May not b news to many but just come back from Greece. Conversation with 2 Greek guys about football. Told them about Olympiakos owner taking over forest and asked if they thought it was good or bad. They said good - spends money, re-invests, long term planning. Olympiakos now cut above every other Greek team. But he is under investigation for 2 allegations - use of his shipping line to smuggle heroine and illegal betting. Not sure where that leaves the fit and proper test?

Sounds like he could be a good owner for the club if you ignore the allegations against him. I would like to think he'll pass the fit and proper person test as Cellino did at Leeds and he's got a string of convictions against his name!

He is on bail in Greece and reports to a police station every 15 days, he's been accused of match fixing, bribing refs, politicians and the Greek fa and violence towards an official. Lots of baggage with this guy but no court as made any of it stick yet.
