IF and it's a big IF Awoniyi can be turned round attitude and confidence wise we don't need to sign another striker imo
With Sangare and Danilo back it's like having two new players in the engine room

Only Wood CHO Elanga and Dominguez got minutes today so we should have a totally rested team against the scousers on Tuesday

Reading now that Santiago Gimenez now is open to joining Forest in January! That's very big of him! His reasons for messing us about in the summer was he didn't want to join a team facing a relegation battle! Says everything about the man's character imo
Move on Forest the man lacks character imo.

We could still be a relegation fight. If Anderson gets injured or we play like we did against Man City then who knows what could happen.
Its a tight league league this season and until we get to 40 points we cannot take our foot off the gas.

The guy earned the right to play for his current team in the Champions league, and if it were me I wouldn't have moved to any club not just Forest, if I've earned that right. Also there is not a fan here who expected our club to have progressed as quickly as they have, never mind players from all over Europe. Nobody here can say we don't need a goalscorer and lord knows they guy scores for fun. I'd welcome him with open arms to the CG. This is a business, lots of money involved. People are allowed to have a change of heart but maybe many here have never changed their minds over anything.

Good post Targa, though of course character and personality are inportant as well as football skill. We don t want any big time Charlies in our well motivated, tight knit squad. It only takes one bad apple…. but at the end of the day it’s a business and we trust our excellent recruitment team to do a job mate.

Thursday is bounce back night we need to bring our A game to the table and put Brentford to the sword.
With Yates Neco and probably Aina to come back in and our fighting spirit we showed in the second half we should brush them aside and go back to 3rd in the league.

For some reason Nuno will not start with Yates. It baffles me.

For some reason Nuno rates Domingues higher than Yates. All season Domingues has not impressed me. He is a weak link in midfield. Although the NEP says he has good relationship to Anderson, I can’t see that. Anderson is in a different league. Steve Hodge was quite damming re Nuno decisions. He pointed out how MGW was wasted on the wing against City in the first half. After Elanga came on, he was in the centre and we could all see what happened. You cannot criticize Nuno but sometime his decisions are baffling. Yes I felt we could have done better. If we do qualify for the Champions league, Nuno has to plot how to meat the Real Madrids and Bayern Munichs. All is possible you have to outthink your opposition. That is how Cloughie did so well.

Back home now and after the dust has now settled would have 3 observations from yesterday's match
1. Our fans were magnificent, there were more of us left in the ground half an hour after the final whistle than City had all match
2. Danilo and Dominguez along with Sangare need to be moved on as not Premier League standard
3. Nuno by bringing on Elanga for Danilo at half time was admitting he got his tactics wrong as we gave them too much respect and possession first half.

Not the first time Nuno has got the tactics wrong in the first half then has to adjust, Newcastle springs to mind, but to be fair his options yesterday was minimal. Out of the four semi finalist our squad is by far the weakest, once two or three players are out of the main team it shows, Exeter for example. We won't get a run of games like that again to get to the FA cup final, and it's a massive shame we couldn't put out our proper first team against cithe.
