My team for tomorrow is exactly the same that blew the Danish team apart in the first half, i.e. McAtee, Ndoye, Hutchison, Jesus ( Wood ) Cunhia ( if fit! ), Captain Yates, Bakwa etc.

What was the team that thrashed them 3-0 before?

2.) 09 Apr 2026 11:35:21
Hutchinson a doubt fitness-wise. Wood probably restricted to 30 mins at most.

Two players I would like Forest to sign, when we get £100 for Anderson. Harvey Elliot and Quanash (apologies for spelling). Both ex England 21 cup winners. Get Elliot’s career going again and bring back the centre back who was initially picked in this current England squad; both ex Liverpool.

Definitely agree with Quansah. Not sure on Elliott. He'd be a good signing if MGW moved on. I don't think he's quick enough for what we'd want on the wing, so, as a back up to MGW, he'd be pricey.

2.) 04 Apr 2026 19:12:16
If we get £100. Million for Anderson, we should sell him back to Newcastle and get Ellanga in part exchange.

3.) 04 Apr 2026 19:56:09
Good shout, mate.

4.) 04 Apr 2026 21:57:22
Well done, Saints!!!!
Just brilliant!!!!

My team for Sunday's crunch match.
Sels
Williams
Murrillo
Serbinator
Ainia
Yates
Anderson
McAtee
MGW
Hutchison
Tiawo.

Back to the smiling assassin. ?? Desperate.

2.) 20 Mar 2026 09:36:12
Like that team, Nononuno, but I think he'll go 3-4-3.

Sels

Jair Cunha, Morato
Milenkovic
Murillo

Aina
Sangare
Anderson
Williams

McAtee
Ndoye
MGW

McAtee and MGW as two roaming 10's, and Ndoye as a false 9, with Aina and Williams providing the width as wingbacks.

I'll just wait now to be trolled by Recliner Boy for my team set up and selection.

3.) 20 Mar 2026 09:43:47
I don't know why you bother naming the team every week. We've only got 11 players. The rest wouldn't make Lincoln City.

4.) 20 Mar 2026 09:47:41
And they are doing really badly aren't they Recliner Boy 2

5.) 20 Mar 2026 09:49:11
So our B team are the 11 players we e got are they you do talk some crap

6.) 20 Mar 2026 12:08:24
MM, you are likely right. As long as Yates and Mactee are in the team. Sangare is too negative. So, Yates ideally with Anderson. Backra played very well as a wing back last night, and I was tempted. If VP is cautious, he will go with a back 5. The impression last night, with the first team members, is they played as individuals, ie both Anderson and MGW and even Williams.

Sangare scored a great penalty but hung back. We cannot allow Spurs to dictate the game. In a great first half last night, we attacked and completely upset the Danish side's rhythm. To sit back and aim for a draw or a break away goal, is courting disaster.

7.) 20 Mar 2026 12:52:14
Bakwa also took some very good corners, though to be fair he's had no competition in that department.

17 Mar 2026 08:25:39
Rob Edwards as our next manager anyone - assuming we stay up. He, from the off, as turned Wolves round and really on recent results would be mid table. Remind me who their last manager was.

2.) 17 Mar 2026 08:44:17
Happy St Guinness Day, Rogie.

3.) 17 Mar 2026 09:06:01
We wouldn't go far wrong with Armstrong from Wolves either, big, strong and can score.

4.) 17 Mar 2026 09:13:54
Cheers, Gazzi!!!

5.) 17 Mar 2026 09:20:13
Get some 00 Guinness down you. ???

Hi Ed, For some reason when I hit the Thumbs Up, nothing happens?
Any suggestions?
Cheers

Rogie, enjoy your day, mate.

8.) 17 Mar 2026 11:22:13
I will, mate!!!
Cheers, All!
???

9.) 17 Mar 2026 15:45:33
As no one answered this thread, I started re Wolves and their success. Their previous manager, who failed with the Wolves squad, was our very own VP. As for Armstrong, or any striker coming to this basket-case of a club, there is a cat in hell's chance.

We will only survive if Tiawo keeps on being picked; he will score goals. If Jesus is picked instead, we go down.

The prices to be charged for the match this Thursday are an absolute disgrace. £50 - £70 pounds. Can the club's management sink any lower?

Nononuno

1.) 11 Mar 2026 09:36:45
I've just had an email from the ticket office. Prices have been reduced for the game on Thursday. £15 for season card and members, with partial refunds being made to people who have already purchased tickets!
They made a statement saying they've listened to fans concerned about the pricing of tickets!
It's an 8pm kick-off on a Thursday.

Did they not think people might not want to pay so much!!!

2.) 11 Mar 2026 10:50:47
That's only because they can't sell em for the Mickey Mouse Cup.

3.) 11 Mar 2026 13:36:45
I hope we are getting refunds. I paid 50 quid for mine. Ridiculous pricing for this game.

4.) 11 Mar 2026 14:50:21
Yeah, Stevie, you will get a refund.

5.) 11 Mar 2026 15:24:25
The whole European tickets have been a rip-off. Dread to think what they'd charged if it was Champions League.

Just looked on the site n it's still saying they are plus 50 quid despite getting email saying it's 15 quid.

Apparently it's a 28 day wait for anyone who paid full price already.

6.) 11 Mar 2026 16:52:32
Stripey, does the seller have a kiss me skegs hat on? Just asking.

7.) 11 Mar 2026 17:08:19
No one at the club knows who or what Skegs is, mate. ?

I'll wear a hat if you pay double. ?

8.) 11 Mar 2026 17:29:00
?? Stripey, well, me n Balloons know him well enough.

9.) 12 Mar 2026 10:57:47
Commiserations, Bowie.

10.) 12 Mar 2026 12:37:44
Hey up, Baldy, what have I done to you. ?

My belief is the next manager will be Da Silva. What is 8 million compensation to Fulham as far as Forest’s fortunes are concerned. We won’t need to worry re worsening our financial viability, as Nuno got a quick job it saved us a few million at least.

Stokey, we can all remember recent games where we deserved more, but as it happens in life, luck seems against you sometimes. However, it balances out in time. Spurs had no luck today, thank goodness. Delighted for both Jesus and Tiawo, but all the team put in a shift. Pleased also for all the away fans who you have heard cheering our team on through good and bad times.

VP looked happy today, and I was glad to see his success. Michael Oliver was a very good referee today. I have no doubt there will be further twists to this season, but I agree with VP, the team are together atm. M.

Too late Vitor Pereira has picked a side which is likely not to score. The only goals will come if they do from Mgw.

Sangare has been better this season, but still stays too far back and passes sideways often. Yates is much more box to box and has endless energy. Remember, VP's traditional squad he picks not only don't score goals, but don't win either.

I realise a draw is not a bad result, but it is about time under VP that we won a game. He chose well on Thursday night, and the team played as a unit. When the first 11 started to come on, we lost our form, and individuals tried to take on the whole team.

Up to 61 minutes we had the Danish team on the back foot. All the players played well together. So, looking at it rather perversely, the first team who played the first match and then came on at 61 mins tonight lost 2-0.
The second team who played 61 mins tonight won 2-0.

A lot of the second team have come for a lot of criticism. McAtee, Hutchinson, Bakwa, Yates, Ndoye, Morato all had a great first 61 minutes, going forward all the time. 3 players were subbed and then we went backwards and they scored.
