Whilst us fans are being mugged off by yet another international break, does anybody watch that crap anyway, I watched a bit of the sickoffantic wolverine lastnight. If what he says about Filipe is true then here goes with another Richards, scarpa, obrien surridge joke. It's said that Filipe is training hard yet does not even make the match day squad. Probably the best player at the club. I did say earlier that he has a persistent knee issue and we won't see him again. However if he is training full pelt then that debunks that thought. Apparently he is being fattened up for sale. Or being sent to the new bomb squad, olympiakos. What do you all believe or think?

Agree, Felipe was our best player last season. Hope they are nursing him back as we might need him after the Christmas injury fest.

2.) 17 Nov 2023 20:07:32
Thats down to marinakis Rutland who he recruits from us
He's on 72 k a week and his contract ends in summer
Looks like nino lined up to replace him?
There will be players going to monza now aswell as that's another club marinakis owns
He's a buisn3ss man Rutland and he's buying younger players to replace older ones, got nothing to do with Cooper his hands are tied on these sort of deals, he's just the coach.

3.) 17 Nov 2023 20:36:02
rutland, felippe is 34 i think so just can't see him playing for us again we, ve been linked with this Nino from Fluminesce coming in Jan for 6m and we've got the norwich lad waiting for his chance too. not sure if buying so many players from africa and s america instead of europe is a great idea when you lose so many for there tournaments each year but not complaining very lucky to have a chairman like Mr M prepared to splash the cash :-)

4.) 18 Nov 2023 10:58:40
I can see Felipe playing for us again. He was our second-fastest player still last season and one of the fastest defenders in Europe (something like that) and looked as sharp as a pin only a few months ago.

If we don't get any injuries and sign Nino, then it probably won't happen, but if we get a couple of injuries at CB over Chrimbo then he's a good bet to play if fit.

5.) 24 Nov 2023 14:39:22
Wolverine speaks absolute nonesense, anyone listening to that garbage needs there heads testing, he didn't support forest before prem, lives in Swindon, he's a sausage, incel and troll channel for kids that know nothing about football.

6.) 03 Dec 2023 15:31:06
Well Felipe is back. ?.

I think Nuno has got a few things wrong recently but he shows bravery in dropping players he thinks can be a liability. ie ELANGA and CHO. But ORIGI should go the same way. A square pass to Wood and the Brighton score would have been different. ORIGI just can't cut the mustard at this level. I doubt Sangare will fair much better if selected. We need players with passion and bottle. Where we lack in midfield creativity you cannot lose the limited Yates, even with his crap wrestling and stupid cheap fouls, he shows drive and mentality required over this run in. However cheap free kicks in dangerous areas are leading to our downfall so it needs eradicating. I still think we look a better unit under Nuno but the players will stop believing if we don't pop in a few goals and get some confidence boosting points. I think the cloud over potential points deduction's is an absolute disgrace whilst a season is in progress. How can a team operate under this uncertainty?. Any investigation should be done in the close season and the punishment meated out then, for example a team should start the season on minus points rather than the chaos which will unfold with us and Everton which will effect many clubs down the line.

Good post Rutland.

2.) 16 Mar 2024 11:07:42
Rutland sorry don’t really understand how it can be ‘ ‘brave’ to start a game you could really do with winning, without your best striker Awonyi, probably the quickest winger in the league, elanga, and a man who’s been in decent goal scoring form in CHO, and replace them with a barely fit wood, then play origi out wide, seems stupid not brave to me, Brighton were crap and there for the taking, managerial blunder, , just like playing a cart horse of a central defender, at left back, against a flying machine at villa, if this manager don’t pull his finger out, we won’t need a point deduction to relegate us,

3.) 16 Mar 2024 12:16:41
Not been on this site since the derby game 3 years back. Had to have brain surgery that summer, but the doctor who operated was a red and got me in during close season. Been a blast this last couple of seasons, but as I see it the back room staff have let the club down. Cup final today. CoyR.

It's crazy how we have cover in every dept except the most important in that of a striker. We have about 5 goalies costing a fortune, we have strong defensive cover in every dept x3 in most cases but up front just two very injury prone strikers. Now I'm not advocating we have £100 million worth of worldies picking splinters out there #rses every weekend, but surely we should have back up in the form of promising coming through the ranks or 30yrs something experienced with still something to prove to call on. Our midfield is bereft of back up goals with only our wide men knocking in occaisionally. Yes under Nuno we probably have scored a few more but when we play it tight we suffer from camacasie stupidity that sometimes you cannot legislate for. Competion for the strikers role is imperative and maybe that has lead to complacency. When utd scored last week I noticed activity on the bench and the rushing on of what I hoped was seasoned goal getters, what I saw was what looked like to frightened boys, I bet that terrified united.

