Always read this site but never post. Todays postponement of the takeover is yet another nail in the coffin of my relationship with the club. From the age of 10 until I was in my 40's I was a season ticket holder, lived and breathed Forest. Home and Away, contributing to The Brian Fanzine (I was the one on the corner of Trent Bridge selling them for years) . I eventually had the desire to watch Forest knocked out of me by Megson and I stopped coming to games. I now make 1 or 2 a season but last year was the first season that I didn't go to a single game since 1975 but still I read the websites, pore over the Evening Post and listen to Radio Nottingham hoping that one day I will be tempted back to the City Ground. Todays postponement moves that day ever further away. I feel incredibly sad, the flame is barely there but could be fanned into life once more. I don't know what point I am trying to make just trying for some Cathartic Release. I love Forest and just want a team to be proud of, to make my heart pump, to make me smile. I don't yearn for the Premier League, I don't like the Premier League, I just want to feel what I first felt when I came through the turnstile to watch a 0-0 draw with Peterborough in the rain

I've given Fawaz the benefit of the doubt often in the past however you just can't make this up anymore. To be fair campervanbob, it's not the club that you should give up on. Forest will always be forest and we will always be the mighty reds. It's the turkey of a owner. Here's to hoping it all gets done pronto.

You paint a very realistic picture for a lot of suuffering reds campervan bob. I took my new wife to the leeds match last season and although we walk in from the bridgford side of the city, i took her over trent bridge so she could walk back again to see the setting of the city ground by the trent. Which was my first view when i first went. She was amazed i still get a lump in my throat when i see the city ground. Oh how i hope for a better future even if it means taking a few steps back to take one forward!

What I can't understand is the apparent delay is down to revisions in the takeover? Forgive my scepticism but wouldn't all of the details been laid out and agreed by both parties legal teams already. Today was supposed to be the day when it was announced after all. As there is nobody at the club to tell anyone what's going on we are left guessing and if truthful, fearing the worst.

I will never give up totally on the club, tonight I will play 5-a-side wearing my Forest Shorts and Socks, on a recent holiday abroad I wore my European Cup Winners Shirt, My Grandpa played over 300 times for Forest . they are in my blood, my DNA . this only makes the sadness of our predicament so acute. One day I will return, One day we will have a team to make us smile, one day.
