Just been looking at the Stats and Forest are on 35 points after 30 games . last year after 30 games we were on 36 . should we worry?

No worries bob we’re a work in progress ☝️😀

2.) 05 Feb 2018 13:11:12
If we lose against Hull on Saturday I'd be very worried.
If we beat them we'll have a nice cushion again.

3.) 05 Feb 2018 14:38:44
We will

4.) 05 Feb 2018 15:09:33
We be alright Fred no worries we might even make play offs we have the chosen ☝️

5.) 05 Feb 2018 17:35:26
That's flippancy, I recognize that.😀

6.) 05 Feb 2018 19:59:26
Very important game saturday. 6pt gap or 12? Need these new boys to hit the ground running. Do you think Fig will replace Manc?

7.) 05 Feb 2018 23:38:47
Next 5 games are huge all against teams below or just above us, if we pick a good amount of points (say 10-15) up we will be safe if not we will be in a battle.

This may seem extreme to many of you but I would be happy if the club went bang and we had to start from scratch in the non leagues and work our way up.

Think you're in shock mate

2.) 18 Jan 2017 15:17:07
Just disillusioned with how Football is run. If we started from scratch with people who actually care about the club. If we get rid of Fawaz then it will only go to someone else with no connection to Nottingham on an ego trip who will one day get bored and want out No one with half a brain would buy a Football Club thinking that they would make money

3.) 18 Jan 2017 15:47:50
No way Camper van, we'll come through this. however if we did start again, do we call ourselves Nottingham Meadow?

4.) 18 Jan 2017 16:28:21
Think you've been playing too much Championship Manager Bob.

Always read this site but never post. Todays postponement of the takeover is yet another nail in the coffin of my relationship with the club. From the age of 10 until I was in my 40's I was a season ticket holder, lived and breathed Forest. Home and Away, contributing to The Brian Fanzine (I was the one on the corner of Trent Bridge selling them for years) . I eventually had the desire to watch Forest knocked out of me by Megson and I stopped coming to games. I now make 1 or 2 a season but last year was the first season that I didn't go to a single game since 1975 but still I read the websites, pore over the Evening Post and listen to Radio Nottingham hoping that one day I will be tempted back to the City Ground. Todays postponement moves that day ever further away. I feel incredibly sad, the flame is barely there but could be fanned into life once more. I don't know what point I am trying to make just trying for some Cathartic Release. I love Forest and just want a team to be proud of, to make my heart pump, to make me smile. I don't yearn for the Premier League, I don't like the Premier League, I just want to feel what I first felt when I came through the turnstile to watch a 0-0 draw with Peterborough in the rain

well said campervan bob - a view of many i'm afraid, sad times but we need to try to stick with it.

2.) 10 Jan 2017 11:49:02
I've given Fawaz the benefit of the doubt often in the past however you just can't make this up anymore. To be fair campervanbob, it's not the club that you should give up on. Forest will always be forest and we will always be the mighty reds. It's the turkey of a owner. Here's to hoping it all gets done pronto.

3.) 10 Jan 2017 11:55:33
You paint a very realistic picture for a lot of suuffering reds campervan bob. I took my new wife to the leeds match last season and although we walk in from the bridgford side of the city, i took her over trent bridge so she could walk back again to see the setting of the city ground by the trent. Which was my first view when i first went. She was amazed i still get a lump in my throat when i see the city ground. Oh how i hope for a better future even if it means taking a few steps back to take one forward!

4.) 10 Jan 2017 13:07:25
What I can't understand is the apparent delay is down to revisions in the takeover? Forgive my scepticism but wouldn't all of the details been laid out and agreed by both parties legal teams already. Today was supposed to be the day when it was announced after all. As there is nobody at the club to tell anyone what's going on we are left guessing and if truthful, fearing the worst.

5.) 10 Jan 2017 14:27:41
I will never give up totally on the club, tonight I will play 5-a-side wearing my Forest Shorts and Socks, on a recent holiday abroad I wore my European Cup Winners Shirt, My Grandpa played over 300 times for Forest . they are in my blood, my DNA . this only makes the sadness of our predicament so acute. One day I will return, One day we will have a team to make us smile, one day.

I understand the reasoning behind playing the ball out from the back (If you hoof it then the vast majority of the time the ball goes to the opposition) but can we just play it forward quicker from the back in the same way that Liverpool do? 3 passes out and the ball should not be near the Penalty Area it should be near the half way line (unless we are playing against Beckham then it is doubtful that the opponents can shoot from there)

If you look back at the letter that the new Chairman sent to supports he did state that the club would have to make some very difficult decisions, this is a difficult decision that was taken out of the clubs hands by a greedy agent spotting a pay day. I cannot believe that any of our other players will now leave and we need to trim the deadwood and sign a small number of quality players. We should now be in a position to do this. We don't want wholesale changes to the squad as players take time to settle in to new surroundings and teams that get promotion have settled squads not a raft of new players.

The players that we have can hit the ground running and play the style that MW wants. That should be enough to get us over mid table which, to me, is all we can hope for this season.

As long as Warburton assembles a team that plays his preferred passing style of play and we stay within the rules then if we lose Brereton then we lose him. The club has to improve significantly on last season and I would be happy with a top half finish next season with a promotion push the season after and enjoy going to games again.

The state of the envelope and the amateur way that it was addressed I think that the Post Office may struggle to find exactly where they should be delivered.

I voted with my feet during the reign of Megson and have hardly been back since . once you find out that there are other things to do on a Saturday afternoon you find that going down the City Ground becomes much less attractive

Take note Fawaz your current fans could follow my route.
