Heard a strange rumour, now I've heard this same one from two different toon fans. So neves is off to saudi. Now when there they loan him to Newcastle, which keeps the toon fair play better the saudis pay his wages but the toon pay a loan fee? Don't get me wrong we probably do it with the olympiacos. But the whole thing stinks for me. Again just a rumour.

1.) 28 Jun 2023 13:02:32
Bowie I hope the Saudi league takes off and shrinks the stinking money available to the premier league.

2.) 28 Jun 2023 16:50:11
Keep your head on Rutland…….

3.) 30 Jun 2023 15:47:02
In the main, the Saudi league will be full of second-rate South Americans, greedy Africans and past-it Europeans, with one or two exceptions.

It was said in the 90's that the MLS would rock the football World, it was said in the 00's that China was going to buy all the World's best players. Now it's the Saudi's turn to fantasise about creating the World's number one league.

It will never, ever have the same gravitas as the big European leagues. It's just doesn't have the history or tradition and I doubt it ever will.

Wouldn't mind seeing Dennis move there for £20mil though. They can have Shelvey on a free too :)

4.) 30 Jun 2023 18:58:36
Always love your posts wonky son, keep em coming. Your knowledge is unreal at times. i remember a while ago saying you were unfortunate not to be able to get to games. Hopefully the change will come my friend. And your music background wasn't too bad too. Take care for now. Rutters you can't have any complaints on your golf with the summer greens mate. Hope you've enjoyed this green and pleasant land which so many of us take for granted. ??.

6.) 02 Jul 2023 10:47:54

I called on rafa Benitez to be next forest manager. Just seen on forest site he's been talked about. ? told ya balloons ?

Bowiered3

1.) 05 Oct 2022 11:15:29
He wants Wolves not us sez it all.

26 Jul 2022 14:55:18
As i messed up with loan to buy. i'm old school i still think players have there studs checked for aluminium. Before the get on the pitch. Can someone please explain (pay as you play) surely this isn't as it comes over. How much does a player get if they don't get a game ED could you enlighten me please ?

Bowiered3

{Ed002's Note - Such contracts are rare and typical comprise a. a low base payment, b. an "availability" payment, c. an additional payment for being selected.}

1.) 27 Jul 2022 00:17:04
Pay to play gets mentioned a lot Bowie, but I honestly can't remember anyone being signed in the Prem (or anywhere) on this sort of deal for a long time now.

It was normally for players at the end of their career/ injury prone.

2.) 27 Jul 2022 10:39:16
Yea, pay-as-you-play is a bit old fashioned but I think what people mean is, they'd prefer to see a player like Ramsey offered a performanced-based deal, rather than a high basic wage every week.

So instead of offering him £100k a week, you might offer £50k a week, plus bonuses for appearances, goals, and team wins etc. which might total £100k if he's playing and performing.

No one wants a croc on the books at £100k a week.

Rumours on Newcastle wanting brennan for 50 million. Crazy not to . i know its only rumours but surely he's worth more than 20 mil.

Bowiered3

1.) 03 Apr 2022 17:18:04
Think it’s more that they want 50 miilion for maximon which would free up money for them to try and get Brennan. So not 50 million but would put the price up a certain amount 🤷🏻‍♂️.

2.) 04 Apr 2022 12:52:51
I think in Johnson and spence we have gold on our hands. I think, even if we fail to go up this season then Forest need to think bigger picture with holding on to Johnson and pushing the boat out to get spence. It’s around these two that building for the future will be massive for confidence and attracting the quality needed to maintain that big push.

3.) 14 Apr 2022 02:10:31
Without promotion we have zero chance of signing spence would need a bid of around 20 Mill we just don't have that money.

27 Jan 2022 08:28:48
Carvalho in for his medical today, good luck in the future, spending our cash.

Bowiered3

1.) 27 Jan 2022 18:24:03
I'm curious that we must have some attack minded players coming in as taylor and carvalho going out leaves us a little short if we pick up injuries and suspensions.

And so ta bed.
I'm a strange old tw#t as balloons bless him reminds me of my vodka fridays, ya know reds i worry more about the travelling more than the game at times. I really mean that from my heart. Especially london. I know the 70s are gone. Actually probably 80s. But knife crimes etc. Get what 3 yr and do half under the new labour. I really do just care.
I will blanket ya all in love on your travels.
Chelsea skinny tw#t up front take him out, believe in ourselves and defend. Tbh i think sels isn't as bad as most make out. Obviously agree pathetic positioning for goal. But seen better keepers making bigger mistakes. (Shilton england) just happens. But the lad made up in a few decent stops.
Trouble is with most of you lot is you always put us up far more than we should. Hence manager/ players every week to blame. Oh and as for officials munmad i actually agree, but and a big BUT i can't remember many VAR getting it right. Just tells me it's f kn bent as. Night reds. And again safe travels reds. Luv ya all ❤ COYR.

