Come the end of the season Nuno will be seen as the winner in the saga that unfolded this summer. No doubt EM believed the club to have become bigger than Nuno - sorry but no.
1.) 08 Nov 2025 18:58:41
From a great season to look forward to. to a shambles of a relegation battle nuno will be sitting with a glass of champagne at end of season smiling with west ham mid table while edus working out who to buy for the championship and maranakis will be thinking about bailing and selling what's left of us.
2.) 08 Nov 2025 19:03:44
He can't help himself Goldy. Like a big spoilt baby
It's my ball and I'm not playing. What a total cods ear he made of everything this season. Anchored in the bottom 3 and Stuck with Dyche. The latter day Ron Atkinson. Roll on next season because this one is dead in the water.
3.) 08 Nov 2025 19:20:53
Be very careful what you wish for
Marinakis won't bail out anyway
Oh my nuno has gone ??.
4.) 08 Nov 2025 20:03:27
I hope not, I don’t want him to, we’re in Deep if he does. Fans will start turning soon, even you did once and your level headed and loyal.
5.) 08 Nov 2025 20:24:59
I did under karanka
He was an awful coach that marinakis listened to
He bankrupt us from any more signings and maybe that's stuck with marinakis?
6.) 08 Nov 2025 23:16:23
Good point dtp.
06 Nov 2025 20:03:25
Who has signed these players?
1.) 06 Nov 2025 20:44:21
Nuno knew we weren't ready.
Even Mr Magoo could see we weren't.
2.) 06 Nov 2025 20:56:33
To me the real villian Is MGW, he's an England International with no control of a football and when opportunity arises misses 80% of his chances, that's not acceptable
That penalty sums him up tbh, no power and not placed anywhere near the corner and an easy save
End of the day Yates and Dominguez where unlucky, MGW was wasteful
Should have won it easily, sturm no threat at all other than the offside.
3.) 06 Nov 2025 21:05:18
Nuno spoke up nobody backed him even most of the fans turned on the man that got us into Europe with a no hope squad sorry to say but tough. you reap what you sow championship football here we come and don't moan about it notice the ones that do ain't on here much exciting football you wanted ????? edu I don't care what you say his destroying this club fact long live nuno.
4.) 06 Nov 2025 21:31:34
Yes Fred we definitely overachieved,
We lost the most valuable player selling elanga
Now that was nothing to do with edu, that was a decision made on profit
The whole side has suffered from that decision, I feel sorry for the strikers now whoever that leads the line as there's no pace in the build up and the end ball is usually appalling
We've signed bakwa, Hutchinson, ndoye but none have pace to frighten and play to many balls backwards instead of taking a man on
SELS abd MGW having a bad season and we are missing Aina bombing forward, murillo and milenkovic not quite so dominant either
The cracks where already there from beginning of April with those players, the clean sheets went and the goals dried up
We had to buy to compete in Europe, but we sold our best player in elanga
My judgment is out on most the new players as not seen enough
You see what happens when players don't play games and are then given a start, cramp and injuries
There's far more to it than just having a go at recruitment
Nuno had an agenda with marinakis before the season started, we didn't know what Europe league we would play in till the last minute either, so all last minute signings
Now some just see it simple as edu?
He's not in charge of recruitment for starters
So easy to blame one guy, when actually there are many to blame, elanga sale was our downfall.
5.) 06 Nov 2025 21:58:16
Here's one for you Ff.
Newcastle would jump at the chance to get Anderson back and Elanga hasn't lived up to expectation there.
Would you do a swap with them to get Elanga back?
6.) 06 Nov 2025 22:14:32
Most valuable player tell that to the Newcastle fans ?????? we ripped them off no assists no goals that's the difference between a good manager and a bad one knowing how to use and get the best out of players the only thing we have missed this season is a decent manager and you wanted him out have a great day at Derby next season I will be shopping for my gandaughter at forest shop wishing it was a premier league shirt I was buying for her.
7.) 06 Nov 2025 23:02:06
Elanga hasn't exactly done much at Newcastle.
8.) 07 Nov 2025 00:21:02
Ffs dtp when ya going to realise elanga didn't wanna stay? As for edu blah blah blah, it's the players who have let the whole club down. Shocking. Simples. Tell em no xmas leave to start with, livid.
9.) 07 Nov 2025 07:53:51
Exactly Bowie, why offer a £100M player for Elanga. Elanga wanted to go have a love in with his boyfriend at Newcastle. He DID NOT WANT TO BE AT FOREST!
It's irrelevant whether he is a good player. Ta for the good times and the transfer fee. Too good for us are you? See ya then!
10.) 07 Nov 2025 09:01:09
All day long Fred or try and get Murphy as part of a deal, only Williams us taking a man on atm.
11.) 07 Nov 2025 09:04:37
Elanga was under contract and never asked for a transfer
Forest sold him because they thought the offer was too good to turn down and made no attempt to keep him.
26 Oct 2025 14:46:50
Bye bye Forest.
1.) 26 Oct 2025 14:58:56
Relegation fodder.
2.) 26 Oct 2025 14:59:27
Nuno Should of been backed well done Mr m and edu playing Mansfield next season boooooooo.
