Look all these players that get mentioned rarely happen in any window
We are spent up unless we sell Anderson
Rumour has ut that the board isn't happy with the comments made by dyche after the Wrexham game and some aren't happy with recent performances
Personally think we will stick till end of season, but a bad defeat Saturday and anything other than a win against wolves could change things
Either way he's gone by end of may.

Looking like spurs will listen to offers for jonno?
Love to have him back.

1.) 17 Dec 2025 09:07:48
We wouldn't have to drop anyone out of the squad if we sign him as he counts as a home grown at your own club player.

2.) 17 Dec 2025 10:52:36
I’d have Johnno back. Depends on how young Bakwa shapes up when he gets a proper chance. Especially with Ndoye out of form. First choice wingers are CHO and Hutch so Johnno will have to wait his chance.
The only problem I can see is that Johnson Senior would have to invest in a new scarf ?! ?.

3.) 17 Dec 2025 12:11:56
Just shows, the first team who bid for Johnson was Brentford, not necessarily wanted by Frank?, yes I'd have him back, still young but know has Premier league and European experience.

4.) 17 Dec 2025 13:43:07
Would be a great fit for our side, has got goals in him, would be welcomed back into the club with a far stronger squad than he left. Must admit the last couple of games young Hutchinson has impressed me, not only with offensive work but tracking back also. Also Elanga struggling to impress, he will be the next one muted for a move.

5.) 18 Dec 2025 14:15:44
The Spurs fans I've spoke to don't like jonno at all. Even though he was their top league goal scorer last season. From the wing. I don't understand football fans sometimes.

6.) 18 Dec 2025 19:12:29
My thoughts are that he's learned his trade as a winger, I niw believe both he and CHO could play as deep strikers and use their pace through the middle, like I say would love to have him back
Ndoye I think we would get our money back as a lot of italyeamz would be interested
To me sell ndoye and get jonno back.

7.) 18 Dec 2025 19:12:44
I think Spurs will want to make a profit on him and he cost them £48 million odd. So it will upwards of 50. I'd look elsewhere.

8.) 19 Dec 2025 09:55:06
I’m not so sure after his spell at Spurs his value has gone down rather than up. If he’s not getting games he will want out. Would be a great player in our squad, would get more game time at Forest.

Rotating CHO, Hutchinson and Johnson would give us real options. Dan Ndoye has struggled, made a bright start but has for some reason not established himself.

9.) 19 Dec 2025 10:25:18
Ravers, I don’t think they’ll get their £48m back on Johnno mate. They’ll be lucky to get half that back. Could be a good loan deal with option to buy for us in January?

10.) 19 Dec 2025 18:54:06
I'd go with that Stokey. Hopefully, he has realised that 'the grass isn't always greener on the other side'. I reckon his heart is still with Forest.

11.) 19 Dec 2025 20:22:17
He could be open for a return, he not going be first choice at spurs with Kudus there. The squad forest have got now is better than when he left. Reckon a bid of 35m would be enough for Spurs to think about it. Reckon villa will make a move though.

12.) 20 Dec 2025 16:32:20
I know think Elanga will come back to us, and Anderson will return to Newcastle, and we get about 50 million profit!. I think Elanga made a mistake and Anderson would love to return home, unfortunately it means Johnson ends up at Palace or Bournemouth ?.

13.) 20 Dec 2025 22:42:31
Never understood why Eddie howe so desperately wanted elanga?
He had Murphy, Gordon, and Harvey Barnes already and has now made him 4th choice
Ruining his career but has a nice wage coming in.

14.) 22 Dec 2025 17:13:12
If Anderson does leave, I don't think it will be for Newcastle.
I think his ambitions are much higher that them.
Liverpool, Man City or Real Madrid is his destination imo.

{Ed001's Note - I hope you are right with your first suggestion! Fantastic player who would improve pretty much any team in the world.}

15.) 22 Dec 2025 19:22:48
If Ando goes i can see it being to Arsenal, he would suit their system and style. ?.

18 Nov 2025 08:28:36
Looks like we are interested in lames garner along with Newcastle and villa, Dyche a big fan.

Downthepub

1.) 18 Nov 2025 13:58:04
I don't think the feelings mutual, Garner said some things about the style of play under Dyche, what wasn't complimentary!, still a bit harsh calling him "Lame". ?.

2.) 20 Nov 2025 12:06:24
Maybe a short term contract as Sangare will probably be at Afcon. ?.

3.) 20 Nov 2025 12:06:50
In January i meant to put. ?.

4.) 20 Nov 2025 21:39:18
He's not for free in January and afcon starts in December, so wouldn't work.

5.) 21 Nov 2025 09:58:29
I know that, minimal fee January though. ?.

6.) 21 Nov 2025 20:11:53
So a minimal fee and a short contract?
Yes Garner will sign that all day long
Whats not to like about that deal? ???.

