Can I ask everyone who are our strikers that should be start in the next match?
Awoyoni one goal - a rebound of his knee, 10 appearances for the reds. Has never really looked like scoring on other appearances

Surridge, Where is he? Injured? Loaned?

Miller a striker? Why did Watford sell him after only signing him in June 21? Never been a prolific striker

Johnson? not considered a striker yet has started up front recently and has scored two premier league goals

SC goes to the training ground everyday, watches all his players . If Awoyoni was knocking them in regularly in training he would start and equally so would Miller.

MGW and Linguard have each scored more than Miller in the last season . Johnson was our top goal scorer last season . So I am with SC in starting this trio. Midfield without doubt OBrien plus one other. To bring in 2/ 3 new central defenders who have never played together is a recipe for disaster .
Henderson must now despair at coming to Forest as he is seeing his England chances go down the Swanee.

Henderson isn't entirely without blame.
Should have done much better with at least 2 of the City goals, one went through his legs and one through his hands.
Even though his view was obscured Kane's shot trickled into the net with him rooted to his line and Billing's shot as good as it was could have been saved.
Not doubting he's a good keeper but he could have kept a few more out.

If Henderson's distribution is poor, he won't get the England gig anyway. Cooper needs to find the right pieces of the jigsaw for every game. I like his commitment to 'playing our way' but we are the newbies and teams are quickly sussing us out. As fans we want 'our own players' to succeed but this league takes no prisoners, so if they're not good enough, they shouldn't play. Even Brennan needs to develop his game to include the ugly stuff. We defend from the front and can't afford 'passengers'. Surridge needs to prove his worth at this level, something isn't right though. Was he told to go on loan and refused?
Awiniyi could be a Heskey type, needs to hold the ball up, win free kicks and take the pressure off the defence. I would prefer a 3-4-2-1 formation, MGW, Linguard and Brennan may impress on the training ground but against our defence? There's a team in there to compete with most PL sides, up to Coops to show he's still the man for the job. I sure we all want him to succeed.
