Some football club news.

Nottingham Forest Football Club are talks with its players to defer their wages for 3 months, that comes shortly after both the clubs board and the manager have taken a reduction in pay.

Didn’t think the board apart from the CEO got paid.

Trump has been said to say injections of detergent could/ would stop the virus.

That statement is very dangerous and he should ousted from his job if true.

Football Waits

1.) 24 Apr 2020 17:50:02
He didn’t actually say they should be used but ‘looked into’.

2.) 24 Apr 2020 18:14:39
How dim does this guy have to be Stevie f before you also realize it?

3.) 24 Apr 2020 18:16:19
What sort of injection would you give the Donald ?

CARLO

4.) 24 Apr 2020 18:19:14
Toilet Duck.

5.) 24 Apr 2020 18:27:02
I think I'll Duck that question carlo.

6.) 24 Apr 2020 18:28:48
Fake news its all fake news 😁😁.

7.) 24 Apr 2020 18:31:47
He has said he was being sarcastic to see what would happen.

So he wanted to see how many Americans were stupid enough to take what he said seriously and test it on themselves.

8.) 24 Apr 2020 18:45:44
Bsered 1st of all the original poster obviously didn’t see the press conference, secondly the reference was made to disinfectant and not detergent, and thirdly he didn’t say inject yourself with it, he said could it be ‘looked in to, ’ I agree a ridiculous assertion, but he’s been accused of saying something he didn’t say.

9.) 24 Apr 2020 18:50:59
Bsered see I got this rule, if I m going to slag someone off, I prefer to do it for something they’ve actually said, not for something someone told me They might have said, or what the trump hating media would like them to have said,

10.) 24 Apr 2020 19:20:43
Its fake news its fake news 🤪🤪.

11.) 24 Apr 2020 19:24:46
Ff79 I actually watched the press conference, it’s twisted news.

12.) 24 Apr 2020 19:33:09
Think we've all seen it stevie but he doesn't help hinself with his comments.
Not the time to come out with some of his weird comments and then when questions are asked he just tells them they are fake news.
You expect the head of state to be a little bit more clever and diplomatic than that.

13.) 24 Apr 2020 19:51:24
Ff79 I’m not defending the statement mate, it’s the way it’s been used by people, as if he said something he didn’t, meanwhile China get away blameless, these people are so desperate to pin something on trump, they ignore the real culprits of this disaster, the Chinese government.

14.) 24 Apr 2020 19:54:50
I hold my hand up i have not seen press conference but did give my opinion about what should happen, if it is true.

Althohgh i made the terrible mistake of putting detergent instead of disinfectant both are substances that should not taken into the body.

Some disinfectant companies have come out and said it is not a solution, and indeed disinfectant would mess the lungs up.

What someone like ourselves would say among one another along the lines of Trump would be at best in bad taste.

When you are one of the World Leaders to say something like that is irresponsible, and even to say it sarcastically is not what a World Leader should be saying considering how many of the general public hang on every word celebrities and politicians say and are daft enough to do what they say.

15.) 24 Apr 2020 20:06:46
No wonder Trump and bumbling Boris get on so well. Both completely incompetent. Boris being a tad more spineless.

16.) 24 Apr 2020 20:16:37
Trump's that incompetent he thought he could change the 'Bill of Rights'. Tried to ban Muslims from entering the US. Unconstitutional. Tried to alter gun laws. Unconstitutional. Tried to overrule state governors. Unconstitutional. And idiots still support him.

17.) 24 Apr 2020 20:20:26
F waits so you didn’t see the press conference, but we’re happy to jump on the trump bashing bandwagon anyway, even though what you were told was 100 % innaccurate, fair enough,

18.) 24 Apr 2020 20:32:01
Think we all know china are guilty of misleading the world and they've done it a few times before.
Doesnt excuse trump for making stupid and ignorant comments.
Id like nothing better than the world come down hard on China and place economic sanctions against them, more fake crap comes out of China than any other country and their pollution of the planet is unacceptable.

19.) 24 Apr 2020 20:54:48
Trump is a harpic user, clean round the bend.

20.) 24 Apr 2020 21:10:45
No country would have been able to stop from going out of their respective country, Ff. Before anyone knew what it was the carrier/ carriers would have already gone to other countries and spread it around. China definitely tried to cover it up (expected nothing else to be honest) but even if they didn't it would have been too late. Putting sanctions on them is a bit daft especially when every country try to cover things up.

