Good morning. Can somebody please explain ffp rules for me as I don't understand how the likes of Sheff Wed and Bristol City can pay £8m - £10m for one player and we struggle having paid £5.5m for Assombolonga last season?????

Simple you can only spend what you generate
and as we have wasted money in the past 3 years then we are now not allowed to spend
Debfoure and Abdoun cost around £5mill paying up contracts must have cost £ 3 mill
Then we had stupid loans that were not needed JJ, Ince + others £2 million, on top all of this we have had to pay the contracts up of previous managers, Cotterill, O'Driscoll, McKliesh, Billy boy (x2) and SP and all of the staff .
SP with 5 staff must have cost at least £6 mill.
People tend to forget that when we sack a manager we have to pay up his and all his staff contracts.
Brian Clough once said " The Chairman only has one difficult decision to make and that is to employ the right manager"
With all the Managers we have had The Chairman seems to have got it wrong to the cost of 20 million and that's why we are in trouble

Longeatonred. Be patient. Clearly you are not a business man. If we wanted to put all our eggs in 1 basket on a player worth 13 mil then Burke would still be at Forest. Overall this will improve the standard of our team. Several players of a better standard than what we have now is much better for us as a club this season. Sides that have 1 outstanding player never go up. Such as McCormack at Fulham, Rhodes at Blackburn.
