My goodness, the FA really do hate Forest! They certainly hate the big man! Absolutely not condoning spitting, but every single close up of any player, what do they do? Ah yes, they spit!
Then MGW and Nuno banned for ‘swearing’. Again, a basic lip reader will see at least 4 times a game “ ref” or “F Off Ref”.

Well FA, you can jog on, all you’ve done is consolidate us all! NFFC against the world! That’s why we throw bodies in front of any shot and throw ourselves at anything!
Playing for the badge is something we should be extremely proud of.

Our owner was pulled up for spitting in the tunnel, and says that it was because of mucous in his mouth due to the smoking of cigars. He spat it out just as the the four officials were passing him.
We have had so many run ins with the F A its time we pulled our heads in, we are not winning any goodwill, there may be some contentious issues in the future so let's be sensible about it.

It's maranakis tunnel if he wants to spit and they don't like it tough. how many times do you see players and officials spitting in a game all the time he probably had a bit of kebab stuck in his throat and wanted to share some with the officials ?.

Spitting is out of order Arizona mate. Disgusting habit and gives us a bad name. He deserves his punishment. I can just imagine Nigel Doughty, Billy Walker and the old Forest Commitee men spinning in their graves at this behaviour. What an example to set. Disgraceful behaviour imo.

On a less serious note the first time I used a new telephone interpreter service when I was a Custody Sgt at the Bridwell I had no idea how it was organized. So while on my staff was fetching our foreign “guest” from the cells I was making the usual inane telephone conversation including the famous words “ Wgats the weather doing where you are, it’s lashing it down here. ”?
The lady sweetly replied “ I’m calling from Arizona Sgt. it hasn’t rained here for 20 years ……. ” ???.

I agree Stokey, it’s awful and does indeed give us a bad name. But, by all accounts, nobody has said Marankis spat AT anyone, just ‘in the vicinity’. My point was, that the amount of players that constantly spit, and it’s on camera at least 20 times a game, and nothing is said. So what makes it different if Marankis didn’t spit AT someone? Is it because it was in the tunnel? That’s all I can think of why it has been deemed worse.

I think it was aimed to land by the refs foot mate as a mark of disrespect. It was always going to start trouble. Next time any of us are in a bar in Nottm try an experiment and spit near some blokes foot. Bound to cause a ruck!
