HL to Villa in the next 24 hrs, fee on the region of 3/3.5 million, almost another million from Bamford's fee. Will it be re-invested? Probably not, same old story, sick of it all now!

Another one of our best players leaving need to reinvest in some up and coming players from lower leagues so when we play in league one next season they will have knowledge of it lol😎

I agree Daz. How many millions have we taken in transfer fees? Darlow, Lascelles, Antonio, Burke, Patterson, DeVries, Lansbury (subject to transfer going through) , Bamford sell on clause. the list goes on. That's tens of millions of pounds. all we get in return is a management merry-go-round and free signings. It's clear to me what is happening- expect Brit to be the next one sold. The club is a joke. FAWAZ OUT

This club is spending too much in wages. Would you pay Lansbury £40,000 plus per week, £160,000 per month, £2,080,000 per year, even in the Championship, I think not. Get real.

Not saying we should pay anyone that kind of money, but Fawaz is running this club into the ground. Good luck to HL and his 40k a week, who wouldn't take that offer. Villa are a PL team, like it or not, and have the money to go with it, and by the looks of things they have a plan and structure in place, something we can only wish for.

Villa were relegated and are currently mid table 10 points off playoff places so how are they a premier league team ? Better than us granted but it's all about money for HL rather than playing for the badge

The sad reality is we are losing about 1 mill a month, so unless we have a generous sugar Daddy to Bank roll us we have to sell. I have to say, I really don't think Villa will escape the champ this season although HL's prospects of getting there are a lot better with them.

To be quite honest, I think he have a very charitable and generous transfer strategy that is to be applauded. We develop and bring through excellent youth products to sell at a good price, so that money can go towards the wages of has-been journeymen desperate for their next pay-day and deadbeat Managers that struggle to find work elsewhere. We're a charity club and we should be proud to help these people. If we called ourselves Red Cross Forest we'd have an knighthood by now.

If Lansbury is getting the £40k a week reported. Forest have just done a great piece of business. £3 m for a player we paid a million for. A player who would have gone for nothing in 3 months. £40 k a month is over £2 million a year.

He was a one game in four player at best. He has a poor attitude and like many others he has played the less than a year left on his contract situation perfectly. Looking good in televised games. Happy to play for us on Saturday, but not to sign a new deal. Why? Because he was quite happy to wait until the summer, when as well as the £40k a week, he would have got a nice little signing on too. We have 6 other players out of contract in the summer.

Our club is a shambles. Only stable clubs avoid such situations to happen and we have not been a stable club since Billy Davies left the first time. That was when Nigel Doughty threw in the towel. Fawaz continues to be a disaster, but many of his mistakes have been prompted by the same group of fans who hounded out Nigel Doughty. It is not a popular view, but Fawaz got rid of Freedman because social media fans were telling him they wanted attacking football.

13 matches unbeaten was not good enough in an embargo with no fit strikers. Sean O'Driscoll was not stellar enough for the same group of fans. Pearce was jettisoned to quickly because pressure was mounting. They threaten boycotts and protests if more players aren't signed.

They boo when players come onto the pitch. They boo if it is nil nil at half time. They complain when Burke is sold for £13 m but stay away from the ground because ticket prices are to high. Fawaz has been a fool, but something far more fundamental is wrong with our once great club.

There is something fundamentally wrong with our once great game. I posted yesterday that it is crazy that Paul Pogba is worth £35 million more than our club. It was put into 'other posts' section. I want to do something more to help my club. Apart from paying out over £1000 on two season tickets, or buying a shirt from the club shop. I want to change the culture of the club the players and the supporters.

I want a club I can be proud of, with players who are proud to play for us. I don't want protests. I don't want boycotts. I don't want booing. I want to enjoy going to the City Ground again. We will alway have to sell players. We will always get messed about by selfish players like Lansbury, until we start filling the ground and making my it a great place to play.

When the City Ground becomes our Theatre of Dreams. Manchester United have bad owners and they just became the richest club in the world. Why because they fill their ground and when it was full they made it bigger. Supporters Trust make this happen and I would walk over glass to help you.

Well said Wishey! I understand the frustration of the these people that are protesting, however what are they going to achieve. nothing positive, just create a negative atmosphere and pile more pressure on the players! We all need to get behind the team/club now and give them every opportunity to get out of this mess. I say good luck to Henri. If I was offered double my wages I would take it, plus Forest have to look at the deal on the table and see it as a good piece of business. Some people say pay Henri £40k a week, but not only is that what put us in FFP problems before but there are other players in the squad that would have to be paid that as well due to clauses in contracts.
