Heard a strange rumour, now I've heard this same one from two different toon fans. So neves is off to saudi. Now when there they loan him to Newcastle, which keeps the toon fair play better the saudis pay his wages but the toon pay a loan fee? Don't get me wrong we probably do it with the olympiacos. But the whole thing stinks for me. Again just a rumour.

In the main, the Saudi league will be full of second-rate South Americans, greedy Africans and past-it Europeans, with one or two exceptions.
It was said in the 90's that the MLS would rock the football World, it was said in the 00's that China was going to buy all the World's best players. Now it's the Saudi's turn to fantasise about creating the World's number one league.
It will never, ever have the same gravitas as the big European leagues. It's just doesn't have the history or tradition and I doubt it ever will.
Wouldn't mind seeing Dennis move there for £20mil though. They can have Shelvey on a free too :)

As i messed up with loan to buy. i'm old school i still think players have there studs checked for aluminium. Before the get on the pitch. Can someone please explain (pay as you play) surely this isn't as it comes over. How much does a player get if they don't get a game ED could you enlighten me please ?

Pay to play gets mentioned a lot Bowie, but I honestly can't remember anyone being signed in the Prem (or anywhere) on this sort of deal for a long time now.
It was normally for players at the end of their career/ injury prone.

Yea, pay-as-you-play is a bit old fashioned but I think what people mean is, they'd prefer to see a player like Ramsey offered a performanced-based deal, rather than a high basic wage every week.
So instead of offering him £100k a week, you might offer £50k a week, plus bonuses for appearances, goals, and team wins etc. which might total £100k if he's playing and performing.
No one wants a croc on the books at £100k a week.

I think in Johnson and spence we have gold on our hands. I think, even if we fail to go up this season then Forest need to think bigger picture with holding on to Johnson and pushing the boat out to get spence. It’s around these two that building for the future will be massive for confidence and attracting the quality needed to maintain that big push.

Ok will sum it up in my eyes,
There was no real teamwork today. And the little we did, every team has got us marked. Bang average and boring.
The amount of chances wasted around there goal area was a joke.
The amount of space we give to them attacking, again a joke.
Started 1st 25 minutes or so ok, looked like we wanted it more than them.
But what gets me is a season of hard slogging and togetherness.
Was lost to a f kn fester side ready for nothing but pi££ing us off.
Now nuno, brilliant season. But I don't know. Just been sussed and hit the wall, along with the players, posted we were paddling the other night, i
Again I'm happy with just european football, brings the coffers to beat ffp and the honest.

The owner has in the past had a big say in the side, who is playing and where. The playets coming into the club and who leaves. Nuno has to make do with that, and has made a moderate side with what he has.
Its not right to stage some kind of disagreement on the pitch, respect, and what impression does it give players leaving and looking to come here.
Nuno has and always had a basic way of presenting his side and how it plays. I know this as I was told prior to the semi final by an ex Man city player. Sure enough he gave the correct lowdown. As in the past I have bored this site with players who get brain disorders, but just to let you know my friends wife got an MBE along with Dawn Astle for getting dementia now called an industrial disease, and will be debated in parliament on futher recommendations.

He likes to be seen patting them on the back in the tunnel doesn't he?
I'm expecting Maranakis to make a statement, something along the lines of "Heat of the moment, wrong place wrong time. I got caught up in the moment" sort of thing. if he doesn't then their relationship is doomed.

I see nothing but passion from the laddie bordeaux, not like he needs the money, we know he's probably saying why keep sick note on. Ya know how much he's cost us in the past. We worked so hard all season for a team like fester to end our dreams. They were pee poor. We played as if we were knotted, wrapped up in each other's ideas yet crossing the wrong lines. Instead of a team of forward thinking and togetherness. Doesn't bother me either way as we are far from a champions league outfit. But very proud of our season. Wood ok scored but had many chances. Mgw as well as others need shooting practice big time. Good goal though. Reds we done brilliantly this season. Good foothold in the premier. Live with it.

His passion for our club Bowie is undoubted but his professionalism was sadly lacking for a man at the top - in my opinion. I just hope he or the club make a statement to clarify what went off and hopefully why.

The player of season has to be, between. Sels, aina, milencovic. Never been a season of forward fruitallity. Just sane. Togetherness. Loved the players enjoying and believing in each other. Sels got my vote but very hard. Probably because my old position. Aina been herculean running and dribbling amazing on right. Milenkovic, well just brought the defence to an amazing wall. And helping the younger lads how the game should be played. Just brilliant all three.

Closely followed by the Serbinater then Aina. ? And Murillo deserves a big shout out, all those blocks have saved us almost as many points as Sels.

It's been a season of heroes as a team, not as individuals reds, not many teams can do that in the premier, more than proud of our achievements, again not just from the coach/ players but backroom staff etc. Everything from low injuries, to for me one our best seasons under the eyes of officials. We've come on so far, defending from set pieces I've noticed particularly. I know sels been huge factor reds, but believe me the organisation is huge from coaching. Just proud, so proud. And huge shout to away fans who will always been amazing. Not saying home fans weren't. But bye we were never great away but fans still shouted there respect. Enjoy the weekend reds, luv em around ya. Never take em for granted. We all need an arm around us now n then. Just to show we are there ??.
