Let’s just be honest now. West Ham is a massive game now. A win and 7 points clear. Mr Dyche, I can’t speak for all, but as far as I’m concerned, we should go all out to win. On the front foot from the off. No playing for a point, get at them from the start. Make them put their hearts into every tackle, every pass. 100% commitment to the cause. No hiding places, no excuses. Remind them how privileged they are to play for this great club.
If you get them to do that, I’m sure we’ll all be behind you. You said after Liverpool, and you said it with pride “I never got to play for the badge” and I could tell it meant a lot to you that you now had the chance to influence this great club. Get your players to know they do have this chance. I’m sure that’s all us fans are wanting. Over to you now.

Totally agree with you Arizona.

Happy new year all. As most will know, I’m normally pretty pragmatic, and I hope, quite reasoned on here. But, I am putting down the defeat to Everton down to SD. It was obvious that the crosses we were putting in were not working. However, it wasn’t the fact we were putting crosses in, it was HOW we put the crosses in. TBF to Moyels, every time Hutchinson or Hudson Odoi had the ball, there were 2 players on them straight away.
To me, it was obvious that passing the ball back and floating it in was never going to work. Gave the two giants an easy night. What should have happened, and there was plenty of opportunities, was a quick one two, run behind and cross from the byline, which will make their defenders face their own goal. Then it’s very different! Why our very highly paid coach couldn’t see it I don’t know.
Just my opinion.

Happy New Year to you too Arizona. You don't post very often on here, but when you do I always sit-up and take notice! Your posts are always well-reasoned and pragmatic mate.
Sadly, I have to admit that I agree with you 100%. Whilst I remain a big fan of SD, I was dismayed to see his tactics against Everton. It's the sign of a true idiot to try the same thing time and again when it is obvious that the approach is not working. That goes equally in football as it does in all of our everyday lives.
I remain hopeful, but after the last few games I must admit that nagging doubts have crept into my mind about our future in the PL as a club.
2.) 01 Jan 2026 20:26:32
You remain a Dyche fan. Why? Not just a fan but a big fan, again why?. Nowt stranger than folk.
?.
3.) 01 Jan 2026 21:09:15
Very well put Arizona mate.
4.) 01 Jan 2026 21:21:30
I am and always will be a massive fan of Stuart Pearce was he a good manager hell no. move on.
5.) 01 Jan 2026 21:37:59
Come on Lego, man up mate. Our recent form is a temporary blip which SD will rectify. It’s a strange one with Jesus and the crosses, he’s normally nailed on to score! ??Sorry about that, but on a serious note Jesus scored the winner with a brave header against a 6 ‘6” Wolves keeper and a similar couple against Betis. His hold up play and strength against 2 big ( and world class) centre backs against Man City was incredible.
However, you’d generally prefer a big Chris Wood type player in that situation. Perhaps SD tells his players to mix it up and leaves it to them which option to use and they were too one dimensional against Everton. It was a strange one. We definitely need a big target up top to give us options now Woody is finished for the season!