1.) 05 Mar 2024 10:01:09
Origi and awoniyi only just getting fitness back and wood still out
The strikers haven't done to badly as their strike rate per games they have played is pretty good.

2.) 05 Mar 2024 11:30:48
Origi has definitely looked the part in the last few games. The season is dead in the water rutters but we will survive and go again next season ?.

3.) 05 Mar 2024 12:26:51
Garth Crooks said: “The fact that Forest were incapable of putting the ball into the back of the Liverpool net having created so many chances should be of far greater concern to manager Nuno Espirito Santo and the club's owner Evangelos Marinakis, than the controversy surrounding the referee Forest are claiming cost them the game. ”

Crooks is right. The fans should have exactly the same concerns.

Another match another late winner against us. Just like against utd it wasn't officials or VAR that cost us, it was poor decision making again at the death. Yes I can see the passion over running if you were at the match but in the light of day we let ourselves down. We didn't take our chances and with only 30% posession your on a knife edge. No shame in losing to liverpool or utd, seems like we competed well but the players who are designed to win us matches are costing us matches, maybe that is why they are with us now and not the big clubs they started at. It's a close call if we are to stay up, we're looking more like a unit under Nuno and we'll start taking our chances. Concentration and better decision making has to improve over the full duration as we undo all the hard work in one stupid moment.

Rutland red 9

1.) 03 Mar 2024 12:11:42
Good post Rutland.
Not happy with the decision at the end but ultimately we should have dealt with the ball from the resulting corner. Had a few chances to get a goal or two as well so only ourselves to blame on the whole.

Like you say a much better unit under Nuno, I really think we’ll be fine this season. Just need to get wins against the teams around us!

2.) 03 Mar 2024 13:01:16
Another good post Rutland.

3.) 03 Mar 2024 13:57:42
Excellent post Rutters and yes we are a much better side under nuno
That's the big boys out the way for a bit. I'm sure we'll pick up some points over the next 4/ 5 games. ?.

4.) 03 Mar 2024 14:15:30
Balloons results don’t suggest that,

5.) 03 Mar 2024 15:46:58
Have faith stevie. We'll be reet me duck. ?.

29 Feb 2024 05:10:52
We lost lastnight not because of VAR or a dodgy offside call. We lost because we failed to convert our chances. There is no support going forward, no midfield getting beyond the strikers and not once when we shot and keeper parried did we have anyone busting a gut to knock in the rebound. Our dead ball crosses are woeful, aimless floated nonesense from big ears. Even when we beat Newcastle away, and I said at the time, Chris Wood was the only Forest man in the box when he bagged his hatrick. The same people on here who banged on about the so called brilliant mangala eulogise about Danilo, he's crap, headless chicken a ghost. Going back to the goal, Elanga did the most stupidest thing you could ever want. Approaching the 90th minute he puts his arm out, what an idiot. Gives utd a dead ball situation in the most dangerous of areas and Fernandez delivered a killer ball. Nuno would be gutted by this. Anyone who relies on VAR to chalk off a goal is just desperate and anti football. I saw that goal as excellent delivery and imagination. Brave from chasmiro and utter stupidity from us. You cannot defend a cross running back towards your goal, just one person coming off the post to attack that ball and it's a different story. To defend by running away to create an offside is even worse. As soon as Elanga committed that foul I thought goal coming, you just knew it.
Yes Fernandez is a whinging cheating sod, but he's clever and can deliver. Over the 90 minutes utd were the better team, direct, neat build up, piled forward with plenty of options. I feel for Turner, he had a solid game and to blame him for the goal is criminal. And for the record I thought our full backs were excellent where we lack is midfield, their all over the shop with no control or class.

1.) 29 Feb 2024 07:14:26
I think Williams looks a different player under nuno. Excellent game.
When is someone going to tell MGW he's crap at dead balls.
What's with the annoying Ali shuffle every time he runs up ?
He's nicked that of Mbappe. The difference is Mbappe can play ?.

2.) 29 Feb 2024 07:23:27
We lost the game because a goal situation that var officials deemed offside Sunday is not offside on Wednesday, they set the precedent, how can you plan how to defend if the rules change from game to game? We played a player offside and var cheated us yet again,

3.) 29 Feb 2024 08:55:52
Stevie what a load of tosh. The only player offside was in the right position. If he blocked our players from getting into the right position then he’s done his job. And we all know the ever changing rules with offside and the term interfering with play. Remember the expression when defending, GET GOALSIDE? Chasmiro timed his run to perfection and the fact that was even looked at was pathetic. Just like with toneys free kick we go to sleep and don’t have the intelegence. Funny how you fail to mention the comedy challenge that led to the free kick. There’s a lot of over rated idiots in this squad and lastnight showed it.

