Sly spurts say Montanier has been sacked!

captain caveman

1.) 14 Jan 2017 22:20:57
Told you all earlier, Gary Brazil in charge.

2.) 14 Jan 2017 22:21:33
Yep, quite a few saying that

3.) 14 Jan 2017 23:09:01
If Brazil takes charge League 1 is a certainty!

14 Jan 2017 20:40:13
Still chance the deal could be back on Monday. Bloom says that JJM is still in London so has not gone back to USA. Faulkner says that it happened to villa with Americans and Fawaz says "current deal not good". Fingers crossed.

captain caveman

1.) 14 Jan 2017 21:05:09
It does sound slightly hopefully that JJM is still in London, but this is FAH. Not getting my hopes up.

2.) 14 Jan 2017 21:08:42
So are we saying that we want what villa had with Lerner? I don't know too many club owners that are loved by the fans, so I won't hold my breath for a saviour!

3.) 14 Jan 2017 21:51:29
Right now I would take Lerner over Fawaz. One thing we know is that Americans like to do things properly. Every owner can be hit or miss. right now no manager will come, I would rather have JJM and start again.

4.) 14 Jan 2017 22:22:12
The deal will not happen, JJMoores is reported to be in London but Fawaz will not be selling the club.

Victor Sanchez ex Olympiacos Assitant Manager odds on favourite with most bookies today, to be new manager! Nothing spectacular! Not good appointment for me!

captain caveman

1.) 20 Jun 2016 15:26:25
Why do you know him personally? I've realised over the past 3 months that even if Guardiola had been given the job 50% on here would moan. I just wish we would appoint a manager now because it's just got beyond boring now.

2.) 20 Jun 2016 16:59:16
Foreign director of football and foreign coach would be bad combination. Need manager with experience of lower leagues in England. Need players with similar experience to form backbone of the team if promotion is to be realistic target.

3.) 20 Jun 2016 17:17:38
Nick26 why do I need to know him personally?
His record on all internet sites if average if not lower, has managed for the last couple of years. Please enlighten everyone with your immense knowledge of this guy and why he would be such a good appointment? My personal choice is Zola but then again just an opinion before you get your knickers in a twist.

4.) 20 Jun 2016 19:13:55
What does anything on the bloody internet matter? The biggest and most important thing about an appointment of a new manager is that the majority of fans are positive. Your post is typically negative which seems to be the current trend whoever is mentioned.

Sky sports reporting that Oliver Burke being chased by Arsenal in the summer.

captain caveman

1.) 22 Apr 2016 10:38:06
tricky one as I'm sure he has at least a 10m price tag on him but I think he's going to be pivotal next season if we're going to take the playoff hope seriously, he and Lansbury should be Britts main support.

2.) 22 Apr 2016 11:22:17
Can someone explain to what Oliver Burke has seriously done to achieve Gazzareds ridiculous 10 million quid ( at least ) price tag?

3.) 22 Apr 2016 11:49:34
What had Theo Walcott done before he joined Arsenal for 12 million? The clubs buy them for the obvious potential that they have! Having said that he should stay at the CG to realise that potential!

4.) 22 Apr 2016 12:00:56
IBM - I bet people were saying the same thing when Spurs signed Bale from Southampton for 10m at the age of 17, and now look. The fact that many scouts from the Prem are monitoring him shows the potential they think he has and that's what warrants that price tag, not how good he is now, but how good he could be in years to come.

5.) 22 Apr 2016 12:38:55
IBM - simple isn't it? we don't want to sell him, he has huge potential and a big club with loads of money are looking at him. Nobody on here is saying he is worth 10M but he should have a large price tag put on him and he might be worth 10M to Arsenal.

6.) 22 Apr 2016 13:09:43
10 million. COOL! I'm thinking of investing next weeks dole money on an intergalactic space cruiser.

7.) 22 Apr 2016 14:17:55
Good luck with that no.22. By the way what are you on about? 😊.

8.) 22 Apr 2016 16:50:28
Don't forget he has an international cap already something Theo didn't.

9.) 22 Apr 2016 18:25:10
I think if Theo was Scottish he would have made the national side before he was 19.

10.) 22 Apr 2016 18:58:08
Surley anybody who knows a little bit about football can see the vast potential Twisty has, big fast powerful skill full and determined, if he fulfills half of his potential he will be some player so he, s got to be worth a big fee, look at some the over priced forgine players who come to the PL and do nothing, but hopefully we might enjoy him for a few more years!
CARLO.

11.) 22 Apr 2016 20:54:14
Yeah, because Wenger is known for his big spending! Lol!

12.) 22 Apr 2016 22:10:39
Can't believe Tyler Walker hasn't been snapped up for 20 million yet? Seems like a bargain.

