Well I thought we were poor last night, Fulham dominated the second half and deserved their equaliser. Another 5 games and we will have played 15 league games under PM and I think we will have a better idea of just where we stand. I for one am concerned, we can't defend and the continued tinkering with squad rotation can't help. I fear we will be battling relegation come the start of next year. The never ending continuation of swapping and changing squads and managers will continue on the City Ground merry-go-round roller coaster. We are no nearer the premier league than we were 10 years ago.

I wasn't at the game but followed the commentary on the club Website. What struck me from what was said by both the commentator and Laws, was that the team seemed to have little idea of what it was supposed to do as a team, and players looked lost. We missed some good chances, but had it not been for our terrific new goalie and the linesmen we could have been 5-1 down by the end. I'm not making any real judgement till mid October when PM will have had 15 games, and even then it feels too early to be sure of anything. However having said all that we had some plusses last night - Bendtner scored at last and will get better, Perquis is our rock in the centre, Carayol is getting better each game, Vaughan is a real boost to our midfield defence, and Manc is as ever reliable. In terms of minuses Dumitri is not up to it, Kasami is erratic and we have not got a defence that works for the team or each other effectively. I expect a loss to Bristol and a possible draw with Brum. At present we look like a mid to lower table team, and there does not appear to be a clear way out of that concept. All is by no means lost and our only hope is a change of ownership which will give everybody a boost and some bounce. The players look and feel flat and dispirited, and to me that is a key factor in where we are.

This team have no idea how to defend. Opposing forwards are regularly in too much space. Until that is resolved no progress will be made. No serious chance of promotion until Hasawi is gone, although financially it needs someone with seriously deep pockets to replace him, so there is no option but to give PM time. Hasawi is the same as most of these foreign owners, talks passionately about wanting football success, but when there is a huge pile of cash on the table for best players they just can't refuse, because profit is more in their dna than football. Simples.

Maybe it's an owner that has put 100 million in over the past four years and saw a way that means he will not have to put as much in this year.
and much as I do not like Fawaz you have to respect the amount of money he has put into our club.

1978 you mean the way he has wasted a 100 milliin pound he put into the club because he wouldn't put the right advisors or people that have experience and know how into the club and also he doesn't like to listen so do i feel sorry for him no do i think he should go yes 100 percent anybody who as pumped a 100 million pounds into a championship club 5 years ago and still in a worser position than when they first started obviously as no clue what there doing and all he is doing now is trying to claw what bit of money he can back out of selling are best players and will remind you again come janruary when assombongola goes.

Britt will be going nowhere until he has fully recovered, and scoring for fun.

I stated earlier that he will be apparently back after the international break, but i feel he will continue to pick up minor injuries until next season.

After such a massive injury his body is going to be fragile fo a while.

I agree 100% but I was trying to point out that He does have the right to claw some money back after the amount he has ploughed in, He may have not invested the money in a way that would have kept everyone happy but I am sure that He did it because He thought that players bought would be asset to the club, and the Managers hired should have been able to do the job He hired them to. He was ill advised from people He knew and thought He could trust.

I see where you are coming from, but if you wanted to buy a car would you ask a train enthusiast that is a friend that knew nothing about cars to help you decide.?

Tomorrow
we all agree with what you are saying but at the end of the day it's his money and nobody has the right to tell him how to spend it, and that is why nobody will have any sympathy for him when He has to sell for a loss
He trusted friends opinions instead of getting professional advise, Then when He had professional advise he ignored it.
I said long ago on here " A fool and his money are soon parted"
and if rumours are true about the sale it will cost him about 60 million.

Do you think this supposed take over is any more likely than the last.

I feel Fawaz wants more money, or to stay within the club and have more power than any potential bidder would want to offer him.

All I have been told is He can't afford to keep funding the club, He only has his family to help and they have said no more money to be invested in Forest, we can only hope the takeover does go ahead otherwise He will revert to selling players to help fund the running of the club.

unfortunately when He unwrapped the toy He never looked at the instructions on how to use it.