4.) 29 Feb 2024 09:20:53
Nunos system of 4, 2, 1 3 doesn't allow us to dominate midfield, it's not possible to ask two holding midfielders to get beyond the strikers and join in
The system is to win a tackle and swiftly pass to MGW or one of the wingers
Basically we are set up to counter attack, that's the way nuno has his sides playing
Two midfielders can't control a game against three.

5.) 29 Feb 2024 09:34:34
79 you’ve just destroyed your own argument. If we’re set up to counter then we should be compact from the back to midfield. Cloughie was the master at counter attack but the difference was that players bust a got streaming forward supporting, over lapping heading for the box in numbers.
Problem seems that Yates and Danilo are lacking in pace and guile and mgw is simply all over the shop trying killer passes it’s a good job Murrilo can spread a decent ball.

6.) 29 Feb 2024 09:52:00
Who is arguing?
Danillo put some sublime passes out to the wings, the players aren't playing for clough, they are playing under nunos instructions, if the players weren't doing what he asked of them he would drop them
You keep going on about the old days, move on its now that matters.

7.) 29 Feb 2024 10:04:08
79 Danilo may have put some sublime balls out wide, but it shouldn’t stop there. Getting up and trying to get on the end of the crosses and supporting the strikers should be a given. That’s why we didn’t convert chances, simply no follow up or options in the box.
Last 5 mins captain would be saying nothing stupid don’t give away any cheap free kicks, knowing our ability at dead balls, then Alanga does that!

8.) 29 Feb 2024 10:08:07
Rutland if he’s blocked the defenders he’s not doing his job he’s interfering with play, offside.

9.) 29 Feb 2024 10:13:27
Down the pub spot on, the ‘ prem’ manager plays a system that leaves us outnumbered in midfield against quality teams,

10.) 29 Feb 2024 10:38:39
Oh I see it’s Nuno bashing already. Fair enough stevie. So we have to rely on officials and Var to protect us. You’re very naive to think that is how football should be played. We have to take responsibility for our actions on the pitch. VAR is a calamity. If it wasn’t for the constant replaying of that free kick no one would have said a word. It was a decent goal to the naked eye, we fluffed it, we don’t learn and that’s the worrying thing.
We blew it at villa because Nuno got it wrong for sure, he won’t make that mistake again, I wish I could say the same for the players.

11.) 29 Feb 2024 10:45:43
I know he was paraphrasing, but at the end when Shearer said 'WE SCORED LATE, WON THE GAME etc, I did feel that it was a poor choice of language. That, along with the camera taking more shots of Ferguson than Nuno made me wonder if the Beeb has another agenda apart from loving Liverpool. Any way they got the dream tie they wanted (and got home early).
Sorry folks Utd were poor -Forest poorer!
PS. Well done JJ for pointing out to Lineker that Forest were the home team and need some attention before the game!

12.) 29 Feb 2024 19:29:22
Rutland I’m not asking anyone to protect us all I’m asking is for the laws to be implemented consistently, and not changing from Monday to Wednesday, as for nuno bashing not really, agreeing with a stone cold fact, the way he sets up can leave us light in midfield, unlike you I can’t be bothered to write war and peace every post to explain it,

13.) 29 Feb 2024 23:49:29
Pretty sure Liverpool had a goal disallowed on Sunday for exactly the same thing in normal time.

We had enough chances to be fair but just didn't take them unfortunately.

Concentrate on staying up now and all that, still think we will be ok.

Munmad slab head McGuire is a better defender and can head a ball. MURRILLO can pass accepted but he’s no commanding defender.

Lol you’d have to be mad to appoint cooper at a prem club. He struggled with us and had no identity or proven ability at this level. Championship with a mediocre club is his level.

Cooper had no plan B he shot his bolt. It wouldn’t give me a lift having him back. Now let’s look at wood. Cooper never played him, he would play without a striker and leave wood on the bench. Great judge. I’ll leave it there.

Probably still boring. I gave up with international football when Sven was appointed. What I’ve seen under Southgate is dreadful and reflects the mandate from the FA. Boring, hollow, corporate baying,. Southgate’s what’s wrong with football. Bowing to the woke agenda, promoted way beyond his ability, crap footballer into the bargain. Rant over, did England play yesterday? They must have because Forest didn’t, oh that could be any Saturday these days. International break.