Immense yet again Bowie!

03 Oct 2024 23:50:44
I remember the old film with mike basset, jim royal, brilliant stuff. Humour we long for these days.
But we all know it was all based on Graham Taylor (not going to give him his nickname) as for me the lad didn't deserve it.
Real gentleman in real life apparently. And i don't even mind him with his arm around elton john. because as we all know his uncle scored the winner for us the last time we won the FA cup for us many moons ago. Still a cup very close to my heart btw. Generates lots of money for lower league clubs.
But anyway getting back. The film highlights how much the players let him down, remember taylor taking over from the iconic brian robson. And bye did the players let him down. And believe me the lad tried his best. So as the touchline brought on so much brilliance as much as comedy. The sorrow also followed. These words echo managers for me at times. Now don't get me wrong not agreeing with nunos sh1t set up Saturday gone. But we all know how so many players and there bitch fits etc get away with murder now. So yeah we've only been beat once this season. And 90% will agree nunos fault. But we just can't keep pointing the finger at the manager. Or refs and officials.
Chelsea away. I remember not too long ago I'd be bricking it. Am i now. Am i hell. And just to say again thanks big M your son and our hopes. COYR.

Bowiered3

1.) 04 Oct 2024 03:35:36
Mr M should realise he does not have the clout here as he does in Greece!, does him or the football club any good if he's prowling the tunnel like a angry Bear waiting for officials.

2.) 04 Oct 2024 07:13:03
90% agree Nuno got it wrong against Fulham mmmmm maybe is it 90% agree his performance this season to get 9 points so far we should give 100% credit for that and hope he's realised Awonyie is not ready to start a game.

3.) 04 Oct 2024 23:21:32
Just reading back and thank you all for not pointing out the obvious, i meant bobby robson, although brian was as a player. Who was nearly as iconic. Bobby what a legend.

02 Oct 2024 10:57:28
Wow and i mean wow.
Everything i kindly asked you reds to do backfired big style. No replies please on who knows best.
Sorry your leaving legless. Your charitable work was amazing bud. Take care for now sir. As for smoking ciggys i give them up after 52 yrs. Still vape now n then as it helps. As for drink though i do far too much tbh. Demons i think the excuse is. Ok reds take care for now ?.

Gotta be honest stevie f, i think potter would always put himself above us. Main reason he effed up big style at Chelsea. Just read his autobiography potter and the the forest philosophers stoned (calm down big lad) only jesting. But with big M as an owner. Doesn't give him much, not just to play with. FFP but the greeks got to worse trigger finger than a tarantino film. Again reds. Yes i hated the lay out for a home game. And our home games or the hogwarts fortress. Couldn't play quiditch, or whatever it's pronounced. But saying that myself like a lot of ya have had enough of the merry go round. I know nuno done wrong. But as i keep saying the only hope of a goal is wood. The rest have been sussed in there party tricks. ? luv ya all. And please plz reds keep it simple not jumping at each others throats.

Bowiered3

1.) 29 Sep 2024 19:02:24
Nbodys jumping at anybody's throats Bowie the nuno out gang are just making themselves look daft I'm quite happy to leave them to it it's entertaining, ?.

2.) 29 Sep 2024 19:06:59
Bowie after the Chelsea episode, none of the top 6 will dare appoint him, unless he goes back abroad where’s he going to go?

3.) 29 Sep 2024 19:14:03
There's only Mr saying nuno out skeggs
Nobody else has actually said that except me
Alot not happy but they haven't actually asked him to be sacked unlike me.

4.) 29 Sep 2024 19:28:47
I've always admired your courage in your convictions, DTP. Goalkeeper, Manager etc - maybe you're right and the rest of us are wrong. I guess we will see in the near future mate!

As I've said before, I have no doubts about our goalkeeping situation, but I am starting to have doubts about Nuno. I think at this level, you can't afford to throw away half a game on an 'experiment' - which he is prone to do.

5.) 29 Sep 2024 19:46:34
It's the recruitment team at Brighton that's excellent, when Potter left and they sold players, they got similar standard or better and there league position improved.

6.) 29 Sep 2024 21:01:26
Also I'm happy saying nuno out. It's about the facts .
27% win ratio for starters. Yesterday was the final straw for me if there was ever any doubt in my mind.

7.) 29 Sep 2024 21:24:08
Legless, I just try to talk forest and football. I only look at what I have to watch as a paying supporter to make my observations. I say what I feel from what I see.

8.) 29 Sep 2024 21:37:47
And whilst I don't agree with you most of the time DTP - I do admire you for that. I get the sense that you speak from the heart and I like that.

