Apparently Man United, Barcelona and Bayern Munich have entered the race for Burke now. This doesn't surprise me but the fee being touted around is still in the region of 10m! which is a steal if compared to the 14m being quoted for players like kodjia from Bristol city. let's hope we don't cash in but if we do we need to be asking for more than 10m, especially if top European clubs are competing for him.

Just read the same thing on the web. Says Bayern have spoken to us about a £10m deal, but if these other big clubs are looking too, let them fight it out, they have the money. Though the article did sound quite far-fetched.

Thursday can't come soon enough.

It's a joke, with some good f the best clubs in Europe after him, it's clear the potential they believe he has so 10m would be undervaluing him by another 10m I'd say. We need to get him back on loan for the season and make sure the money is reinvested in good talent.

Why sell when getting into the premier league is worth 120million minimum
Not sure about fawaz finances but if his dream is top flight football selling Burke will end the dream in my opinion
This year with Britt and Burke on fire will be our best chance for the last few years
Last season we balanced the books wage wise because of ffp sold Antonio for 7million sold surely there's money there
Please fawaz stand firm and give us the best chance of promotion.

All this talk of big clubs chasing Burke not doing him any favours. He couldn't have looked less interested yesterday. Cohen had to stroke his ego at half time and told him he can't be the main star in every game. Scored a quality goal at the end which no doubt cheered him up a bit. Still a young lad so you can forgive him for that. The end of the transfer window can't come soon enough.

If these elite clubs are looking to sign Burke.
Then fawas needs to make statement nobody talks to him or us for less than 20m plus clauses. I hope he stays. But I think he will go. 20m back on loan for season plus sell on fee.

This is mostly just agent tout and lazy journalism. These elite clubs will maybe look at him and then get bored and buy someone else for bigger money.

What is the point in selling him. The money is irrelvant. I doubt it would be reinvested just debt clearance. He is such a talent that his stock will gef better injury avoidance allowing. He is one of the only mobile strikers we have as britt is not assured yet. He will benefit from a few more years with forest and we will too.

My favourite article on this was the one that said Man U are interested but they face competition from some of Europe's biggest clubs, Bayern, Barcelona, Arsenal and West Brom.

All sounded promising until the last one, which was obviously thrown in to prove that it's utter horse .

Red bull liepzig supposedly won the race to sign Burke for a reported 13m! Let's hope this is not true.

He's gone! For 13 or 15 million depending who you believe to Leipzig in the Bundesliga in Germany. Sad but true - depressing!
