Heard a strange rumour, now I've heard this same one from two different toon fans. So neves is off to saudi. Now when there they loan him to Newcastle, which keeps the toon fair play better the saudis pay his wages but the toon pay a loan fee? Don't get me wrong we probably do it with the olympiacos. But the whole thing stinks for me. Again just a rumour.

In the main, the Saudi league will be full of second-rate South Americans, greedy Africans and past-it Europeans, with one or two exceptions.
It was said in the 90's that the MLS would rock the football World, it was said in the 00's that China was going to buy all the World's best players. Now it's the Saudi's turn to fantasise about creating the World's number one league.
It will never, ever have the same gravitas as the big European leagues. It's just doesn't have the history or tradition and I doubt it ever will.
Wouldn't mind seeing Dennis move there for £20mil though. They can have Shelvey on a free too :)

As i messed up with loan to buy. i'm old school i still think players have there studs checked for aluminium. Before the get on the pitch. Can someone please explain (pay as you play) surely this isn't as it comes over. How much does a player get if they don't get a game ED could you enlighten me please ?

Pay to play gets mentioned a lot Bowie, but I honestly can't remember anyone being signed in the Prem (or anywhere) on this sort of deal for a long time now.
It was normally for players at the end of their career/ injury prone.

Yea, pay-as-you-play is a bit old fashioned but I think what people mean is, they'd prefer to see a player like Ramsey offered a performanced-based deal, rather than a high basic wage every week.
So instead of offering him £100k a week, you might offer £50k a week, plus bonuses for appearances, goals, and team wins etc. which might total £100k if he's playing and performing.
No one wants a croc on the books at £100k a week.

I think in Johnson and spence we have gold on our hands. I think, even if we fail to go up this season then Forest need to think bigger picture with holding on to Johnson and pushing the boat out to get spence. It’s around these two that building for the future will be massive for confidence and attracting the quality needed to maintain that big push.

What's your view on Thomas Frank at Tottenham ED001? Ourselves onto our 3rd manager this season. I don't know what it is with some managers. For me he was brilliant at Brentford. Only played himself as an amateur in midfield. I just think some managers, especially moving to London lose all respect from players.
Another manager I had a lot of respect for was David moyes, couldn't believe he let fergy talk him into the utd job. Know he's back now but legend at everton. I never shy from my respect of some managers/ players just be stubborn ignorance not to. i just think and understand some managers over rate themselves.
{Ed001's Note - I am not a big fan of Frank, his style of football is pure shithousery and you simply can't do that at Spuds, the fans won't stand for it. He has no idea how to play actual football. Very limited imo.}

Start with Victor, or should I call him victorious, brilliant young man, never easy for any keeper on such a big game, his 1st in premier. My position keep saying on here.
Reds, reds reds, murrilo I just love to watch murrilo, just how f kn calm he is and sees exactly what's going on at the back. What a player we have. Williams again worked his arse off. Cho I said two nights ago, how predictable he is, ?? and he is.
Done exactly what I said. But to presicion. Actually I was going to go through the team but, just proud of each and every one. Passing and passion unbelievable. Team spirit. sangare just my MOTM. he played as we know he can, dam going to miss him just no weakness, all I seen was a well thought out dyche amazing performance. FTID LUV YA REDS.

Amazing pass from ngw to set up that goal, touch of genius in my opinion. We played a lacklustre club. But battled. Good to see jesus gaining confidence. Reds I highlighted the two laddies, as we just look horrible attacking the final 3rd, cho still one trick pony but only works if the keeper palms it onto anyone right side of field. Dunno what's happened to anderson, just looks like his heads at another club or something. Keeper done ok John.
Btw I still rate sels for his confidence and agility not so much his passing but for you lot want the lot for some reason. Williams still works for the badge, sangare hasn't actually been that bad lately. I just remember, (anderson brought a different dimension, ) missing piece of a jigsaw, we need that injection from a newbie in the window. because ok we won. But for me, far too predictable players with no firing power or thought. FTID.

When brought in etc. Hence no consistency as in knowing where the player going to be for simple pass etc etc etc. Instead you get, a lot of individuals wondering, why me. Just my opinion.
