Don't keep saying the players didn't " turn up " for Pearce! He had the same problems at Man City and with the England under 21's and at the time players came out and were critical of his methods! They can't all be wrong! I will back him with signing the likes of Britt, Antonio and Burke but feel that all 3 would have prospered better under a better manager. Every time I have seen Burke prior to joining us he has destroyed teams ( including us ) and then since playing under Pearce a different player and sitting mostly on the bench! Now look at him, too much of a coincidence! Look at Henry, looks like the player of old! I feel we kept Pearce 5 games too long and it will probably cost us!

I'm a big pearce fan and always will be people are entitled to there opinions and I agree half the players didn't play for pearce for some reason but even I want to move past this pearce douggie thing now it's getting boring let's just celebrate were actually winning for a change and let's hope the roller coaster of managers don't start again in the summer great win today great goal antonio

Well it,s a big difference in play on the field with freedman in charge, if only pearce had been sacked sooner. proves pearce don,t have what it takes to be a manager.see how many points from the same number of games pearce had will prove a point.

So we play for of the worst teams on the league and dougie is god.lets wait till we play someone with a bit of quality before we judge to much.yes we are back to winning ways but Bolton Blackpool Brighton and Wigan are all struggling at the bottom end and all looked poor but Blackpool could've of beat us and Brighton should of beat us.we still look poor in defence and against a decent strike force we will conceded very easily.

People ought to belt up now about Pearce, like other posters have stated, it's getting dull ! We all know by now the Pearce lovers and haters, the same people keep coming on and they're not saying anything new. Whatever Pearce's shortcomings as a manager, do remember that this is still the team he put together.

Probably get slaughtered for this but I thought he showed glimpses of promise yesterday with some of the runs he went on and the positions he got into. He must be desparate to impress and get his first goal for the club and it can't be easy for the lad. He can look clumsy but I think that's his size. He needs minutes and should probably go out on loan. People should get off his back and give him a chance, he'll never progress with a few minutes here and there.

See your point up the forest, the test will come next season when we play world beaters at home such as milwall Birmingham and sheff weds, quite acceptable such talented teams humiliated hs in our iwn back yard. Quite right that will prove to be the real test as to whether we have improved or not.
