Fawaz has not done a good job as owner of Nottingham Forest, that is my opinion, it has been my opinion for a very long time.

I do not see why having that opinion should stop me supporting the side.

His biggest failing has been to use the social media to gauge the opinions of the supporters and sacked good people and managers because calls to do so have been made on social media sites like this one.

I hope Fawaz has learned his lesson and gives Warburton and McParland times to do their job. ODrisscol, Pearce, Freedman and Montanier were all good managers, but were sacked, because Fawaz believed he was doing what the fans were calling for. He brought Davies back to the club because he believed that is what the fans wanted him to do.

When these same fans call for protests they cannot understand why only 1000 supporters turn up.

It was the same in Nigel Doughty's final days, when the hypocritical green top protesters were dotted around the ground. Yet it was the high levels of abuse against the then owner that were cited levels of abuse as the reason for withdrawing his substantial financial support.

Could not of put it any better myself, people need to put up or shut up and give the new manager and his backroom staff a chance. He might not be everyone's first choice but he is a decent manager so let's get behind him and the team.

His biggest failing is His own EGO thinking He could buy and run the club without any knowledge of the EFL and not having the right people in place to help him. Then listening to so called friends who were agents telling him to do this and do that and sign this player and that player. and then to think He knows better than any of the managers He has employed so signs players that have Big reputations and even bigger wage packets that were well past their best. He may have spent £100 million since He took over ( sorry LOANED the club) but just how much money has He wasted on sacking Managers signing useless loan players and Foreign imports that can't even get a game.

Wishey If the fans told him to put his head in the gas oven
Would He do it? . The man does not have a clue. There are 92
League clubs How many chairman listen to what the fans want and sack the manager.

some good points wishey but the good manager note is nonsense (imo) - there's no backing to call any of those managers good (some may be good coaches but not managers)

He was doing a poor job that's agreed, but this year he has been great. And would appear to be trying to do the right things. We cannot predict the future but we can support Fawaz when he does the right things.

Red DA. just stop and think again. Doing a good job trying to sell to the greek? letting the Greek have his say on the manager and players he brought in? Not selling to the Yanks when everything was ready to go? Sacking PM with no plan in place replace him, ? Not sorting out contracts with players?
Signing Bendtner because he was a big name? Not submitting the accounts on time so we couldn't compete in the transfer window until the last few days? signing McCormack without the managers knowledge? . So you still think He s done well . this year. Well I don't and I think others will agree with me.

It's what's best for Fawaz, always was, always will be.

I heard he even tried to sign Arnold Schwarzenegger. Someone told him he was a "big name"! 😂😂😋.

That is why we probably got Britt, with his surname.

I don't want Fawaz to own our club for another day. I believe he has good intentions, but he doesn't know who are never mind have the right to put in place to get us where this great club should be. I will support the new manager and back room staff 100%, but a lot more needs to change at our club before the Premiership can become a reality.

As I say he's done a great job this year. Most of the stuff you are quoting happened last year/
this year
Paid off debt
DOF in
CFO in
new manager in
players in

history not forgotten but credit where credit is due.

He has done his job this year, the fact that he hasn't done it properly for the last few years doesn't mean he should get praise now. Do your job badly for a few years and then put in a few decent shifts - would you expect to be told you are doing a good job? Or would you just be doing what you should be dfoing?

Fawaz has a very poor credit rating because He has been to the High courts too many times non payment of Bills.

If we go down will you still be saying he's done a great job?
Stable door and horse come to mind.

Carlo read what I said "history not forgotten". But he has done a good job this year! And yes it won't change if we go down.

He has backed the club in Jan put a structure in place and there is not much more any chairman can do.

The new manager assistant manager and DOF have the reins. The players need to do their part. And fans can choose to get behind the team and do their part or not.

What will you do on Sat?

17 Mar 2017 16:20:26
I'm always behind the team at the game, always go down thinking we can win at least with my heart if not my head .
He's interfered again with the signing of Mac which is not paying off on the pitch and probably not in the dressing room, he's just got to go end of!
CARLO.

Good year? Heading for our lowest league position since he took charge. Warburton does not have a magic wand or hat.

Red DA when does your year start? last month maybe. Prior that we have had 2 failed takeovers an embargo for not filing accounts on time a sacked manager, owner who blamed the greek for the manager and players signed by him. an awful transfer window where He loaned players that he manager knew nothing about. Yes He has written off some of the debt but then ask yourself who caused the debt in the first place.
This man is a fool and that is why his family let him nowhere near their well run business.

Binns if your happy to keep knocking everything and not moving on far be it rom me to stop you. Forest's financial records are available for all to check. If Fawaz had sold all the assets he could and not written off the debt where would we be?
Like a lot of people on here you are happy to point out failings yet offer no solution.
I am suggesting we all get behind the team and help us avoid relegation. Apart from having yet another go at the chairman and dragging up the past ( some without a shred of proof ) what are you suggesting?
