Nixon's tweet seems to suggest he'll finally be unveiled tomorrow (the striker, not Nixon). However I couldn't help noticing he'd used the words "long story" (Nixon, not the striker) without any real context-is this a clue perhaps? Peter Crouch is long, technically tall I suppose, although when prostrate one might consider him long?

I don't think it will be long but he is exactly the type of forward df would be looking for.always gives 100%,never gives up on chasing a ball weather he can get it or not.he wins a lot of headers/flick ons,he can play a lone striker and can hold the ball up and play it or run with it.but because he does all that he does score as many goals as we would like.

Shane Long did not travel to Arnhem Vitese with Southampton,apparently possible hamstring injury?? could be a sign he is the exciting striker (yawn this is getting boring now)just our type of player,injured so sign him😊

It seems we will play lone striker role so IF we get this mystery magician striker they should be tall and a target in the box for crosses.I would choose Moore from yoevil 6'5 and young and prolific.
