Fellow Reds. I've been digesting all of your recent posts about our club's current woes - which have been excellent to read. We certainly show passion on this site as loyal supporters which is brilliant! My take on this, for what it's worth, is that we've now had more than our say about the injustices that our club has suffered from. VAR and refereeing standards within the PL are now in the news. Questions are now being asked about the current system which go way beyond Forest now. In life, it does feel good to stand up for your rights against the system, be a 'rebel' and argue your cause. However, there is also a time to shut-up once you have created those 'waves' and let them take their course. I think we have now made our point as a club. I would now love to see us fight for our place in the PL on the field with pride, but also with dignity.

Well said Legless, good post mate. I agree, time to get stuck in on the pitch.

2.) 26 Apr 2024 23:04:18
Ira time for nuno to turn up and be the coach he's supposed to be?

To me He's one of life's moaners?
Arms crossed in the technical area with no sign of emotion?
When the defeat arrives?
It s never his fault?
Its down to referee's
Has anyone heard his name sung at the city ground?
He's a strange one for me.

3.) 26 Apr 2024 23:07:50
Well said, let the football do the talking now??after Man City, not looking forward to that.

4.) 27 Apr 2024 12:40:36
The biggest injustice by var was the disallowed goal by Coventry, that was a magic event for them taken away because of a toe cap. Football's biggest events being ruined with delays in decisions or turning a blind eye. ?.

I'm sure I'm not alone on this forum to have friends from all over the country who support other clubs making contact to, basically, take the p. out of Forest's current situation. The latest potential debacle being us squaring up to Sky / Neville. The really sad thing is that I can't defend our club whatsoever.

I actually agree with my mocking friends that our once great club has now become the laughing-stock of the PL. As Norfolk has wisely commented - what a waste of an opportunity our club has made in our promotion to the PL. And the ones that have to suffer this abuse of their loyalty, as usual, are the supporters.

I think the club has relegated itself with their outburst on Sunday. It's all got a bit out of hand really. Especially with the inferred slander. A bit embarrassing from the club. And the officials, mind.

2.) 23 Apr 2024 22:50:18
The club have every right to complain just a shame more teams haven't done it it's been a witch hunt on forest for as long as I can remember **** em you go maranakis.

3.) 23 Apr 2024 22:58:06
Id say if you read the statement after the game, it probably came from from marinakis son in a moment if anger
Unfortunately it will have big repercussions for the club
Shooting from the hip without thinking.

4.) 23 Apr 2024 23:50:34
Exactly Ff. It's wrong and it's embarrassing.
Complain by all means but not like a spoilt petulant child.

5.) 24 Apr 2024 00:14:56
But the essence of our problem Skegs is that, despite the crazy money we have spent, our players are not good enough and our management team throughout the club are woeful too. I expect that our great club will be relegated and remembered in the short term by other PL clubs as a whinging, bitter and twisted lot. Rightfully so.

6.) 24 Apr 2024 04:56:55
I can only speak of the 2 Merseyside clubs, VAR isn't fit for purpose and we've been shat on. They think we'll still stay up, just. Something needed to be said but maybe it could have been said better.

7.) 24 Apr 2024 08:14:12
Let's hope Liverpool (yes them! ) do us a favour for once. and TROUNCE them other cheating lot!

8.) 24 Apr 2024 09:00:27
It's a travesty we have been S£## upon we are a laughing stock but deep down a lot of clubs deep down agree with us but at the end of the day it's only football, off today to a funeral of a young friend who died younger than she should have get real people this time next week will be talking of something totally different going up from the championship or another will we stay up and who will be the next manager ??????.

9.) 24 Apr 2024 09:27:19
The this is Gazibaldi we are NOT "Spoilt"?
Spoilt indicates that we always get our own way. nothing could be further from the truth mate.

10.) 24 Apr 2024 10:09:21
I’m not embarrassed in the slightest, our club has had the guts to stand up and say what everyone outside the sky 6 clubs are thinking, from what I’ve seen on social media, the vast majority of ordinary fans support us, people are sick and tired of the incompetent/ corrupt refereeing, and decision making, if we go down, we go down sticking two fingers up to cheating and corruption, and i don’t see how that can be a bad thing,

11.) 24 Apr 2024 10:24:48
Good post Stevie spot on.

12.) 24 Apr 2024 10:59:20
In full agreement Stevie stand up to the Premier league bullies

Proud of you Forest??.

13.) 24 Apr 2024 11:40:00
I agree with you stevie, we are now the club with balls, now respected by other fans as the rebel club taking on the establishment, relegate us to league 2 if you like, but still have our morals and integrity, hate the premiership, been the worst season since Neil shipperley used to play up too for us.

14.) 24 Apr 2024 12:42:39
Bang on stevie, nothing to add to that ? ?.

15.) 24 Apr 2024 18:23:43
Agreed stevie son, bang on ?.

Evening Reds. I hope all those travelling to Scouseland tomorrow have a safe journey and a great day. Unfortunately, as Skegs, I will be armchair viewing again tomorrow. I wish I could be there with you! Fingers crossed for a good result.

I'm shocked. Not only by the crazy price increase on season cards, but more so that Sarah Clapson has actually written a reasoned article on the subject for the NP.

Any joy with your request for a ticket for the Chelsea game legless?

2.) 17 Apr 2024 21:50:58
It's only right that the season tickets go up, my TV licence has.

3.) 17 Apr 2024 23:25:04
I've been overtaken by events RV. I've been invited to a garden party at Buckingham Palace to represent my old Corps on 17th May - so, not being a very good traveller these days I can't do 2 weekends travelling to/ from Cornwall in a row. I suppose meeting the Royals should come first - just!

4.) 17 Apr 2024 23:36:15
I. d. i. o. t.

5.) 18 Apr 2024 10:38:59
That wasn't for you by the way Legless.

6.) 18 Apr 2024 13:00:49
Don't lie baldy ??.

7.) 18 Apr 2024 17:20:51
No worries Gazz. Must admit, I was wondering!

Firstly - I'd just like to say that I'm sad to see the likes of Bowie and Froggy become anti this site - I do hope they both return soon. We've all been reading their posts for a long time now and I hope we can continue to do so in the future. Secondly - 1 point is better than none. Chin-up fellas.

LeglessRed

1.) 13 Apr 2024 22:09:08

I agree with all those points Bowie, apart from no.3. More to do with playing out of their depth rather than playing out of position! Your comment no, 10 jumps out of the page at me though. Football, as a whole I feel, is losing the whole ethos and attraction that we all took to as kids - and losing many future supporters in the process. Very sad.

Disagree Skegs. Our club needs a massive injection of passion. Ex-players with management experience would bring a new lease of life I think.

I'm sensing that a 'King Billy and his Fortress' attitude is emerging here again. Just remember where that got us in the past.

As usual, wise words Stokey. I totally agree that football could learn a lot from other sports' rules, particularly from Rugby Union. As an aside - can you imagine Nigel Owens refereeing a football match in the PL?! "Come here young man. I've never met you before but if you appeal for a penalty again I will send you off. Do you understand me? ". That's what is needed from football refs! Players would soon come into line.

Good to have you back Bowie. I would love a new manager with passion and belief in our club - unlike Nuno. Not so sure that Vincent Company is the answer to our woes Pineapple. Either Clough or Psycho would be my ideal manager to take us forwards from wherever we end up next season.
