Forest are after Brazilian left-back, Carlos Augusto, from Monza in Serie A.

After seeing Inter Milan move ahead of us in the race for his signature, good old Mr M has decided to buy AC Monza instead! That might just put us in pole position to bring him in lol

6 goals and a a few assits from LB at Monza last season. Seems impressive.

To be fair, Nico is primarily a RWB who can cover LWB. You could argue for that reason we only need 2 specialist LWBs. Cooper obviously must think Toff is not good enough yet or he wouldn't have wanted to loan him out.

If we sign Lodi and Monza, that tells me that Richards injury is extremely bad and they don't know that they can rely on him being fit (or staying fit) next season.

I'm presuming Carlos would be an alternative to Lodi, don't think they would sign both.

Would we want to go into the new season with just Toffolo and Richards at left-back? Toffolo looks decent enough but Richards we know nothing about other than his terrible injury.

I think we probably need to bring in an established top level left-back, be that Lodi or Carlos.

I'll be honest, I think if Lodi was going to sign for us we'd know. He wants Champions League footy next season. Agree with you Wonky, we need one top level LWB.

I've seen us linked with that Luke Thomas from Leicester. Not very experienced but has looked promising when I've seen him play.

Ashley Young is also available on a free. I know, not a long term solution, but short term could be a great squad member with loads of experience.