7.) 21 Nov 2025 20:30:16
I wouldn't want to sign anyone with the first name "Lames" anyway DTP, you seem to be voicing your opinion loads lately, have you sent in your C. V. to big Mr M as a potential replacement for Edu?
Get a grip man, he's championship quality, had one decent season on loan with us way back when and since has done absolutely zero.

Stop living in the past ???.

8.) 21 Nov 2025 20:45:45
Scraping the barrel winter
Whoops I forgot you don't voice your opinion at all ????.

9.) 21 Nov 2025 21:40:01
Yep you continue laughing at yourself, hilarious ???.

10.) 21 Nov 2025 21:55:13
No your the laughy stock
And all there for anyone to read ???.

11.) 22 Nov 2025 00:28:59
Hmmm Illiterate comes to mind, get off the high horse, hang on in layman's terms.

U spells n speaks bad like, tis a difference between their n there and anyone who thunks diffucuze is onie idiotic.

P. S i tis dount lovie our interchanges DTP ???.

Nuno sacked bought it on himself.

Downthepub

22 Aug 2025 11:42:21
Marinakis thinking of sacking nuno over his outburst on transfers?

Downthepub

1.) 22 Aug 2025 13:08:14
If Nuno has us in the top 8 and wins games, I doubt Marinakis would push him out. IF we don't get a good start with the "easy" fixtures we have, Nuno probably won't be here long.

2.) 22 Aug 2025 13:37:50
And replacing him with Postecoglou? Excellent idea. The mind doth boggle. Mr. M doesn't appear to take any form of criticism well at all. He's very thin skinned.

3.) 22 Aug 2025 14:12:15
According to a Greek source close to Marinakis, the claims have been rebutted. "Forest currently have no plans to replace Nuno"

4.) 22 Aug 2025 15:15:02
His press conference today doesn't fill me with much confidence. All but saying the relationship has broken down. Oh dear.

5.) 23 Aug 2025 01:30:07
Clearly something is not right. If it's a Nuno or Edu situation, I think Edu wins. Which means Nuno goes, I have never seen him so uptight in a press conference. Hopefully big M sorts it.

Just seen the worst var decision ever
Man city v Newcastle
You can't disallow goals for that
Totally ridiculous and look whis in charge of var?
ATTWELL the only ref to give a goal that missed by 3 yards ???.

Downthepub

1.) 13 Jan 2026 21:32:00
Yeah DTP, that was shocking, clear and obvious? ?.

2.) 13 Jan 2026 21:34:37
DTP any decision that goes against the untouchables aka Manchester City is ok with me!

3.) 13 Jan 2026 21:35:09
Just posted the same dtp. Absolute joke.

4.) 13 Jan 2026 21:38:01
And how long did it take them to come to that ridiculous conclusion. Terrible decision.

5.) 13 Jan 2026 21:47:52
Munmad I'm not supporter of city, but that decision was off the Richter scale in terms of bad.
It's not good for football in general mate.

6.) 13 Jan 2026 22:16:15
Sir les thought it was obvious with his mate?
Really?
Unbelievable crap.

7.) 13 Jan 2026 22:30:33
It really doesn't matter which club it's happening to. it was a joke and just shows how var now can manipulate a game. took all the fun now how to celebrate a goal now fans after wait at least 5 minutes to celebrate one.

8.) 13 Jan 2026 22:42:04
Im agreeing with you skeggs was a farce of a decision and not a clear and obvious mistake by the referee.

13 Jan 2026 20:47:57
Man city where charged with 115 counts in February 2023, nearly three years?
I for one think every supporter in every premier league ground should protest against it taking so long if ever they will come to any sort of conclusion?
They just carry on spending without a care?
Shall I put a protest about that on the upper tier Saturday?

Downthepub

1.) 13 Jan 2026 21:29:59
Depends how you're going to spell it mate.

2.) 13 Jan 2026 21:36:47
I'll miss the c out gazzi.

3.) 13 Jan 2026 21:39:05
I hope your spell checker is working ok, DTP.

13 Jan 2026 20:24:34
Garry Burtl3z legend has said he feels sorry for jesus feeding off scraps?
Could not agree more
Join the modern world of football dyche or do one.

1.) 13 Jan 2026 20:49:06
Or even birtles ?.

2.) 13 Jan 2026 20:55:25
I love the old players. Great memories but that's all they are games moved way on from them they wouldn't cope in a game nowadays. like you have said to posters loads of times games moved on I still don't rate Jesus same as Richardson.

3.) 13 Jan 2026 21:11:45
Jesus fed 5000 people with one basket of food that consisted of five loaves of bread and two fishes and still somehow had 12 baskets left over so he's got no excuse really.

4.) 13 Jan 2026 21:15:21
They have better idea than us skeggs
While Richardson?

10 Jan 2026 23:38:57
