Great to see Gary Megson doing the business again?
Been a great loss to football and really missed the entertaining football his team's produce.😁😁😁

I listened to the commentary yesterday. Wba were good and the players worked their socks off for megson. He is flawed but that don't make him a bad person who does not deserve a second chance to earn a living!!!!

It didn’t work out for Megson and he’s was a disaster for the club.

Perhaps worth looking at the way the club was being run rather than pinning it all the manager who in all fairness has always done ok elsewhere. No world beater but ok.
Certainly seemed like the man to get us competing again but alas not.

megson is in a long lit if managers who have been ruined by the toxic environment at the club. Thankfully we seem to be past that now. Long may it go on.

My daughter was doing work experience as a physio at Forest just after Megson left (I think Frank Barlow and Mcparland had just taken over,both absolute gentleman she said) and in the treatment room every player talked about how much they hated him and how relieved they were that he d gone. There loathing for him was matched only by his loathing for them! His management style was to sit on a chair at the side of the training ground pitch and shout repeatedly at the players that they were,to a man,rubbish! What a motivator!

{Ed001's Note - was cousin was a youngster at Stockport County, came through the youth system under Dave Jones and just signed a new long term contract and was playing regularly. Jones was replaced by Megson and my cousin never even met him, he never saw him train, never saw him play, just stuck him straight back in the youth team, with absolutely no idea of how good, bad or indifferent he was. The players there hated him too.}

Rutland he was the worst manager we've ever had,the football was dire.
First game he played our centre forward Gareth Taylor at centre half.it only got worst after that.
Tried nil nil or a one nil.
Shocking entertainment for any fan to put up with.

We now get some wanting more clean sheets FF79. Forest will hopefully show Cardiff some fire today and win. I will go for 3-2 for Forest. COYR