21.) 24 Apr 2020 21:37:04
Stevie, you make it sound as if what he actually said and what was reported to so far apart from one another those reporting should be sacked.

You said he said it should be looked into, those reporting it said he said it could be used, yes there is a difference but for a World leader to suggest its use should be looked into is equivalent to a endorsement to some people.

That is why World leaders need to choose what they say very carefully, but perhaps that is what you find appealing about Trump, that he says what he thinks not thinking what he should say.

22.) 24 Apr 2020 21:38:54
I listen to what people say for real, and also draw my own conclusions. The other day I heard Trump say China have had an mishap and let the virus escape from a laboratory. Ugh, what am I believing here. AAAAAAAHHH.

23.) 24 Apr 2020 21:46:08
F waits I am telling you what he did say, people reporting it are not my concern, he said, ’ looking into ‘ end of, the rest of you post is putting words in my mouth, I don’t give a monkeys whether reporters are sacked or not,

24.) 24 Apr 2020 21:58:37
Funny how the whistle blowers one has died and the other dissapeared were forced to retract their words.
The chinese just happen to have their main scientific labs in whuhan so let's blame it solely on the meat market?

25.) 24 Apr 2020 22:00:17
Psycho clough, and he’ll get a 2nd term, looks like he’ll only have that cretin joe bidon to beat, better open goal than Boris had against dim wit class warrior corbyn and his band of half wits, by the way are you infering trump is a racist?

26.) 24 Apr 2020 22:33:16
Some of us have said things that we shouldn't, go on wash your mouth out with Hydroxychloroquine.

27.) 24 Apr 2020 23:18:22
Nice bit of editing Ed.

{Ed033's Note - thanks.

28.) 24 Apr 2020 23:28:43
Purely on a pedantic standpoint, Stevie. You infer I imply. But I didn't imply. You inferred.

29.) 24 Apr 2020 23:33:40
Just been reading Trump owes China tens of millions of dollars. When in tomorrow's news releases it will make very interesting reading . Oh Trump what have you done!

30.) 24 Apr 2020 23:34:50
Trump's actual words:

“I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning? Because you see it gets in the lungs, and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that. ”

“So, supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it’s ultraviolet or just very powerful light — and I think you said that that hasn’t been checked, but you’re going to test it. And then I said, supposing you brought the light inside the body. ”

Make your own minds up.

PS ultra-violet light contains radiation.

{Ed033's Note - Sounds like Trump doesn't know what he's talking about, or is playing 5D chess with us :)

31.) 24 Apr 2020 23:08:00
Where did you get the racist bit from?

{Ed033's Note - Didn't he want to put Another Brick in The Wall.

32.) 25 Apr 2020 00:46:39
Since1951 you didn’t read that in the guardian by any chance, you must be one of the few people that read that pathetic rag,

33.) 24 Apr 2020 23:51:38
Psycho yeah thanks for that mate, it is late I needed something to get me to sleep, and you just nailed it for me.

34.) 25 Apr 2020 00:00:54
Psycho banning Muslims from entering the USA.

35.) 25 Apr 2020 00:03:22
Yes he did Ed. But when funding was suspended by Senates passing an appropriations bill minus payment for the wall he threw his toys out of the pram and closed government for a month or so. Boo-hoo.

36.) 25 Apr 2020 08:27:21
Psycho that’s a laugh trump throwing his toys out of the pram. the democrats have done nothing else since trump was inaugurated,

37.) 25 Apr 2020 08:29:15
Their are times that what we believe is shown that it is proved to be wrong. We have all have I believe that this has occurred . To accept this truth is at times hard. Underneath our facade we still fool ourselves we are correct,

38.) 25 Apr 2020 08:54:07
Yes Stevie I do sometimes read the Guardian, not to many cartoons and pictures in it, just news and topics.

39.) 25 Apr 2020 11:07:17
That's what he wanted to do, Stevie. His own words but he didn't realise he wouldn't have the power to do it.

40.) 25 Apr 2020 12:33:07
Yep but it doesn’t make him a racist.

41.) 25 Apr 2020 20:34:58
I never said he was a racist. I said he was incompetent and actually impotent.

{Ed033's Note - Trump is the current C.E.O. of the corporation known as the United States.

42.) 25 Apr 2020 22:56:17
Thank god he's impotent one duck fart is enough😁😁.

