Well done Forest and Chris on the win yesterday, great to get 3 points on the board.

Scrappy first half and couldn't put the final pass together but nice to see the ball being moved quicker.

Figs and Mckenna looked a really solid partnership and the rest of the defence did well.

2nd half we got more confident and looked by far the better team and think we deserved the win.

1.) 18 Oct 2020 11:28:03
Fair assessment gingerkid.
Hopefully that will give the team confidence to push on.
Be nice to put another nail in the sheeps coffin on friday.

2.) 18 Oct 2020 13:33:43
Great win yesterday, Grabben no captain, should only be concentrating on scoring goals. I think bring player's to the club past there best, should stop. Dawson, colbeck, five years ago yes. At training the younger players must look around and think there in the cast of Last of the Summer Wine! .

3.) 18 Oct 2020 13:37:33
It shows what can be done in about two weeks. They can only get better 👍 happy days.

4.) 18 Oct 2020 13:39:50
I’m very glad to see figs back in looking confident, lamouchi had destroyed the confidence of a few players I’m afraid.

5.) 18 Oct 2020 13:45:54
It's going to take Chris quite a while to find the best 11 from a squad of 30 odd. A little patience is needed while he wades his way through the scatter gun transfer approach.
Look on the bright side lads this time yesterday we were 13pts off the top, now we're 10. Slowly slowly catch a monkey.

23 Jul 2020 09:34:22
As bitterly disappointing as last night was, and you can say what you like about the players and the manager, we have still had the best season we have had for years.

It cracks me up to see the told you so brigade coming out of the woodwork.

You don't finish top 8 in the Champ with a crap team or a crap manager. There have been some poor games this season but also some cracking games, Leeds at home springs to mind.

Stick with Lamouchi imo and let him build.

Looking forwards to next season already, hope we can hold on to our best players.

1.) 23 Jul 2020 10:00:50
Best players are you for real a team of chokers at best.

2.) 23 Jul 2020 10:05:12
Ginger that’s the problem we won’t hold on to our better players, we will be starting from scratch .

3.) 23 Jul 2020 10:20:01
We weren’t exactly attacking vs Leeds were we we scored an soaked up pressure then hit them on the counter to win 2-0 the best game this season at home was the 2nd half v Luton that’s it.

4.) 23 Jul 2020 10:32:14
Ginger your posts are strange. Best season in years? Based on what? The footballs been turgid and i cannot think of many CRACKING GAMES. SL made stupid subs, played kids who are just not up to it. If yates is our midfield dynamo then we are poor. Our team lacks goals and cannot defend. We were lucky in many ways and the fact there was dross teams around this league is the reason we finnished so high up. I just cannot see the optimism for the future like you do. We flattered to deceive. The quality in players in the top two are light years ahead of us, both in ability and attitude. Again many of our so called better players ever were given a run in the team, why?

5.) 23 Jul 2020 10:33:07
Let’s look at some play off facts ; Derby have been in the play offs 8x, twice and in the finals most recently last year. Leeds were in the play offs last year but prior to that it was 2006 . The last time we reached the playoffs were 2011! What I am saying is 7th is still a big plus and a forward who scored 20 goals in a season If the team learn from their mistakes and move on as Leeds did we will do better . Patently the team was not ready for the premier league and all of us could see that . It is the next steps we take, the players we sign, the issue of the right manager. Have we got to 7th because of the players or the manager.

6.) 23 Jul 2020 10:45:42
Almost every game we've won it's always been holding on at the end. We also had a few really lucky 1-0 wins at home. My worry now is that we've been found out so the away form will dwindle away whilst we still don't know how to dominate matches on home soil.

7.) 23 Jul 2020 11:01:46
lol, moan moan moan.

This season has made a nice change from a relegation scrap or mid table mediocracy or was that better than this season?

This is the first season in years we have finished one with the same manager and some people want to jump back on that merry go round again already. Do we not learn anything?

We have played to what strengths we have this season and done well, let us see who we can keep and what we can bring in for next season.

Last night was of course a monumental screw up but it has happened, but it shouldn't be all doom and gloom going forwards.

