Well the sad day has arrived, the manager allegedly has asked to be released from his contract, yeah right.

I hate it when i see that our manager has been sacked because it means either we have something wrong at the club, another season has to be written off, or both.

We all have had different feelings about each manager that has been and gone, it can be down to their personalities, the type of football they get their teams to play, or their record as a manager has not been good enough in our opinion.

Once a new manager joins us, no matter what we think about them, and we all enjoy having our say on the matter all we want is for each and every one of them to be successful, because it means Our Beloved Club Nottingham Forest is successful.

When a performance, or a result is not as good as it should be we let our feelings be known, be it about a single player, a bunch of players, the whole team, or indeed the manager for what ever reason.

When however, be it down to a owner that does not know how to run a club, a owner that has backed the manager fully but expects a bit too much, or simply the manager has not been up to the job it does not stop it hurting when the day arrives that they get sacked.

I do find it unacceptable, no matter how i felt about Aitor's way of getting football to be played, his tactics, and types of substitutions that he has been sacked after a win, especially after beating the league leaders, no matter how it happened.

The fact that we are close enough to the play offs at present to easily be able to catch up with at least one of the teams in there over the course of the season makes it a stupid time to sack him.

I just hope that our owner knows what he is doing and it all comes good, as we all do, but i can not get over the timing of it all.

He walked both sides agreed the relationship had broken down and was beyond repair.
When you say the timing,he won a game and we've been around the top eight all season, but every time we threaten to get into the top six we lose.
Bottom line for me is the guy didn't string two wins together and that won't win you anything.
Time to move on and get a manager in with some flexibility in his tactics

85, If you believe the Post, they have said it was a mutual agreement, that the club the Aitor set the team out to be too reserved against Chelsea, that sounds as much like the club pressed his buttons to get him to leave.

The club has been said to say, there will be no further comments.

'Come in Aitor, nice to see you. ' 'Can I have money for players in the transfer window please?'

Mr M smiles fondly: 'No!' Aitor strokes his chin: 'Can I be released from my contract then? 'Consider it done, Aitor, your replacement's keen to start!!'
Aitor leaves, staring at the floor.

Mr M picks up his mobile. 'Jose,Jose? Good man! Come up mate>>>
