Given Eric's red I'd have taken a point but thought we could have still tried to attack occasionally especially as the opposition was Burton.
Fox and Figueiredo looked solid but Burton don't possess the pace to really test them.
Darikwa better than he has been but still a couple of mistakes and allows too much room for the winger to run into allthough Osborn was also guilty of this when he replaced Lichaj.
Brereton was a complete waste of a shirt. Won one flick on all game and just kept jumping into defenders giving away free kicks. I wouldn't play him again this season unless we're down to the bare bones.
Don't expect any free flowing football or many goals under Karanka because That's not what he's about.

Brereton is crap Fred, he got the positional sense of a squashed hedge hog. By the end of the season I don’t think Osborn, Dowell, smith and Brereton will be any where near the team unless, as you say we are down to the bare bones. Can’t decide about Cash yet and I’d say the same about Worral if we had options.

Cash did ok again. Ploughed a lone furrow after the red card but never stopped trying to get forward and does provide good cover for the fullback.
I'd sooner see him central though. Not sure how he ever ended up on the wing but suppose his chances of a place in the middle are less likely now with the new arrivals.

Whoa whoa whoa under Warburton Dowell was are best player and a good player at that also if I remember rightly not long back you was all saying brereton was playing crap under Warburton because he played him out of position so he was crap anyway nothing to do with mw please happy clappers make your mind up and stick to it or at least remember what you’ve posted in the past ☝️

Brereton is crap no matter where he is played Skegs and I've never said any different. Useless up front and even worse on the wing.
You really do need to get over the breadman's departure though. I'm starting to get a bit concerned over your obsession with him.

Didn't go today Fred as Burton stored the loophole of standing in their end.
Listened on radio and it sounded quite poor,my main concern is I can't see where a goal is coming from.
If Brereton is crapp as you say that just leaves Murphy,he's done with vellios by looks of it.
I just think the midfield are too far away from the striker and create very little either.
So doesn't matter who you put up top they will look bad .

Lol red it wasn’t personal at you and 2star just get fed up with excuses from fans I’m not sticking up for mw I’m just fed up with fans blaming him for everything and not actually looking at the problem that is at the minute Karanka I cannot see where a goal is going to come from for the rest of the season with what he has left is self with like I said 3-4 weeks ago worst forward line up and strike force I have seen in forests history

Anyway Stella’s are out and I’m going to celebrate the fact we got a draw and teams under us lost so guess it was a bonus 🍺🎶🕺🍺🍺🤪

I stood with the Burton fans FF79.
Poor old Tomlin was on the receiving end of some comical abuse regarding his weight😂.
Your right about the midfield being too deep. Only Cash is anywhere near the lone striker.
I agree with you and Skegs regarding where our next goal is coming from.
I also struggle to see where our next 3 point game is going to come from.

Again harsh on Osbourn the lads ran himself ragged for the forest shirt. I'd still rest him for a few games to recharge same for Worrall harsh analysis hasn't had a break in summer being involved with England again I'd rest him a few games. Think we just need to slowly plod this season out hopefully we can pick up a couple wins in next 5 or 6 games just to get to 40 plus points. Games running out though thankfully Burton and Sunderland are garbage and won't get many more points so it could be third spot up for grabs again let's hope we not involved yet again don't think the ticker can take much more.

When the f*** will we score again? Bring back that loving feeling! I’ll be honest I’m grateful we haven’t lost - but by heck this is bloody frustrating!

Not knocking the lads efforts Clough, I like Osborn but he’s just looked devoid of any spark lately. A rest as you say would do him good.

17 Feb 2018 20:17:04
Cheers Fred I did it last year.
And tomlin should not be playing when so clearly unfit.
The way I see it is yes he's toughened up midfield but there is no spark and I'm being totally honest,I want to be entertained as well as hopefully be succesfull again,That's why Karanka is not for me.
Won't stop going I shall be there against reading, but the most I'm hoping for is nil nil.
Is that what we want to see?

17 Feb 2018 20:36:14
Fair point 2 star it's just so frustrating and demoralizing ain't it being a true red. when all we want is a shot at trying to get into the prem which has only really happened under the psycho sweaty sock. Us fans deserve better especially the amount we take to away games.

It the tactics clough is god .
It's making a lot if not most look bad.
Can't see it altering either anytime soon.

Yeah I agree mate why can't we try 442 for a few games wat have we got to lose.

Yes the attacking entertainment of PM and MW was edge of the seat stuff. Doomers wasn't it? How the boot has swung onto the other foot 😭
Red card completely changed the game with us on top before it.Shame for Lolley who sounded like he was well in the game before the reshuffle.

breeton is like a rabbit caught in a cars headlights. these young players get good chances to score only to waste every chance they seem to get. they need more experience. get some experienced mature players up front. the chances they waste are criminal. some one needs to show them what they supposed to do when they get the ball in frront of goal. can't beat burton.ffs

Brereton is crap, Murphy needs putting out to pasture and Velios is head and shoulders the best we have. Players need a run of games, especially strikers and chopping and changing them on a weekly basis is not helping anyone. Pick ya striker and stick with him please.