8.) 23 Jul 2020 11:07:30
Rutland, I guess you would base your seasons success/ failure on your final league position, so best season in years for us.

I do feel sorry for those who have such a bleak and negative outlook on everything.

I get it people are angry and disappointed but come on.

9.) 23 Jul 2020 11:21:46
Rutland as that your word of the week ' turgid' 😅😅😅.

10.) 23 Jul 2020 12:42:13
Gingerkid think other mangers sussed out our tactics for the second half of the season.
They just let us have the ball and hit us with sucker punches when we committed forward.
They basically worked out we were toothless in front of goal and would not hurt them playing out from the back.
I'll agree it is an improvement, but to fail at the last hurdle with the odds stacked in our favour is unforgivable.

11.) 23 Jul 2020 12:46:21
Clough TURGID somes us up
Ginger, lamouchi brought walker back from lincoln, controvercially, and never played him. Personally i don't think walker was the answer but come on! Sl seemed to know only one way, set up to defend and chuck Grabban up front to run around, not his game. The crock purchases contimued and we, not once learned from our mistakes. Sorry to be harsh but these are harsh facts. Anywhere outside the top 6 is nowhere and you cannot take any positives from this failure.
Personally i don't care which league we play in as long as we play some decent football score some goals and live within our means. Do you think the players will trust SL going forward. If the treatment of oneil is a yardstick then that will be a resounding no.

12.) 23 Jul 2020 12:52:16
Ginger I’ve been quite upbeat going into the play offs, but please don’t kid yourself there are any positives about the end to this season, last nights pathetic implosion could have far reaching financial implications for the club, with fans not being able to attend early season, the club will be honour bound to offer money back on season tickets, and I believe there will be a big take up, these people are not just fans they’re customers. The product year after year falls below the standard hoped for. And people will only be conned for so long, our brighter young players will leave, the established championship players probably too, and we will be left with the dross, I believe the feeling after the relegation game against Ipswich did leave some sort of feel good factor around for the following season this dismal end leaves nothing but recriminations and disappointment, not many I have spoken to are looking forward to next season because we finished 7 th this time, most I have spoken to have had enough, and by the way sabri shouldn’t have to wait to be sacked, he should have tendered his resignation on the final whistle, you ‘ take all the positives ‘ you like, but not many others are seeing them I can assure you of that.

13.) 23 Jul 2020 13:28:08
Good post stevie.
Me and most of my mates want a refund, not so much because of our implosion as you put but purely from the point you can't go or enjoy a pint in a pub.
I won't have a season ticket till life gets back to normal whenever that is and i certainly would not waste good money on i follow.

14.) 23 Jul 2020 14:16:05
Steve, this is an improvement on any of our recent seasons, fact. As I have said, its was a monumental screw up last night and the last few games to be honest, but it has happened and we have to get over it.

There are always positives to be taken and lessons to be learnt. Lamouchi has done a good job this season and I think we will be better next season.

If you want to sulk with your mates or if they don't want to go to anymore matches then good luck them and you. But I bet they do some back.

25 Aug 2019 12:27:09
Great win yesterday, superb team goal for the first and calmly well taken finish for the 2nd. I'm sure Grabban dedicates both of those to you Arran as we know your his number one fan.

Great to see this team proving so many people wrong with the doubters writing them off before we had even kicked a first ball of the season.

Hope they can keep this up and avoid injuries to keep the foremoaners quiet. It's the same players we had before the season started so I wonder what has changed:) Long ways to go yet but Lamouchi seems to have them playing as a team in quite a short space of time.

1.) 25 Aug 2019 13:41:25
Early days ginger but he has the right idea and a lot of players we've signed over the last twelve months don't look like getting a game.
Like the way he's sticking to his first choice side, with a back four of English players that understand the championship, never thought he'd do that and probably you didn't either, he seems to be getting the best out of this bunch.
My only fear is if grabban gets injured we are so lightweight in strikers.

