lot to prove befire big money changes hands on that one. The other academy diamond, yates, i think would make a better centrehalf, he is no midfield dinamo.

4.) 02 Jan 2021 13:23:27
Cash is a Pep player. You heard it here first.

29 Dec 2020 21:27:44
This is what its come to reds, relying on the opposition to put the ball in their own net. Just shocking.

1.) 29 Dec 2020 21:38:55
He should be called decafu he's hardly going to keep you awake. Useless.

29 Dec 2020 20:56:19
Half time analysis

Defense all over the place when under pressure. Ribeiro though putting in another great shift down the wing.

Midfield might aswell not be there. Yates is not a footballer, he is a midfielder who cannot pass the ball. Cafu is not a number 10, he is totally ineffective. Knockhaert is so overrated its unbelievable. When he does put a decent ball in there is no movement in the box at all. Sow trying his best to get things moving. Ameobi has given up. As for Grabban I can only assume he had a few quid on Stoke scoring from a corner.

They are walking around the pitch, no one but Ribeiro busting a gut as usual.

What does CH do on the training pitch. CH should be sacked straight after this game. he's a shocking manager. He is undefendable. He is a poor excuse for a manager in modern football.

We are heading for league 1 without doubt. Maybe it's what we need for a rebuild to begin.

1.) 29 Dec 2020 21:08:28
Yates gives 100% Gazza and to some on this board that's good enough lol.
100% dross doesn't add up to much though.

2.) 29 Dec 2020 21:10:32
Yup join pullis.

If I was picking the team I'd have Geurrero starting every game in the number 10 role. He holds the ball up well. Missed a few chances but at least he was there. Never been given a real chance.

We're really trimmings the squad down. Great to help the rest of the players to focus on one goal. Forest doing business properly.

Agreed Ff79 - it seems he's had his best days already, we got him too late.

Agree Redman. But like Ameobi, one good game in every 10 isn't good enough. Let's hope today kickstarts some sort of consistency from them both. I just hope CH doesn't drop Mighten for Knochhaert.

Sometimes think you watch a different game to everyone else FF79. Sow was fantastic today, without his physically Millwall could have got on top of us. I believe he only made 2 fouls all game, not bad for a clumsy bloke.
