That's as nervous as I've felt for a long while. I couldn't settle all match. We were so frustrating. Lost so many 50 50s. Half a yard slow all the time. Couldn't find a forward pass to save our lives and as for corners, same old.
Can't fault the effort but we got away with it today. They missed two absolute sitters.

Lovely tribute to 6-year-old Noah, who overcame cancer, from the Forest Family...
Brilliant.

An entertaining match. Villa’s quick passing of the ball really put our more laboured approach to shame. Again we rode our luck. Maybe Villa were tired as most played last Thursday in Bologna. So what will
VP do this Thursday? Surely Sunday's game is significantly more important. So I would start with the same team as last Thursday including Wood up front.
Sadly Tiawo was not on the bench as he is both literally and figuratively head and shoulders above Jesus and even Wood atm.
Why does HO play on the left wing when he is left footed? He never today, went to the byline to cross always cutting in so is on his left foot. As a result he is ineffectual. Both MGW and Anderson shifted some ground today as did Ainia. Nico was a good choice as MofM and Sels saves kept us in the match. Would we have the same luck against Villa over two legs is uncertain. Whereas I think we should beat Burnley assuming we have a goal scorer up front!

McGinn is left footed, though.
Didn't seem to be a problem for him to run us ragged at times from the right wing.

I agree. Logic tells you that your wingers should operate on whichever wing so they hit the by line and cross with their dominant foot, ie, if you are a right sided winger your strongest cross is with your right foot.
Now, the great John Robertson, although could play with both feet, played on the left wing for Forest because his left leg was the stronger. His crosses are legend.

Nononuno
John Robertson was right footed.
That's why he took all his penalties with his right foot.
Though he was brilliant on his left as well. Other than George Best, I can't think of anyone better with both feet.

2 left feet, Rogie. Unplayable!

Championship game next season!
Lincoln City v Tottenham Hotspurs.

Spurs are done for me. Chelsea lucky they didn't have Rosienor starting the season, totally out of his depth as any sort of coach.

I read in the paper today that Man City have won the race for Elliot Anderson, in a £65m deal 😆 🤣 😂 Is that £65m plus Haaland in part exchange? These reporters just make stuff up, but this one is cosmic. 😆

Think we got away with one there today. Not that we didn't play well, because we did. Villa just looked better. Nearly all their key players are back. Was very impressed with McGinn. Just pleased Watkins and Rogers didn't take their chances.
With Spurs result. All in all not a bad day.
We must beat Burnley next week!

Top four side against a bottom four side, take the point and move on.
12 Apr 2026 16:49:29
Good result today and what's even more satisfying is Spurs losing.
A great day 😁😁😁.

We hung on despite our midfield being below par. Few shots on goal and again Sels was masterful. Hutchinson poor and MGW ineffective. A point is a point but we seem to be misfiring in the last few matches.

Happy with results this weekend. I’d’ve taken a point before the game today so a good draw against a good Villa side. Although we played really well today and could’ve nicked it. Nice to see Wood back on the grass. The sheep get beat again in their quest for a play off place, such a shame 😂 And saving the best til last, Fester Sh*tty. Oh dear, four points adrift from safety with four games left and they play Portsmouth next week.
Lose that game and they are done! Come on the Pompey. Festers chairman Top (will soon change his name to bottom) was in a lift the other day, “going down?” someone said, “We’ve got four games reft yet you cheeky flucker.” was his reply. 🤣 Can’t wait to get to work in the morning with all them bin dippers. 🔴⚪️⚽️.

🤣 Very good Perko. Said a little while ago Neco, my player of season. Just 100% every game that laddie. Hutchinson, Sangare, Jesus just brought nothing to the game. Ok, little hard on Sangare. Only coz of his defending. But, Reds, this is the end of season.
We need efforts like Neco and MGW every game. Actually Anderson lost the f***n plot as well. Sels for me. Outstanding again. Makes amazing saves look easy. Believe me he does. Ok, good old Mackems done us a favour. As for a good Villa side? Really. Not for me.

McGinn ran that game.
CHO just can't defend.
Williams had to do the job of two, never got to grips with his physicality.
12 Apr 2026 19:51:19
McGinn is a pain in the arse Ff.
I wish we had a player like him.
12 Apr 2026 20:04:57
Cho gave him far too much room to dictate play, Gazz. He's useless at helping his full back.
We need more physical players for next season.
Lightweight is ok if you have extreme talent, but we've too many that lack that?

Well done Forest, a battling point against a good Villa side. A little mystified with the subs, Jesus didn't do a lot second half! Aina subbed? Is he injured? A good win for the Maccams against Spurs, and now we are closer to DirtyLeeds!
Onwards and Upwards, Porto at home next, then Burnley - who we need to put some goals past!