13.) 23 Apr 2016 00:54:11
It's exactly this vastly extreme overated opinions of some of our players that just fuel the over expectancy of a lot of fans. Theo Walcott and Gareth Bale were outstanding young natural talents always destined to achieve better things at bigger clubs. Anybody with an ounce of football knowledge must see with his own eyes that Burke will never rise anywhere near this standard.

14.) 23 Apr 2016 20:19:25
It's because doughty and Arthur used the pals at the nep to print rubbish about this state of the art academy which was costing a fortune.

No need to invest in players as the academy will produce eleven world betters, this is our future we heard them say.

Consequently we all see it as something it isn't rather than embracing it for what it is ( which is decent to be fair) but not prolific.

08 Sep 2015 21:09:46
NEP says going through tomorrow.

captain caveman

1.) 09 Sep 2015 09:27:32
He's already been interviewed so will be announced today.

2.) 09 Sep 2015 13:37:12
So do we now assume with the silence he has fallen down the terracing during the interview and got injured before signing?

3.) 09 Sep 2015 17:49:19
Paul Taylor says he will be signing tomorrow afternoon. No problems just paperwork issues. COYR

4.) 09 Sep 2015 18:21:45
Have we paid the stationary supplier for the signing pen?

5.) 09 Sep 2015 20:08:45
The question is,which Paul Taylor?
CARLO

Thomas Tuchel has come into the betting odds at 4th favourite at 12/ 1! Wishful thinking.

captain caveman

1.) 06 Jan 2018 09:55:15
Sheffield Wednesday took two weeks to find their manager, could we take him on after only one week.?

2.) 06 Jan 2018 12:56:07
Heckinbottom definitely looks like next manager

3.) 06 Jan 2018 13:09:34
What makes you think that Skegsjay?

4.) 06 Jan 2018 14:09:17
At 1/3 skeggs it's looking that way.
Karanka out to 20/1
Poyet a strange one at 3/1 now.

5.) 06 Jan 2018 15:20:32
There's nothing negative if he is, have some believe,
A good performance tomorrow will make us all positive.

6.) 06 Jan 2018 15:30:30
Most popular bet is clough at 28%.
If his surname was smith nobody would even want him.

7.) 06 Jan 2018 15:58:11
I’m trying to jinx the bloke grey so we don’t get him πŸ™‚

31 Aug 2017 09:27:37
Sky Sports News saying Forest have enquired about Tim Krul. that would be a good signing!

captain caveman

29 Aug 2017 12:13:18
Harley Dean won't be joining as he is having a medical at Birmingham, ahead of Β£2m move. Sky sports news.

captain caveman

1.) 29 Aug 2017 12:51:35
Was Dean even on the clubs list of possibilities, or did someone in the media make the Brentford connection with Warburton and went, oh last year of contract, former Brentford manager now at Forest, what a brilliant idea i will get that out as rumour.

31 Aug 2016 21:37:16
Jordan Rhodes gone to Norwich season long loan. Does that mean we get Lewis Grabban?

captain caveman

1.) 31 Aug 2016 21:49:22
That means what it always means we get no one.

2.) 31 Aug 2016 22:00:26
Theres still time time for fuzzy to sell someone too.

3.) 31 Aug 2016 22:00:40
Lol
So true
In fact no one has been our biggest signing so far.

4.) 31 Aug 2016 22:01:28
Rhodes has gone nowhere yet but he won't be coming to us, talk of 12 million. I'll be surprised if Shef Weds or Norwich will pay that as well.

30 Aug 2016 21:35:07
Asamoah Gyan has pulled out of a move to Reading to re-evaluate his options. I wonder if FAWAZ has gone back with a better deal in the last 24 hours!

captain caveman

1.) 30 Aug 2016 22:01:30
Apparantley failed a medical so no chance of signing for us πŸ˜€.

2.) 30 Aug 2016 23:14:06
Well signing injured players is never a problem. It all boils down to the eyesight!

3.) 30 Aug 2016 23:28:01
Was it an eye test he failed?

4.) 30 Aug 2016 23:28:11
If he failed a medical, we will definitely sign him. We need to keep someone sitting next to Fryatt.

5.) 31 Aug 2016 00:28:25
Matty fryatt. May God rest his soul. πŸ‘Ό.

Interesting about Jokanovic. Sign him up now, with a bit of money would be far better than the other two.

Bsered - I can. As much as I like Smith and the fact that we have brought him through, he can't kick a football, in fact his distribution is awful. Therefore does not fit in with Warburtons way. Warburton will be fair, send him on loan to county and ensure that we work on this and help him improve.