2.) 25 Aug 2019 13:47:08
The only thing that’s been proven so far is that we aren’t any worse off for starting over again, personally I’m relieved by that as it seemed a gamble.
2 excellent performance and 4 very poor ones so far means that all opinions are equally as valid. I was less positive in June 19 than I was in June 18 but no equally as positive about the season in Aug 19 as I was in Aug 18.

3.) 25 Aug 2019 13:48:19
Ps totally agree with you on Grabban, I feel as exciting by his new lease of life as I did when we signed him. I’d love to see him notch 25.

4.) 25 Aug 2019 14:03:51
2star sorry mate can’t agree with your 4’very poor performances ‘ I think a point at Leeds who are flying and a charlton side who might surprise a few are excellent performances, there’s an old saying in golf ‘ not how but how many ‘ a46games championship is all about getting results,

5.) 25 Aug 2019 15:33:27
Fair enough pal.

6.) 25 Aug 2019 17:40:54
Lol stevie f if you couldn't see that first half performance was bad against Charlton then you need to take them rose tinted glasses off it was terrible and that's what we call and his a happy clapper.

7.) 25 Aug 2019 18:42:38
Yea course I’m not his biggest fan haha clearly haven’t been reading all my comments, I don’t know u comment on someone’s individual performance and get slated for the rest of the season, well done Grabban here’s to u getting over 20 goals this year and taking us up 🍻.

8.) 25 Aug 2019 19:02:06
Skegs mate it’s lucky that games are played over 90 mins of course the 1st half against charlton wasn’t good but over the 90 mins I thought we deserved our point and could have even nicked it, it’s surely about picking up points and keeping ourselves around the top six, think that’s the 1st time I’ve been called a happy clapper lol.

9.) 25 Aug 2019 20:48:26
It won't be the last if you think some games were good performances were doing well I want this to carry on like every fan but you get the well done when your playing well and you get the crap when you ain't in all walks of life.

10.) 25 Aug 2019 20:53:25
It’s good isn’t it stevie being called a happy clapper. Keep up the good faith! next you’ll be thinking we are the dark horses in the league 😂.

11.) 25 Aug 2019 21:30:32
Skegs I think you go back a long way as a forest fan, think back to some of those away wins under bc the possession stats wouldn’t have looked great in some of those, the 2nd euro cup final win, I doubt we had 25%possesion in that it’s about getting the job done at the moment, and I see some green shoots here, we need to get out quicker On the break, and I hope that is being worked on, I agreed and sided with your views a lot in the past so don’t pidgeon hole me as a happy clapper just yet mate lol.

12.) 25 Aug 2019 21:32:23
Redtree steady on mate! LoL.

13.) 25 Aug 2019 21:32:47
Redtree 😏🤔🙄🙄 I'm bored.

14.) 25 Aug 2019 21:36:29
Stevie, its great being a happy clapper. Club doing really well on and off the pitch. a lot of positives to be happy with.

meanwhile the fore moaners are very unhappy about their predictions of disaster going wrong, manager being sacked, owner unhappy, squad too big, signings being rubbish and an ensuing relegation battle, oh and now a poor 45 minutes in a game away from home which we drew. ha ha I know which I prefer to be.

15.) 25 Aug 2019 23:41:51
Happy Clapper?
Why be bothered?
Your just giving an opinion and that's what matters. 🤔🤔🤔.

16.) 26 Aug 2019 01:47:39
Ff79 not really bothered just having a laugh mate.

17.) 26 Aug 2019 09:39:38
Sorry stevie no disrespect mate one day I might become one lol and 79 is right there all opinions everyone will have one whether we like it or not it would be a damn boring site if we all had the same one anyway as long as we keep playing like we did against Fulham I don't give a crap what anyone calls me lol on to the sheep I know we could do without it but it always feels good beating them 😁.

18.) 26 Aug 2019 10:17:15
Skegs eh mate no probs, I think you’ll find I agree with you more than I disagree, just have a feeling for once we might be moving in the right direction, it’s about time this club had a bit of luck as well, it could of course be another false dawn let’s hope not this time, think we desperately need Dawson to stay fit, a real leader andquality defender, and Worrall looks a different man alongside him, as for the sheep game I’d change all 11, it’s nice to beat them but Saturday is more important.