3.) 26 Oct 2025 15:02:42
Party's not over yet!, still hanging round the front door saying our goodbyes.
24 Oct 2025 20:01:26
Woan scored some good goals over his career I hope he spends some time with players who should be weighing in with some goals and helps them build their confidence in shooting with accuracy and power, it seems a skill sadly absent at the moment. I think it’s more a confidence crisis than anything else. Needs resolving though.
1.) 24 Oct 2025 20:20:53
Good goals i call them brilliant 2 gold. I'm sure I posted a YouTube on him. Call it taylor looking down on the right signings. DTP ty sir for your your thoughts btw. We had good times,
2.) 24 Oct 2025 20:41:03
Your so right about our shooting, but it's the final ball aswell that needs addressing
I don't think it's a confidence thing though, MGW and Anderson aren't goalscoring material
Jesus looks a natural scorer but needs more quality from the wingers and full backs.
3.) 24 Oct 2025 21:00:43
Saw them on U Tube earlier mate. some absolute belters.
4.) 24 Oct 2025 21:33:22
We're living the dyche dream lads give it time ?.
5.) 25 Oct 2025 06:51:50
That’s a concern DTP, we need goals to come from all areas don’t we.
And yes Bowie, Apols I did woan a disservice, he only really scored worldies! How blessed we once were to have the left boots of Woan and Pearce.
21 Oct 2025 16:07:10
Good luck to Dyche and his team, I actually agree with both schools of thought on here in relation to this appointment. There is no doubt it feel like we’ve gone from hope and ambition to an appointment that reverses all of that.
It is a reality of where we find ourselves after a pre season of discord and poor planning.
Part of me feels ‘the club ‘ got far to too big for its boots and failed to properly evaluate how to move forward from last season’s unexpected success. Due to that we are now back to the chaotic scenes that as someone said yesterday, appear baked into our identity. Rinse and repeat at forest I’m afraid and it’s hard to see how it will ever change.
1.) 21 Oct 2025 16:54:16
Good post Gold Stars perfect evaluation. The reality is we've spent 150 million or so close season on a wealth of talent and Yates will be the first name on the team sheet. If that's the next step forward. Enjoy lads.
2.) 21 Oct 2025 17:11:21
That's a cool Headed assesment of where we are at!, from a season of progress it's now, with the appointment of Dyche, safety if possible?.
3.) 21 Oct 2025 17:37:29
Third paragraph really astute and well written Gold stars. Great post!
4.) 21 Oct 2025 17:56:54
Give ot a rest Larry. You dtps new best friend we need to give the bloke a chance he's forest through and through and if it doesn't work out he's tried but he's guaranteed success now dtp as said he's rubbish ??.
5.) 21 Oct 2025 19:07:03
SK, I agree, he has taken the ultimate job in his mind. He will give the squad back their mojo. So what if Yates is back, a player also like Dyche has Forest stamped in his heart. Remember this is a squad that was 3rd, that has lost Elanga ( replaced by Ndoye ) and Ania injured. Yet 120M of players signed languish wondering why they came. This man oozes confidence like Steve Cooper. SC so why not SD.
6.) 21 Oct 2025 19:44:26
Skeggs just being honest when I said I didn't want him anywhere near the club
End of the day he hus now so I won't be rushing for a bedsheet and will reserve judgement till I've seen a few games, my real worry is we haven't got the squad to play his style in the first place
Next come January we will need to offload, Hutchinson, Bakwa, killy, zinchenko, savona and few other flair players, but that won't be easy,
Having said all that he has to succeed or we will be playing championship football next season
I'll back the teams he puts out and that's all any of us can do
Do I think it's a good choice? NO.
7.) 21 Oct 2025 20:52:43
I agree dtp awfull appointment. So disappointing bargain basement manager for one of the most expensive squads in Europe.
Dont hold you breath Skegs.
8.) 22 Oct 2025 01:58:06
This appointment seems to have split the fanbase once again. Think its time to stop moaning and get behind the team, fortress WFCG again.
I honestly think we do have the players that will suit his style and i'm looking forward to getting in the van n heading down after work tomorrow. Wednesday night on the razz then Thursday night in delirium after our first win in European competition since i was a nipper. ?.
9.) 22 Oct 2025 06:31:23
Well said RHR!
13 Jul 2025 10:58:24
Ripley, you’re spot on mate, nothing wrong with being realistic, to the optimist realism will alway be dismissed as pessimism. There is of course every chance we might find a player who’s lost there way and needs a springboard. Players that are fancied by a range of bigger clubs are unlikely to chose Forest I would say.
14 Nov 2025 12:09:59
I’d say he’s off in the summer which was probably always the plan.
11 Nov 2025 22:07:03
Scarpa ……that was him! I thought he arrived mid December - i. Ould be wrong though.
11 Nov 2025 20:19:56
When in December pal? Let’s hope he’s better than the last Brazilian savour who arrived in December ….
09 Nov 2025 21:05:30
I heard the pies were warm as well today, about time Edu got that sorted….
09 Nov 2025 21:02:42
Fair comment Carlo, hope you enjoyed the win today. Big relief and I think shows Leeds are in. Battle to stay up. Could do with a few more sliding down the table as well.
