Bowie I read back my posts and I don’t regret any single one of them, I’ve disagreed with people, tried to talk football, which seems alien to one or two, defended Brennan Johnson, against a dismal personal attack, failing that, what else are we supposed to talk about, ? If you get 15 or 20 blokes in a room, are they all going to agree all the time, ? I think skegs and balloons are serial moaners, they think I’m a happy clapper, I’ll get over it, and so will they, no doubt, no big deal really.

I don't put much on this site, in fact not much anywhere. But honestly some of us should actually read and then read again what you have written. 6 months down the line you would swear that you never wrote that. There's a fine line between sarcasm and wit, I have myself looked at stuff and apologise for my clumsy narratives. Bowie tried to be peace maker but at times he is not a magician.

Jeez this is a banter site. It needs controversies, happy clappers and knowledgeable input. IT would be crap without the likes of balloons. It takes all sorts so read and reply. I do a lot of reading but choose when and how to reply these days, but i prefer it when there’s football to talk about. On the Johnson scenario it’s clear he went for the money, who wouldn’t? I also believe the club would have pushed for this move to facilitate other purchases. There is no such thing as loyalty these days. Loyalty only exits if the monies equal.

Rogie, I love many films, my favourites are comedies. But I can not give ten films, but if I change channels and these films are on, I watch them again and again. And I have seen them many, many times.
The Searchers, just great, watched it a few days ago, I think the best film John Wayne made.

Goodfellows, just fantastic, a moral fable, all the bad guys get there com-uppence. And the one take long shot where Liotta and his girlfriend get out the taxi, walk threw the kitchen to the stage is great, watched it many times on u- tube. The music is Great and there's so many parts of the film I could have used, just great. After Nottingham Forest I love films, and anything comedy. I watch new comedy and it must be a age thing but I don't get it!. Thank your gods ( Dave Allen) for Stokey always makes me laugh, and new material!

Come on guys the season starts after this international break. And it's exciting, Elanga scored, but he did a few tricks in the Chelsea box, he tried for goal, and a pass may have been the better option, but you can see, when the ball goes to him, the supporters will expect something special to happen. Burnley won't know what will hit them!