Very sad news yesterday. I only got to see Robbo play live a few times.
My first ever Forest game, when I was 8, was against West Ham. It was in the league title winning season. We won 2-0 and Robbo scored a penalty. My step dad took me, ( which was great as he was a Notts season ticket holder, bless him ).
We stood in the east stand as it was then, and the only thing I saw was the penalty as he lifted me up so I could see! Still remember it so clearly!
Been hooked ever since!
May he Rest in Peace.
These are the things that bring all us reds together as the family we are.
1.) 26 Dec 2025 12:29:52
Very true mate.
Loving all the tributes.
2.) 26 Dec 2025 20:23:19
Great posts, Arizona, stevie f.
27 Sep 2025 19:28:47
Simply not good enough. Not much to say.
Hate writing negative posts. I’ll always love them though.
1.) 27 Sep 2025 20:56:27
Couldn't agree with you more Arizona. A deflating performance. I feel sorry for the fans who paid good money to watch that.
2.) 27 Sep 2025 21:25:33
Been a supporter since calling for Matt Gilles to be got rid of, this guy is worse, makes Russell Martin look like a tactical genius ??. Well done the Godfather ???.
20 Sep 2025 18:37:22
Yep, we’ll be ok DTP. Everyone, I know it’s been strange these last couple of weeks, but it’ll be ok. This wasn’t expected, but it’s happened, and we genuinely do have some good players in this squad. We will be ok.
Well, whatever happens, we’ll still be going/ supporting the mighty reds. No one can take that away. And take solace in that MR M has huge ambition for us. He won’t let us slide!
I genuinely believe we will end up having a good season. Problem is, society these days wants everything instant. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work like that!
We will be ok.
1.) 20 Sep 2025 19:22:41
Instant it's took us decades to get stability back to get where we are in the Premier league and into Europe we just get settled and guess what a change of manager/ coach whatever but that's not the biggest problem if your going to get rid of a decent manager please upgrade him we have a manager now that took Tottenham to the lowest they've been in this league ok he won the uefa Cup against a poor man utd but unless we can score 3 or 4 goals a game we won't win a game because he doesn't know how to defend simples.
2.) 20 Sep 2025 19:31:35
Let's hope your right Arizona.
Today was a mixed bag. We did put a few nice moves together. However defensively we look one good ball away from being in trouble all game.
Obviously we missed Murrillo, but I am a bit concerned. With the strengthening we have done on the base of last seasons brilliant team. We should be beating, Burnley.
Two massive games coming up for different reasons.
Ange needs to get that W sooner rather than kater or the pressure will soon mount. I have my fingers crossed for him.
3.) 20 Sep 2025 20:26:29
Hooydonk strange thing with you skegs you and your oppo spent all coopers reign moaning about his ‘ park the bus “ tactics, then when nuno did it, it was ok, now you got a bloke trying to implement the style you wanted when cooper was in charge with basically a new squad, more possession, more attacking, now all of a sudden you don’t like it, what exactly do you want?
4.) 20 Sep 2025 20:39:17
We missed Aina too.
5.) 20 Sep 2025 20:42:27
Always admire you Arizona young man. take care ?.
6.) 20 Sep 2025 20:49:26
Hooydonk, I’m not saying I agree with the change, not at all. And with the ‘instant’ comment, all I meant was that when there is a new coach, instant results are expected.
7.) 20 Sep 2025 20:50:26
Good sensible post 67.
8.) 20 Sep 2025 21:48:35
I've always loved your posts Arizona and your upbeat outlook on things mate. I have also, personally, loved your support for me in the past when I've been doing stupid things to try to overcome the mental impact of my leg amputations.
For once, however, I'm going to challenge you. A hard-nosed comment, I know - but nowadays results are all that matter in football. Performances are quickly forgotten about, but results are etched in history.
The reality is that over our last two PL games, Forest can't beat two of the lower ranking clubs in the PL - including a 3-0 spanking at home. That's in addition to losing against a Championship side in the cup. After spending so much on new players, changing Manager (with no 'bounce-back' as most clubs get), little 'buzz' about our club from many supporters and (seemingly) players alike. Frankly, I'm finding it hard to remain positive about this season.
9.) 20 Sep 2025 23:18:26
Ange Postecoglu is Tottenham's most successful manager in 40 years. He took them to 5th in the league, won a European trophy and got them into the Champion's League.
They haven't had success like that in 40 years.
10.) 20 Sep 2025 23:31:59
Asia Title for Australia. Asian version of Champions League, loads of League titles in 3 continents, 5th in the Prem and a European Trophy.
What has Nuno won? The Saudi Super Cup, Saudi Championships and the 2nd division. That's your lot.
So an upgrade on Nuno is clearly in place. It might not work out, but Ange is no downgrade. Ange is a winner based on his record.
11.) 20 Sep 2025 23:50:12
Got to be honest cyclist i'm fairly excited by what I've seen so far, especially later in second half, patterns of play, counter pressing and committing players forward. Get the right player playing down the middle and we're almost there. Said from day one Jesus is that man. ?.
12.) 21 Sep 2025 06:19:57
Absolutely nothing wrong with being challenged Lego mate! Firstly though, thank you for your kind words!
In response to your post, I can’t argue with what you have written, but it kind of validates my point, that we want instant results whenever there is a change.
And I certainly agree that the ‘buzz’ has gone at the minute ( I don’t go to away games, so can’t comment on whether the buzz is still there away).
And hopefully, we will get some positive results etched in history very soon!
I still think we’ll be ok though ?
Take care buddy!
13.) 21 Sep 2025 06:22:29
And thanks Bowie mate. I hope you and the good lady are well and you’re enjoying your well deserved retirement sir!
09 Jan 2026 20:30:34
There’s no defending this performance. Just lumping it forward, not getting stuck in at all. It’s embarrassing. Tried to get behind SD, but I’m afraid he hasn’t a clue. Not sure what the game plan is, or even if there is one.
Half time team talk? “You’ve got 45 minutes to prove you deserve to be at this club” That includes the manager and his staff. This is awful it really is.
04 Jan 2026 17:33:02
That almost sounds like a Dave Allen sketch Rogie! Get well soon mate!
03 Jan 2026 16:36:20
Nuno did say he’d keep Forest up! ?.
31 Dec 2025 20:45:57
And a very happy new year to you Lego.
And Happy New Year to all on here, and happy new year to the Ed’s. You put up with so much!
From a Forest point of view, 2026 is certainly going to be interesting! Wouldn’t have it any other way!
I genuinely wish every one and their families and loved ones all the very best!
23 Dec 2025 21:43:49
Ah, cheers Lego mate.
