Well Russell Slade has left Cardiff! Forest fan with championship experience. Wouldn't me my first choice but there are worse managers I am sure.

Maybe, just maybe some of the Dougie haters, doubters, moaners might give the guy a chance. He has a SQUAD of players not just a starting 11 as we have had before. I am sure there will be changes again on Saturday but he is blending the players together. Has anyone thought that this might help with the changes? I bet they planned for Mendes and Ogrady playing and we played a slightly different way to unbalance them? Time to give the the bloke a chance and an opportunity to shine at our club... Maybe just maybe???

Question for you all. Next season who would you rather have in midfield Gary Gardener on 3 year deal or Lansbury with a year left on his contract?
Personally I would have Gardener.

point is we would never get gardener on a 3 year contract so the question is pointless. i would rather have messi on a 3 year deal but that won't happen either

Villa decide on the terms of the deal, they may think Gardner has prospered to the point that another season running our midfield would be extremely beneficial & adjust the terms to meet our restrictions. We have improved him & he clearly likes the club. Its not as far out as your suggesting.

Completely agree. If sherwood doesn't rate him he will come back to the championship. Where might be an issue!! Been a great player for us but is he prem quality?? Certainly not stand out prem quality and sherwood may well look else where. That is more than feasible

Well they are not the results we wanted. I think that shows that the play off we're just a distant dream. All 7 of the teams above us playing tonight won!! It least now we have some confidence and can start to blood some of the younger players.

As I have said before, we have a slim chance of making the play-offs, but other than derby we have to play all of the teams above us we have just got tokens going and hope for some luck.

Lets not worry to much about the playoffs, just enjoy the moment a win tonight would be fantastic, my thoughts are about players like Gardner who is fitting in well, he will go back to Villa at the end of the season, i think we should give the youngsters a chance once there is no danger of relegation, maybe 15-20 minutes if we are in no danger of losing they are our future 😊

Dougie has already stated, unless his hand is forced, he won't play youngsters until he feels they are ready. Regardless of whether we find ourselves in no mans land. He will go with his best 11 to win games of football.

You say sell Lansbury and Vaughan. I understand with Lansburys current performances but Vaughan has the ability to split open defences just like Reid given the chance. I understand the left back issue but another centre half? We have Laing and Reira ready to come through. Keeper we have The young guy out at Manafield doing great and gaining some valuable experience. Why shouldn't we use the squad we have and see what gems we potentially have hiding. Osborne is a great example of someone we should be getting behind and wanting to perform.
