Jamie when fit always worked hard and gave other teams no breathing space but his contract is up at the end of his loan spell. AK must have been blunt with him to find another club, that would not have gone down well with him so he will not be happy. Calling it the bomb squad is a bit nasty to say.

Just another player who believes he has a right to be picked for the first team
57 games he played for us over four years and that equates to 15 games a season. That's been our long term problems players not putting a shift in expecting their pay getting injured not hitting form.
Let's hope once we get shot of the dead wood we can look forward to players that want to be at the club.
No one should slag of their employees when they are still being paid by them or are Charleston picking up all of his salary. I doubt it.

Wards 57 appearances have come mainly over 2seasons because he spent such a lot of time sent on loan .
When in the team nobody could fault Wards hard work and commitment which you can,t say about everybody in football.
When referring to the bomb squad he means the players who have been bombed out and possibly not given a fair crack of the whip .
If all players put in Wards effort most fans would go home satisfied, that,s the one thing they all should give !
CARLO

Agree with most of the posts about ward never set the team on fire been injured a lot picking up big bucks never mentioned forest sticking by him i always find it strange that players tend to slag there clubs off but clubs don't do it when was the last time a club said a player is rubbish they have treated us badly rant over !!.

Quite a pathetic interview as he answered his own question. He had signed a 4 year contract which he clearly admits he was lucky to have been offered and has hardly given value for money.

What did expect AK to say to him when he needs him out the door and off the payroll. Like most of those bombed out they have found their true value and level in lower leagues!

Liked his aggression but his end product was pretty poor.

Sorry Carlo you got it wrong. Ward played all 57 games in one season straight after d-rby got shot of him. Whatever he still has no right to criticise the club that's paying him. I find it disgraceful to the extreme

Especially when you consider that AK was totally honest and up front with the lad right from the off!As I said sour grapes.

Jamie always worked hard because that’s his game he has very little else to offer, I will say though him getting us the pen in the crucial relegation day v Ipswich was as important as smiths save , and he was as always chasing a seemingly lost cause, fair play but he must have known as soon as Ak came in that was it , even warburton didn’t really have him in his plans
