If Sels is out for any length of time it will be interesting to see Gunn and Ortega fighting for chances to be between the sticks!
Seems there are no more incomings so I don't know what that will do to our choices for the European games with Zinchenko and Luiz out, plus of course Sels' injury.

So we have 4 senior keepers now then. I'm guessing either Victor John (or is it John Voctor? ) or Sels are out for the rest of the season?

2.) 03 Feb 2026 19:20:35
Victor out for the season, sels got a groin/ back problem.

23 Jan 2026 18:07:49
Looks like Zinfandel and Louise on their way out. Expect John Victor McAtee and Savona to follow soon?

bsered

1.) 23 Jan 2026 20:44:12
I’d keep Savona as back up centre back and get rid of Morato. Savona isn’t a full back to be fair to him.

2.) 23 Jan 2026 21:50:12
You been reading my posts besered?
Ziindfandel and Louise? ???
Your phones worse than mine ???.

3.) 24 Jan 2026 17:05:22
On the wine are we, bsred? I'm quite partial to a glass of Zinfandel. Goes very well with a joint. Ndioye and Bakwa should be gone aswell.

24 Jul 2025 11:13:48
O'Brien to Wrexham?

bsered

1.) 24 Jul 2025 13:34:42
Wrexham are definitely giving it a good go just brought Windass, Championship may not be so straight forward this year?.

2.) 24 Jul 2025 14:30:40
If we can get our money back on him then happy days.

3.) 25 Jul 2025 10:28:12
O, brien was better than Danilo but the big man orderd Copper and Nuno not to play him, had a raw deal here and the treatment he received could destroy some characters.
Swansea relegation bound when they signed him, finished half way up.
Players should be treated on merit.

4.) 25 Jul 2025 11:30:24
Was it Carlo who said O'Brian had a bust up with either the boss or another player? No idea what happened, but that might explain why he didn't get the chances he wanted?

5.) 25 Jul 2025 11:31:25
Oh, I didn't notice it was you Carlo, who just posted that. My memory might be breaking down. Could be someone else who said that?

6.) 25 Jul 2025 13:12:17
Obrien had a very poor game against fester away and Cooper dropped him after starting him in games previously
He's a good championship player and not good enough for the premier, just like our joe worrall
Nuno had a look at him preseason last year but decided the same
Not one premier club has shown an interest in him so what a load of nonsense to suggest marinakis told the coach he wasn't allowed to play
I bet you where born with spoon in your hand.

7.) 25 Jul 2025 17:37:10
He wasn't the only one.
They were all crap that night and Kouyate was worse than O'brien.

8.) 25 Jul 2025 19:07:27
I agree fred.

9.) 25 Jul 2025 19:32:32
That was probably me in the guise of carlo, Cyclist.

10.) 25 Jul 2025 23:46:15
Carlo I bet you didn't argue with the way cloghue treated asa Hartford ramondo ponte, gary megson and Bryn gunn plus many others back in the day?
Yet you despise our owner now?
An owner that's reinvented success for our club
You talk about fairness and want the impossible from that, cus those players aren't actually good enough
Obrien had his chance to play premier with us he'll never get that chance again because he's not good enough at the end of the day.

09 Jul 2025 16:07:26
Sosa gone. Still need a clear out.

bsered

1.) 09 Jul 2025 16:43:32
Turner, Miguel, Morato, Panzo, OBrien, Bowler, Dennis, Jota, Stamenic, Carmo and Richards would be in my bomb squad.

2.) 10 Jul 2025 16:17:09
I’d keep Murato and Jota, especially with Europe in mind, and have another look at Richards. The rest are deadwood as you say mate ??.

20 Aug 2023 18:00:36
Montinel / Dominguez Argentinians on their way to us?

bsered

1.) 21 Aug 2023 16:23:43
I have seen rumours that Curtis Jones from Liverpool is being reported.

2.) 22 Aug 2023 08:52:22
With Liverpool's midfield problems, can't see it. Good player and should only improve.

3.) 22 Aug 2023 12:41:19
Good point Cockneyred. I heard also the new right back Montiel is signing to replace Aurier as its likely he will be going to Saudi Arabia and we get 10/ 15m for him. Would be sad as Aurier has been very good for us.

4.) 22 Aug 2023 18:38:10
Yes I agree but I believe Montiel is only 25, so could be a upgrade over time.

5.) 23 Aug 2023 11:32:42
Another awful signing, who j. percy said marinakis sees as a coup. Sevillas and Argentinas back up right back. Another loan, he's a court case going on for the gang rape of his then girlfriend at his mum's house, which he blames on his mate. He would be the 5/ 6tg right back. What is going on above coops, brain dead, get greenwood in of we're taking this bloke.

6.) 23 Aug 2023 12:02:33
I'd take Greenwood any day. Let the kid play football.

It's easy to cast judgement on people but not so wise when you know hardly any of the facts. The girl in question and her family are ok with it, what makes you so unforgiving?

7.) 23 Aug 2023 13:36:57
Taking rather a long time to confirm the Montiel deal. Hope its because we going to announce Montiel and Dominguez together?!

8.) 23 Aug 2023 16:27:29
Well unless the picture circulating of him holding up the number 29 shirt is fake he's already signed.

