I think the owner's son is being groomed to take over from Dane Murphy. Apparently he is dealing with the transfer of Henderson.

Burncross

1.) 16 Jun 2022 21:43:39
He's not being groomed for that he will be our new owner so he's going to want to get involved if it helps a deal, at the end of the day I would imagine Murphy only has a set amount he can negotiate and with him there he can approve extra funds or the contract

2.) 18 Jun 2022 01:16:50
From what's been said he's become quite the forest fan, been at most of our home games and obviously trying to do best for our great club. Murphy n Cooper going nowhere.

Looks like Henderson is on his way to Forest. Goodbye Samba. Not a premier league goalkeeper.

Burncross

1.) 15 Jun 2022 21:43:43
Excellent goalkeeper, premier quality and with an optional to buy ?.

2.) 16 Jun 2022 13:27:44
Why is it just because samba is leaving you now say he's not premier league quality? He would of done a job in the league for us and why is it just because he's leaving you are now turning on him.

However Dean is far better quality keeper in that I agree and its a very good signing

3.) 16 Jun 2022 15:41:58
I think samba is a better all round keeper than Henderson will ever be.

4.) 16 Jun 2022 23:44:44
You caught anything yet? ???.

5.) 17 Jun 2022 17:21:12
I’m pretty shocked samba wants to leave. He’s good enough for prem. not seen any keeper better with the ball played back to him. Was hoping he just wanted a better contract but seems not.
If he goes good luck to him.
Henderson ideal replacement.
Expect horvath to go aswel. Wants to be playing because World Cup. Maybe loan him out to championship side.
With emergency call back if henderson gets injured.

6.) 17 Jun 2022 17:29:00
Rumours saying just a loan with no option to buy. just keep samba.

7.) 17 Jun 2022 22:34:39
Never try and keep a player that wants a move.

Hopefully Worrall and Johnson will stay at the club now.

Has Carvello gone to Olympiacos?

Spence on his way back to Middlesbrough. It was always on the cards. No manager in his right mind would allow one of his players to stay with a rival team, as both are pushing for promotion.

Not according to Cooper he’s not.

I see there are no details yet of the retained list, the club should be getting rid of several fringe squad members, plus some academy players.

Burncross

1.) 06 Jun 2022 14:12:26
I think so mate, there was a list put up the other day for fringe players which I think was pretty accurate . I think Fornah and a couple of others will go on loan again. Perhaps we will hold on to Taylor as one who could get a chance at some point . I don’t know about too many more of the academy players mate .

2.) 06 Jun 2022 15:11:56
Where was this list 2star, I must have missed it.

3.) 06 Jun 2022 17:36:34
Apols pal, someone put a predicted one on here which I reckon will pretty much mirror what the club will announce, just speculation at the minute mate, nothing official from the club.

4.) 06 Jun 2022 19:59:06
It was just my Opions on Forest and nothing official Squad as it Stands.
Prem quality .
Samba, Horvath,
Cook, McKEnna, Worrell
Colback, Johnson, Yates
Surridge.
If signed Spence, Garner, Davies.
Squad players.
Smith, Laryea, Panzo. Zinkernagel Lowe. Mighton.
Further development required.
Fernandes, Harbottle, Back, Hammond, Konate Taylor.
Deadwood or out of contract.
Bong, Mbe Soh, Figs, Arter, Cafu, Ojeda, Grabban, Lolly, Silva. Da Costa, Drager, Jenkinson, Ioannou. 🎈.

5.) 06 Jun 2022 20:54:16
Horvath and Colback should be on the exit door list, Horvath clearly not premier quality and Samba needs some serious competition and Horvath salary reportedly at 20k would be better spent elsewhere, Colback in his prime wasn't up to premiership standard and we might get a small fee for him from a championship club, the same goes for Lyle Taylor possibly a small fee, I would keep Lolley can be an asset off of the bench.

6.) 06 Jun 2022 21:20:20
Fernandes is being released
Harbottle swann fornah Richardson need to be moved on they are 22 now abd showed little sign of getting into the side in the championship and we need room to develop osong Taylor larsson konate pharrell Johnson.

7.) 06 Jun 2022 21:33:22
Would like to see Stuart Pearce come back to the club in some form, I feel he has something to add and maybe he is already being lined up by the club for some position, as he did walk away from West Ham!
I think Cafu and loannou could be decent squad players and maybe grabban as a player coach.

8.) 06 Jun 2022 21:43:06
Lolley has been no asset all season so the Premier is a league he won't handle, he's had two poor seasons now and is on the decline said when he walked up to take the penalty the he would miss and he did.

9.) 06 Jun 2022 22:23:38
I thought he’d miss too, lost his way, his touch and subsequently his edge.

01 Jun 2022 10:22:16
I may be wrong but since the Commercial Director Paul Cook left the club he has not been replaced. Surely now we are in the Premier League more commercial avenues will be open to the club, and there will be a great need for a new Commercial Director.

I see both the under 18's and under 23's have fallen at the final hurdle. The under 18's to a dubious penalty decision, and the under 23's because we had a player sent off after 14 minutes. Is this going to be a trend through the club, and the first team will also fall at the final hurdle. 😩.

Burncross

1.) 16 May 2022 16:31:42
Burncross: stiff upper lip required we are going to give them a roasting the players want to satisfy the fans appetite with quality play and goals. Cooper demands goals this time NOT missed opportunities. don't read any of the rubbish being spout by United. The fact is none of the other teams wanted to play Forest especially at FORTRESS CITY GROUND especially when Mull of kintyre echoes across the pitch (Sorry I meant City Ground, )

12 May 2022 19:52:25
I must have missed the answer but can someone explain why the final was held at Old Trafford clearly giving Man Utd an advantage.

Burncross

1.) 12 May 2022 21:28:22
Absolutely no idea . Maybe stadium size but there were other options . If it was stadium size, why not 50/ 50 split of seat allocations? All the United ‘ Royalty’ were invited or maybe got tickets . So the headline of a Forest win would not fit and that was on the cards . Apart from the none penalty awarded I hadn’t realised the referee made them retake their free kick which on the second take they scored . I don’t know why the NEP don’t spend more time investigating this, than reporting well known MU players saying how well they had done to win.

It maybe I am a little paranoid and looking for conspiracy theories BUT gentle pressure could be put on a referee dare I say . Does Somebody out there (? Ed ) know a plausible reason the game was at Old Trafford.

2.) 12 May 2022 21:43:00
Very good post doc.

3.) 13 May 2022 08:28:56
United were drawn at home for the Final. The Final draw was made at the same time as the Semi Final draw.

4.) 13 May 2022 08:42:18
I think the venue for the final was made earlier in the season, as forest were winning previous rounds, it was reported 'this years final is taking place at Old Trafford'.

5.) 13 May 2022 12:32:40
I saw that Ronaldo sent a pre match video speech to Manchester United s youngsters, brilliant player ( and deeply sympathetic to his recent bereavement) but a role model for diving, cheating to get an opponent sent off etc. Really?

30 Apr 2022 19:01:30
I cannot remember the last Forest player before Surridge to score a hat trick.

Burncross

1.) 30 Apr 2022 19:24:47
Jamie Patterson got a load against West Ham 3 or 4 I think

Cooper far superior to Davies, who strangely has not had a club to manage since he left Forest. Enough said.
