Nottingham Forest identify Mehdi Taremi as number one target
According to The Athletic, the Reds are eyeing one of four new striker targets with a varying degree of quality, and now the number one target has emerged.
It’s believed that Taremi is the number one striker target for this month, with the 33-year-old currently playing for Evangelos Marinakis’ other club, Olympiacos.

This one looks a realistic acquisition, as a footballer he looks like he could do the business, just hope he doesn't use Nottingham Forest to spout his politics seeing as he's a close friend of the Iranian President!

Kalimuendo scored a very good goal against Utrecht then promptly gets dropped for the next game!, unless Kalimuendo wanted away can not understand it, so now Taremi is the emergency forwards we are forced to look at and hope they can salvage the season.

Stokey do you know anything about Taremi? Honestly he's not exactly a world beater, modest goal scoring record and only moved to decent clubs recently in his career (porto and inter). Wood had bagged goals in the Premier league prior to last seasons efforts so already knew the league, the culture, the style and is a naturalised English speaker.
Just find it all extremely underwhelming, the Wolves lad is available, just go and get him if that's the style of forward Dyche wants. At least looking at the size of the forwards we're being linked with Dyche should be slightly happier, all massive and they fit his cretaceous style. ??.

Red Robin, no mate I don’t know anything about Taremi. I know much more about Strand Larson having seen him play a few times. I think he might do a job for us but I’m only guessing here. Who knows what Edu and the recruitment team have lined up as Woody replacement. But SD will have told them what he wants.
