SP wanting to get Nick Powell in on a season long loan with a view to permanent. As given HL until midweek to make his mind up about new contract or leave. To be honest wouldn't be sad to see him go now, fed up with the whole issue. Injury prone anyway and Powell looks a better long term prospect.
1.) Not sure how u come to the conclusion Powell is better long term prospect!
I would take Henri any day over Powell. However I do agree with u in terms of wanting the matter sorted one one or the other ASAP and as a replacement Powell is a very good shout
2.) Two things mystify me about this posting
1) how can you say that you wouldn't be sorry to HL go? He's our best player!
2) nick Powell is not better
It amazes me how when players could leave, that player suddenly becomes not as good and other players become better
Strange!
3.) NEP just said that SP has said he is not a target.
They've all been great signings and during the season will have big parts to play, but for me at the moment it's Mancienne, he's been the difference between drawing or losing one or two games this season
If Mcgoldrick is worth £8m I'm getting my boots out from the back of the shed and making a comeback!

£5m really, I'd expect to pay that for a good premier player not an un proven league 1 player ( or in real money a 3rd division player ). Hey look out here comes Forest let's rip em off again!!
£7m for two average championship players. Good business by SP, second half of last season after their enthusiasm wained they looked very ordinary, SP has bought in Mancienne and Laing ( better players than Lascalles ) for a combined fee of £1m and if we can get Butland for £2m, that's 3 quality players in and 2 average players out plus £4m in credit. That's good business in my book! IN PEARCE WE TRUST
