Hey Ed. can you or any others throw any light on the rumour that Billy Davies does not want Radio Nottingham live-match commentary next season?

1.) Wow you being serious? I imagine there would be an uproar. I can the business sense as it would make everyone buy forest player to listen to the match, but even then you'd have to pay a commentator. what is Billy's gripe with Radio Nottm? I can't recall Fray / Chippers ever saying anything bad against him. anyone able to enlighten me on this? ta
2.) Surely not what about fans who can't get to games and rely on commentries {Ed034's Note - the only thing that's happened is billy doesn't want to talk after. They won't ban radio commentary
3.) When SoD was sacked lots of people were calling and texting in post match/ MatchTalk in the hope of a BD return. Each time Chippers and Fray rubbished the thought as impossible. Perhaps Billy was listening and didn't take kindly to them laughing at the suggestion of his return.
Personally I think Billy should talk after the game, to not do so is disrespectful to the fans. Last season it was fair enough to say he was concentrating just on the coming games - it's a new season now so he should just get on with it. Also if commentary is taken over to Forest Player then I won't be paying to listen. {Ed034's Note - he does talk after the game, just not to radio nottm.
4.) They can't ban it because local radio commentary is part of he beefs deal with the football league alongside highlights and the football league show
5.) Does he want to talk to anyone except Nat Jackson? Still guess BD better than Joe Kinnear-but only just!

All decent enough. Would be good to see Jara back at the CG; I thought he was pretty good for us when he played. Ward would be an asset too, ans would Jackson. Don't know too much about Thomas though.
Does anyone seriously value Rhodes at £10m? I was gob smacked when Blackburn bought him for £8m.
