I see good things Bowie. The team is clearly stronger than last season etc.

But Dominguez let the team down today with that pass - simple as that.

MGW is becoming really annoying now. Flash nonsense which gives the ball away and nearly led to them scoring (back heel). Not set up a single goal from a corner or free kick this season. Why is he still taking them? In this division, you need all the help you can get from set-pieces that lead to goals. He has also not been getting assists from open play.

All teams in this division will concede some from set-pieces, and we did today. But most teams will also score some. We don't so we have a problem.

Toffolo seems to cross the ball superbly (and had more assists from one game than Gibbs White has had ALL SEASON) so maybe we should give him a chance at corners and maybe free kicks?

But as I said in live chat, it is not a good sign when you are more of a threat from throw-ins (Niakhate) than free kicks and corners. Ridiculous.

Great post Cyclist. I pretty much agree with all of it.
The fact we are disappointed with not winning today shows how far we have come. To me, that is progress. Obviously, there’ll be the usual opinions, but we all know we have improved. Not just as a team, but as a club. I genuinely think we’ll end up mid table this season, and at least 12 points clear of the bottom three.

He took the free kick Boly scored from at Old Trafford but agree he has been a big disappointment so far this season.
Really expected him to kick on this season but if anything he has regressed.

@Fred: He did have one assist before this game, so that must have been the one. Still, one all season isn't enough for your main free kick and corner taker and supposed creative player. Your number 10 should create goals or score goals IMO.

And I'm not saying MGW isn't talented. He is, but isn't doing the job at the moment. It is that simple. Disappointing.
