John Percy says its going to happen today with Cooper being installed after compo of £500k. Murphy was only ever interested in Cooper so it was all eggs in one basket. He might be the right man at forest but the right fit?
One thing that irritates was the media saying we interviewed wilder but bombed him out over financial demands. Nonesense he wanted to talk to us but they wanted one man from the start.

A manager who is well known for being good at working with younger players? I'd say that was a good fit, yes.

What we have is an abundance of developing young players. We can't spend, spend, spend due to FFP. People complained incessantly before that we needed a plan and to use our youngster. We need to buy younger players and develop our squad. Now we are doing it.

The only reason cooper is available is because he stood up to the swansea board and showed his displeasure losing Lowe and Ayew.
Sick of the regular managers doing the rounds with very little success from most of them.

Agreed 79 i think karanka and oneil were treated poorly though krankie was not up to it. We need a grafter with balls to develop and take on the hiearchy when needed.

Based on win percentage, O'Neil is the best boss since Davies. Warburton is a close second.

Looks like Steve Cooper is our new manager. Apparently 1.2 Million compensation agreed with Swansea. I am surprised our Chairman has gone for a Manger where we have to pay compensation when others are available. Still think he has limited club experience apart from being involved in the England set up. We have to get behind him.

Brilliant, another Hughton. Loves 1 up front and lots of defensive midfielders.
More boredom then- and to pay £1.2 million for his services is nothing short of a bad joke.

We have to get behind him 100% and not expect that the results are going to start flowing immediately. We know the squad as it is isn't capable of challenging at the top. Hopefully he can steer us to mid table and we have a much better transfer window next summer.

How do you know that damson?
Even before his first game.
Not sure what you where expecting as new coach.
At least he hasn't got a promotion on his cv so that's a good thing😁.

My opinion ff79 not a good appointment IMO
Not the sort of manager i would have thought we’d have gone for was hoping for a change in direction a more attacking and football playing type of manager ie wilder, Howe or even a foreign manager with new ideas, but no same sort of 1 up top boring football manager ie Cooper.

We've tired 2 up top Damson, still can't score goals.

Our new manager is Steve Cooper? How do I know? Well all I can say is that he has been seen yesterday looking at a house.

I doesn't matter who our next manager is and I think it's about time people stop blaming the managers.
The club has been a shambles for a long time now and it's clear to me where the problem truly lies.

MARINAKIS OUT!

17 Sep 2021 11:06:29
Tomo, mate, sadly without Marinakos there wouldn’t be Forest to support . We’d be defunct except for some glorious pages in the history books. Sometimes you have to sup with the devil to survive. 😕.

According to Sly Sports New Wilder has wants to distance himself from Forest as they are rooted at the Bottom of the league.

Looks like he’s chucked his name into the hat now Fawaz, come on! Prefer him to “Plug” as his style of play is more attack minded and we’ve had a gut full of defence minded tripe! Wilder did really well at Oxford before getting Northampton promoted and then a double promotion with the Blades. This bloke can take us forward, get him in!

Perko, just stating a fact. There piggy bank is empty so we have to try and attract a manager that is happy with that position. Not easy.

17 Sep 2021 13:31:22
Yeah i get that Gazza, we’ve blown too much dough on has beens, never has beens and just the downright not good enough, wouldn’t say that the pot is empty because Maraknacker is a very rich man but we have to stay within FFP so i hear you brother. But that might not distract a manager being interested in joining us as they would know the situation and if we are to believe our information sources then Wilder is interested. Eddie Howe also in the frame now if we are to rely on those sources. We shall see. But as I’ve said before, I’d rather have an attack minded manager than a defensive one and I’d love to see the edge of the seat football we had under King Billy again. People on here can call him what they like but we’ve not seen football like it at the City Ground since he went and I’d swap that for the tripe we have now.

Perko he came back as a vengeful moron, first time he was good .
So for that reason cannot be trusted ever again.

Didn’t say that i wanted him back Ff, just that edge of the seat style of football that we’ve not had since he went. I want to be entertained on match day not wishing for the final whistle to come so i can clear off home cus I’m bored sick of boring crap football.

Another boring defensive coach that sees 0-0 or 1-0 as the aim. He would surely take us down to league 1.

Far too late but we have 39 games now to turn this season around, and by that I mean avoid relegation. No manager can walk in to this club as it is and get us scoring goals for fun so there must be patience. But similarly to when Lamouchi was shown the door, all we wanted to see under CH was some sort of improvement, and that sentiment still remains. A change in style, some entertainment, get us out of reverse gear. CH will go down as one of the worst managers this club had ever had, but there's a big job ahead to get this club moving back in the right direction.
