Yes rutters I'd start him tomorrow. Think after someone spent 47 million pound on 2 strikers Cooper had no choice to play them and try to make it work. He deserves a run of games and will hold up the ball well allowing others into attacking play.

He is mate . I’d start him up top, move Dennis and Johnson out wide with MGW behind him in a 4411. Surridge is a workhorse as well, unlike Anoniyi who s attempts at a press are half hearted at best. Plus Surridge is 6 ‘3 “ and might give us more of an aerial threat, plus he can pick a pass. Dennis prefers it on the wing I think he’s said in interview.

I haven’t seen awoniyi or denis or mgw hold the ball like surridge can nor head a ball. Surridge may lack pace but Kane is not exactly grease lightening. You get a proper shift out of big Sam and where on paper he might be lacking at this level I really think he will link play give the mids a chance to get on the ball and generally bring a bit of life to the line… oh and he will bury an opportunity, either foot…

What you see in the championship is a totally different ball game in the premier league
Some players will step up and take it in their stride the majority won't make it.

I'd love to see surridge vet a few games under his belt but can't see it happening don't think hink the owner would be ok impressed having close to 30 quids worth of strikers sat on the bench I'd.