More or less what I expected. No Murillo to organise defence, no Williams so no cohesion to defence. New striker scores and Netz looked good. On to beat Wolves.

06 Feb 2026 20:56:00
No matter which way I look at it Neco williams has cost us this game, Abbott is no kind of replacement and Leeds are playing on him. We have had lots of corners and they've all been poor. A mountain to climb, but I thought we might lose here then go on and beat Wolves.

bsered

1.) 06 Feb 2026 21:10:22
We signed a left back
Dyche prefers a kid that's league one standard at best and plays the useless morata instead of cuhna
Losing 2 nil half time and sends same failures out?
Dyche the problem not nico.

06 Feb 2026 18:56:42
We will struggle without Murillo. A point would be very good but I fear a loss. Subs will be critical after an hour.

bsered

1.) 06 Feb 2026 19:29:55
Abbott? Really when we have a left back with experience?
Morato aswell, dumb ain't the word for the team dyche has put out.

2.) 06 Feb 2026 19:29:56
Just a team of alsorans, or who. On such a big game, obviously hope I'm wrong. I dunno. Frightening for me. Sorry for the negativity reds. Again. I swear hope I'm very wrong.

3.) 06 Feb 2026 19:33:31
Agree with you BSE. I'm excited, but also a bit nervous about tonight's game. I think it may be a tough gig for us tonight. I'd be happy with a draw.

I'm looking forward to hearing the noise from our amazing away supporters.

4.) 06 Feb 2026 20:00:58
Couldn't agree more Lego.
Can only see a draw of lady luck is on our side?

5.) 06 Feb 2026 20:02:40
We'll be lucky to get a draw with Abbott and costell9 playing
Terrible defence.

6.) 06 Feb 2026 20:43:53
Eh Ripley, read all my posts more ??.

7.) 06 Feb 2026 20:46:27
Looking like a Loss DTP.
Clueless Dyche.
He spends more time with his finger in his beak trying to find an answer to his inept tactics!

04 Feb 2026 15:58:01
So we have a Lucca up front and a Luca at the back now. Let's hope they both bring Luck with them.

bsered

1.) 04 Feb 2026 17:31:48
There's a biology question in there somewhere.

2.) 04 Feb 2026 18:18:13
Or is one of them “Luka” who, according to the song by Suzanne Vega, lives on the second floor?
I saw her at De Montfort Hall in the late 1980’s. A slip of a girl with a stool to sit on, a mic and a guitar (which appeared to be as big as she was) wearing dungarees, she was absolutely mesmerising.

Her song “ Tom’s Diner” is as near perfect as can be….

3.) 04 Feb 2026 19:40:06
What was you doing in bin dippers area stokey. I was ripping out the asbestos in de montfort Hall in the late 80s.

4.) 04 Feb 2026 20:19:26
Without a mask on no doubt Stellaboy.
That explains a lot.

5.) 04 Feb 2026 21:17:15
Yes gazzi smoking a ciggie while wire brushing pipes underground in a 4ft x 4ft space.17 years old didn't know how bad asbestos was at the time.

6.) 05 Feb 2026 10:50:29
Skeggs mate! Sounds a very dangerous occupation. I hope you didn’t suffer any harm then or subsequently?
My first wife is from South Wigston so I spent a lot of time down there. We went to De Montfort Gall regularly and saw some great artists, everyone from The Pretenders, Blondie, Elvis Costello right through the music spectrum to Mike Harding, Ralph McTell, Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen to Yehudi Menuin with the London Philharmonic.

Had some good times ….

7.) 05 Feb 2026 11:04:27
No wonder you moved to bracing Skegmess then.

8.) 05 Feb 2026 11:07:39
Bet it’s lovely in Skegmess today that biting wind carrying the smell of burgers onions and chips across that god forsaken dump.

9.) 05 Feb 2026 11:13:16
No laughing matter asbestosis, keep getting your lungs checked skeggy, my golfing mate was a carpenter who took a lot of asbestos out and he’s now got issues, luckily not terminal.

10.) 05 Feb 2026 16:41:37
I've also done a stint with asbestos skegs, my worst job ever years ago before I was on building sites. They actually didn't pay me the f krs saying I owed the money for my face mask. (Which I had to go on a treadmill to fit) anyway sent cpl of my mates round. Yup got my money.

Like you I also took my mask off for a ciggy. Can you remember the shower with gear on before you could take it off. Well I done in mid winter, and he made up the excuse he couldn't get gas. So outside freezing cold. Horrible memories, but my, learnt so much moving forward.

We will now definitively see if Cuiabana does exist. I have “grave” doubts.

No need to panic over Elanga either. Plenty of time for a fast winger to sign.

Igor can play on the wing. Let MGW go and let's be over it, he's given good service, let him flop at Spurs.
We need a sub for every position if we are to cope in Europe, so let's get some more gems in quick.

Wasn't MGW bought under a different owner and coach at Forest? Maybe no-one amongst them read the fine print?

You are. Speed up front and some defending was needed, that's not Lucca's forte who has only trained once with the group.

Sorry but Jesus is a talent and plays his heart out. As for Murillo it was his mistake on the half way line that led directly to their goal. Disappointing yes but don’t denigrate the great effort and spirit the lads put in. We got a vital point and move on.