23 Apr 2020 19:28:15
Ouch, Carvalho's thoughts on MON and Keane, English football and English managers.

To come out with that he wants to leave.

Football Waits

1.) 23 Apr 2020 22:47:03
He’s was just being honest. Possibly too honest. I didn’t get that he wanted to leave from the interview. Thought him saying he would take a pay cut too was a nice touch.

23 Apr 2020 19:20:31
The season could now be decided on points per game, what else will they come up with.

Football Waits

1.) 24 Apr 2020 09:35:42
Rock, Paper, Scissors for the remaining games, captains play and best of 5, this can be done through lockdown, surely the best method of deciding the league:)

2.) 24 Apr 2020 09:50:44
The season decided on points per game, that’ll be a league table then, brilliant idea, I wonder why it’s not been thought of before.

22 Apr 2020 19:19:25
Snooker World Championship has been rescheduled to July 31st, i did not think it was it was so popular they would have to reschedule. I thought about a dozen people turned up to have a nap. 😁.

Football Waits

21 Apr 2020 19:15:46
There is talk that the Championship could be split into regions like the old days, i can not see anything coming of that.

1.) 21 Apr 2020 19:33:38
Read that mate, sounds like they’re making things up to write about to me,

2.) 21 Apr 2020 20:52:02
Hi stevie, here again mate . Corbyn said to be talking to terrors, that's correct. So did Blair heard of the good Friday agreement, makes good reading. Cameron met Gadaffi and the genacidal leader of Myamaror something like that, each to their own. I to lived in Clifton so did my wife, she was one of the first families to move in, lived on Brooksby Lane. Our new leader remember is a Sir! Hope he turns into a Cromwell type figure.

3.) 21 Apr 2020 21:54:21
Champagne socialist and the ‘mastermind ‘ of Labours brexit policy, laughing stock, yes the good Friday agreement ira murderers go free British soldiers still being hounded years later, agreements are easily made if you just give the other side everything they want, don’t remember the leader of Myanmar ever sending people to bomb civilians on the British mainland,

4.) 21 Apr 2020 22:17:28
I lived on meadowvale crescent 51.
Had no money didn't have a father to see till i was five because he was convelesing in a care home in hunstanton after being knocked off his bike and run over.
Times were hard with my two elder brothers bringing me up and going to work with my mum making lace opposite the old broad marsh bus station.
Labour didn't help my mum and dad then.
We made extra money going to the ponds behind the power station cutting down bullrushes and strapping them to home made carts from pram wheels and selling them for sixpence.
Delivered parafin all day for five shillings
Went scrumping down colnel cliftons so mum had fruit to cook us pies and did potato picking.
Labour didn't help us one bit matewe fended for ourselves.

5.) 21 Apr 2020 22:30:07
You can't see it, and never will the situation is the Torys won the election, are responsible for our well being and health. Cornyn for all his differences would not let us be in this situation. To say he would be negligent is short sighted in the extreme. Will not be taking any injection myself this year because the science of testing is not proven . See all TV channels.

6.) 21 Apr 2020 22:34:46
Ps i'd guess that's your birthdate?
If so you would have gone to school with my middle brother born that same year.
My eldest was the mace leader of the boys brigade at the Methodist church he sadly passed away 18 months ago after a brave fight against cancer.

7.) 21 Apr 2020 22:44:07
So what did every other country in the worlds elected government do wrong?
Should they have known this was coming and stopped it?
Its reached every continent and even superman couldn't stop this so super jeremy with all his tax money wouldn't stop it either.

8.) 21 Apr 2020 22:50:06
Since1951 what you seem incapable of realising his every government in the world is in trouble with this, corbyn McDonnell, and Abbott in charge? I’d be more scared of that thought than the virus itself.

9.) 21 Apr 2020 23:00:40
Corbyn would never ftighten me stevie he's visible this virus isn't.
Got a feeling those tb jabs we got when we were kids will save us.

10.) 21 Apr 2020 23:09:35
It's general agreement on all TV channels that we could have and should have acted sooner for a kick off. Just to let you know I lived on thistledown road near the. comp . Where the winning post is go along ruddington lane, over the brook and the first house on the left is where Billy Walker lived . Very friendly then with someone called Mick Cubitt have you heard of him. Going back in years to 1956.

11.) 21 Apr 2020 23:27:09
I wasnt born till 57 mate.