06 Mar 2018 21:42:29
Good away point, well done Forest, clean sheet too, good stuff.

28 Jan 2018 15:59:27
Well done Cummings on your goal for the Gers today, came on as a late sub to spark a mini pitch invasion:) .

1.) 28 Jan 2018 16:03:24
Agreed Ginge but remember they are playing Ross County in a village called Dingwall. I've been there, its about the size of Southwell.

2.) 28 Jan 2018 16:48:51
Question is whose decision was it to let him go ? Brazil’s opinion may have been sought . If so I wonder what got said ?

3.) 28 Jan 2018 16:54:16
Pleased for cummings but that football was non league stuff lol

4.) 28 Jan 2018 17:06:47
Well done Cummings you will be back soon when Karanka realises the mistake he’s made letting you go 😃

5.) 28 Jan 2018 17:49:47
Yep couldn’t agree more, we should let all of our players have a bash under a good manager before we judge them on their performances playing for MW. Seems strange to let him go before giving him a shot, that’s why I wonder if someone else made the call.

6.) 28 Jan 2018 18:01:24
Someone at the club as a lot more clout than he should have ,so l,ve heard!
The Yates,Ariboyi,Cummings decisions were obviously not made by AK he dosen,t hardly know them.

7.) 28 Jan 2018 18:23:08
Who was that Carlo fawaz 😀

8.) 28 Jan 2018 18:34:45
No,but he knows him well.

9.) 28 Jan 2018 19:45:22
Carlo whoever made the decision on those 3 was spot on they are not ready for Championship football in a struggling side!

10.) 28 Jan 2018 20:06:09
A good friend of mine who is a notts fan said brazil sent ryan yates to scunthorpe out of spite at the way they treated brazil while at notts yates wanted to stay at notts but had to leave but has yet to play for them 😕my mate was told this by a good notts insider

11.) 28 Jan 2018 20:10:52
Brazil , you are my hero. I hope they give you the keys to the city. If you’d have done the same with JG I’d have come and built a statue with my own hands next to the great the BC!

12.) 28 Jan 2018 20:35:39
Too me sounds like he wants to stay up north if that's the case then see ya later pal. I understand he was frustrated here but 6 months plus shows if he does wanna stay he has no ambition to better himself in a better league. Look at Celtic romping the league Rangers a poor shadow of there past selves not fit too lace Celtics boots but still have romped all over 2nd place Aberdeen 3 times. Still I hope that's not the case and the lad comes bak full of confidence but somehow doubt it.

13.) 29 Jan 2018 09:53:41
If those three aren,t ready for championship football neither are several who are in the side at present !
PS How many times have you seen the players in question?

Pascal, I agree, I genuinely feel some people are just miserable and come on here to vent, tough times right now.

It's always a conspiracy on here according to some and they are very quick to blame people when they don't have the facts.

It does get tiresome, move over Hollyoaks, there is plenty of made up drama on here.

Very doubtful we have, it would be announced like Knockaert was.

Sadly, anyone can post on Wikipedia.

People were moaning before he had even had his first day in charge, is that realistic?

Have you considered Chris may have only wanted to sign a 1 year contract?

It's always the owners fault on here.

The guy has ploughed shed loads of money in when no-one else would and people seem to get off on knocking him at every opportunity.

If he were to drop and go we would be in big trouble. Let us hope we have the right manager and we are headed in the right direction.

FFS Monty, you've started it already.

He is a quality manager and has results in getting teams out of the league. Comes across as a real nice guy too.

Welcome Chris, good luck fella, hope you get us climbing the table.

Remember Hughton joined at the start of October and inherited this team, a team that had no spirit at all when he joined and is trying to turn things around.

Well Johnson never played/ trained under Hughton Red as Chris didn't join until after he had already moved to Lincoln on loan. He must have been referring to Lamouchi?

I cringed when I saw his name on the team sheet, he always plays well against us, very good player.

Yeah, saw the Rog, really pleased for him, great to see him forging a career in management at Forest.