9.) 29 Sep 2024 21:42:23
Red Vespa well potter must have done plenty right for Chelsea to come calling,

10.) 29 Sep 2024 22:29:46
Legless Steve Cooper first season in premier 30 home points and beat Liverpool, arsenal and drew with City
Some are trying to tell me that nuno has done better?
Really?
Someone back that up with results please?
Cus you can't
While I agree it was time for Cooper to go, it's a disaster of our home form since and you can't argue my facts and that's why I want nuno gone
It's better away but far worse at home and no end product.

11.) 29 Sep 2024 22:47:48
Yes but they soon got rid Stevie F, Maresca is showing how it should be done in a harder situation than Potter, Maresca had to get a team sorted from about 70 odd players. It will be interesting when Potter deems a managers vacancy is up to his standards, after all he's achieved!.

12.) 30 Sep 2024 09:09:12
Vespa, he got off to a lousy start also at Chelsea, you said potter had a great recruitment team at Brighton, that may be so, but you still got to make a team of the recruits, which potter did, still he’d never come here because scousered obviously has the inside track on him,

13.) 30 Sep 2024 09:42:29
Vespa, and by the way Leeds soon got shut of clough 44 days, did that make him a bad manager?

14.) 30 Sep 2024 13:14:18
No Stevie F far from it, Clough was a great manager, just without the calming influence of Taylor he could make wrong decisions, and they had both won something before he went to Leeds. In a article Potter was saying he likes the day to day involvement with a club rather than as a international manager, should really wait to be asked first. He's either super confident or has a massive ego, at the moment he's being linked with man utd job, he may be a great success, but he won't find out until he excepts a job.

15.) 30 Sep 2024 13:15:00
Bielsa for me high speed possession football and think we have the players to do that and he's a dodgy sod so think he'd be a good match for me m ?.

16.) 30 Sep 2024 13:24:10
Bielsa for me fast paced possession football and we have the squad to play that way.

17.) 30 Sep 2024 17:02:40
What about Steve Bruce skegs. Loads of experience ?.

18.) 30 Sep 2024 18:39:13
Vespa Man U would surely be very wary of appointing a bloke already bombed out of a “top 6 “ club, I’ll think they’ll try to get a proven European coach,

19.) 01 Oct 2024 07:59:05
Balloons mate, Steve Bruce is yesterday’s man and besides, as the Stoke fans used to sing ? Steve Bruce, he’s got a big fat head ?….
I’ve always been an admirer of Bielsa but you would need a much bigger squad to cover for fatigue and injuries caused by
the pace, vigour and energy required for his style of play ( and in training). Great manager though with some of Cloughies eccentricities ( like taking bugs million quid players around clubs and getting them to work in the canteens and offices to show them how lucky they are and how their efforts impact on the “Common People”. ??.

28 Sep 2024 16:58:55
Reminded me of my junior days, teacher saying go out there and spread out. I'm off for a smoke. Just woeful tactics.

Bowiered3

1.) 28 Sep 2024 17:04:24
Again our only hope is wood for a goal. We are at home. For cloughs sake. Just no idea final 3rd, the smiler for me just brings nothing to the table. Ya can tell he doesn't wanna be here.

2.) 28 Sep 2024 17:31:37
Same. Think we need to offload in Jan Bowie mate.
Play Sosa up front instead of Awoniyi.

3.) 28 Sep 2024 17:32:25
We could have sent out a positive team to attack, unfortunately it was more important not to concede. I hope Nuno admits he got the team and tactics wrong other wise it's going to be a long season!.

4.) 28 Sep 2024 17:56:03
I also agree with you on aina chim mate. F kn usless. And ya know reds I'm sick and tired of players in this league going down like a piece of s##t. VAR probably the worst thing ever invented apart from showing sheep football. Just livid. As balloons text me imagine travelling to that game and staying over etc. Money to watch a yawn fest. Just wrong.

5.) 28 Sep 2024 18:44:33
Nothing to do with the players everything to do with the manager making wrong choices yet again.

6.) 28 Sep 2024 19:50:16
Disagree. 11 v 11 every game. If you don't win your battles, you deserve to lose. No 'give me's' in this league. Anyone calling for Nuno? Give ya head a wobble.

7.) 28 Sep 2024 20:06:51
Awoniyi? There is a player, not 100% sure what's going on. Aina? Wow, give the man a break. MOM against Salah and now you're all calling him out? Bizarre. Reds, lower your expectations. We are where we are. Yes frustrated but there's always Derby, if you're desperate. FTID.

8.) 28 Sep 2024 20:45:46
Now now scouse easy tiger. Just venting frustration. As you are bud ?.

9.) 29 Sep 2024 03:46:34
Agreed Bowie. ?.
