Sorry to see him go as a good player but if he wants to go then good bye and good luck. Maybe we would play with two central mids and two wingers and Britt upfront with Fryatt. That would be some team. Darlow, lichaj, Hobbs, Mancienne, Cohen, Burke, Vaughan/Osborn, Reid, Antonio, Britt, Fryatt. Subs DeVriis, Lescelles, Osborn/Grant, Fox, Lars, Patterson, Mclaughlin
It just did not work out for Cox and wish him well. Was at the WBA game and Mackie looked well moody and did not really interact with the others during warm up, just looked unhappy so am not surprised to see him go out on lone as he probably knows Burke will be in front of him this season.
I have to say I am amazed. We sell two players with 1 season in the championship for more money then some premiership players and world cup players and we still get them back for free and its all doom and gloom. The fact there was a misunderstanding between the owner and manager who were in different countries and Stuart Peace would have sold them but for more is a bit unfortunate but tell me what players have been brought in who are not decent and more importantly are not Stuarts choices. We have the best team in years and we should be positive. If we lose Lansbury its because he wants to go and we have Osborn ready to take his place.
Why is everybody so worried. Lansbury is a good player but is injury prone and won't play a full season, take the money now. I ave seen Osborn a few times now and his passing is quality and really think he could be one of the stars of this season. With the new two with their pace this could be a good season. Glad Darlow is back but could not see lacelles playing a lot of games if Hobbs stays fit.