12.) 21 Apr 2020 23:41:16
Brian bates a notts county winger came to fairham and changed us from playing rugby to football.
A great guy who you could talk too without the fear of the cane like fred roudell a discrace of a human being.
Bates made the difference and that's why we had viv Anderson, dave mcvay, peter wells and glyn Saunders.
A couple that should have made it were wayne thompson and kevin ford.

13.) 22 Apr 2020 06:58:57
Since1951 oh that’s it then case closed all tv channels agree, lol a load of ‘ wise after thie event ‘ journalists who sit on the sidelines criticising everything, without the pressure of real responsibility, it’s a big decision to close down a country, most of thee journalists are leeches on society, the bbc has done more to lower public morale in the last 6 weeks, than goebbels did in the 2nd world war, some of their reporting has been an utter disgrace, causing panic food buying, the bog roll shortages was down to them, playing down any potential vaccine, emphasising when the death toll has risen, but not mentioning the fact it dropped for 3days in a row, the sooner Johnson decriminalises the license fee non payment the better, let the overpaid parasites at the bbc fend for themselves,

14.) 22 Apr 2020 07:01:51
Fff79 yes mate Kev Ford, was a good player, and a kid that used to be in my form, Steve bee, think he played for 'all whites'.

15.) 22 Apr 2020 07:09:33
Fff79 by the way riddell was my housemaster, a bigger hole, you couldn’t wish to meet and a Labour Party member / councillor, got on the education committee, and spoke out against corporal punishment believe it or not,! i allege he was a sadist, never known a man take so much pleasure out of the use of a cane, he was a bully a hypocrite, and worst of all a bad teacher,

16.) 22 Apr 2020 08:23:00
You were in the same form as me then mate still see kev and reggie who i used to sit next to.

17.) 22 Apr 2020 10:13:49
Stevie, you don't read newspapers you don't listen to tv news . Yet you are thinking you are right, please tell me where you get your information so that I can get the same information as you and be fully informed. I meant it honestly please. FF79, I meet up with Batesey often played at Notts for years.

18.) 22 Apr 2020 10:34:33
He is a genuinely nice guy 51 treated kids as adults and made sports fun.

19.) 22 Apr 2020 10:46:29
Just thought I would let you know, my daughter is a scientist and my wife deals in pharmaceuticals. They might know more than me!

20.) 22 Apr 2020 11:39:19
My second daughter works for the East Midlands ambulance service.

21.) 22 Apr 2020 11:49:37
51 I look at different reports and interviews on a new fangled thing called the internet, and try to make up my own mind, don’t need someone’s editorial view to sway my opinion, of course I think I’m right everybody that writes on here does,

22.) 22 Apr 2020 11:53:36
Fff79 fordy was in a different form to me as was reg, but same year, Stevie bee was in my form think he was in whittle, I was in Eliot.

23.) 22 Apr 2020 13:25:21
Stevie, my family certainly does.

24.) 22 Apr 2020 13:39:01
Since1951 I wouldn’t expect anything different, of course your family agree with you,

25.) 22 Apr 2020 14:11:09
Who writes on the internet, journalists, and chief scientists like the ones who have a daily tv meeting with ministers.

26.) 22 Apr 2020 14:53:41
Im going to have to get you two a council house to argue in 🤣🤣🤣.

27.) 22 Apr 2020 15:58:13
It's the easiest thing in the world to sit on the sidelines and then with the benefit of hindsight criticise other peoples decisions, even I can do that. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, we should all be born with it, that way no-one would ever make a single mistake in their entire life.

28.) 22 Apr 2020 16:08:07
1951 &ff79 yeah am bored now😊internet viewing means you ain’t tied to 1boring newspaper, am done now gents 😊.

29.) 22 Apr 2020 16:27:39
So true stan very interesting how it was when the covide outbreak started and both sides said nows not the time for cross party politics and for the country to stick together.
That went out the window during the labour leadership campaign and has been picking up momentum since.
At this moment in time i think its fine to ask questions but criticism does nothing to combat our way out of this.

30.) 22 Apr 2020 18:33:24
Now it is the teachers that take the beatings off the kids.

31.) 22 Apr 2020 18:45:40
Sitting in the car waiting for my wife to come out of the local shop with a few bottles a young woman about 25walks past with her short skirt tucked into her pants at the back. Not a dirty old man but it was amusing. As she went into the shop she obviously could not see properly with her face mask on . Tripped over the step and knocked display stands flying . The poor girls cred down the swany. 😂😂😂😂😂.
