Great news is:
1 Dias gone. Didn't even look like a footballer. Absolutely awful.
2 Hefele out for season. Let's hope is operation and injury recovers faster than his turn of pace!
3 Fox on his way

Bad news:
1 Dawson out for a minimum of another 6 weeks. Could be the end for him
2 Worrall staying at Rangers when he is needed here.

NorthNottsRed

1.) 25 Jan 2019 07:04:06
Did you see Worralls blunder last night? I'd rather he stay and we get someone better in.

2.) 25 Jan 2019 10:28:41
Yeah, been on the Rangers Banter site and told them "6 Million and he's all yours!!" 😂😂😂

3.) 25 Jan 2019 11:53:43
Worrall is still a prospect

4.) 25 Jan 2019 13:28:32
Like many players over a long period of time, look very good initially but never seem to improve.

5.) 25 Jan 2019 13:37:21
One blunder all season

Fox and Hefele make one each per game

6.) 25 Jan 2019 16:42:09
A month ago everyone was saying how good fox has been and is integral to the squad and I agree still, I would be interested in who people think we are going to get in that is so much better. I am also concerned the possibility of signing mclean not for me don't rate him at all.

7.) 25 Jan 2019 19:08:18
Who all agreed?
Not me,fans get carried away when he pings a long ball,he just can't defend, something he couldn't do as a left back either,he just went forward with no care for his defensive duties, hasn't suddenly learnt the art of defending🤔

8.) 25 Jan 2019 19:48:25
Why have all our players suddenly been condemned as rubbish?
We have a new manager who is great at getting the best out of players and will bring in 2 or 3 key signings to cover the injuries and lack of cover this month.
Cannot believe the doom and gloom has started already!
Little wonder all your negativity becomes a self fulfilling prophecy? 🙄😒👎

9.) 25 Jan 2019 20:29:34
No doom and gloom, just saying he needs to bin off karankas failures ,never mind new signings it's the wrong window for quality.
That's your mates answer ,bring eight signings in,all crap except colback,Martin is more astute and the owners will have learnt a lesson from buying quantity over quality.

10.) 26 Jan 2019 10:31:33
All rubbish don't make me laugh, I would be interested to hear who you would like to bring in once these apparent waste of times are shipped out

11.) 26 Jan 2019 11:30:15
I don't buy the players my friend,we just need some pace in the side for starters, midfielder who can control the game and another striker with pace, goalkeeper centre back.
Let's put the question to you,if you think these players are good, name the ones you'd keep and why.🤔

12.) 27 Jan 2019 16:48:08
Your glad Hef is out for the season. that is a awful thing for a supporter to say.

Worral is a huge prospect but we don’t need him back, he has been up and down for Rangers, some good performances and some poor ones and he is likely to get more game time there.

14 Jan 2019 20:51:10
Good Luck MoN.

Whatever his style of football, let's hope it is quicker and slicker than AK's. 16 wins from 52 games, with plenty of boring draws along the way.

Looking forward to him and Keane. Should be far more entertaining. At least will be able to decipher the interviews!

12 Jan 2019 21:39:48
I've been saying for at least 2 seasons that Danny Fox is an absolute liability and an awful football player that belongs in league 1 or 2. NOT being a captain in a championship team vying for promotion to the PL! 4/5 good games don't make him great.

NorthNottsRed

1.) 12 Jan 2019 23:25:10
Add to that 2 weak full backs.

2.) 13 Jan 2019 11:38:00
Glad it's not just me then. I've always said Fox and Darikwa are both liabilities and never rated them on this forum and people slated me! Out of their depths in a shallow puddle.

3.) 13 Jan 2019 11:39:14
Couldn't believe it at the start of the season when Fox came out in the captains armband

4.) 13 Jan 2019 12:51:45
Bring back eric far better than darikwa

30 Dec 2018 23:10:20
What about this stat.
Dougie freedman, with a transfer embargo, wage cap etc, with Chris O Grady upfront, after 50 games had more points than Katanka has.

Karanka has spent over £30 million, ( net £20m) been backed with every player he's asked for, and we've won 8 games out of 25 this season.
I'm with marinakis, not good enough I'm afraid!

NorthNottsRed

1.) 31 Dec 2018 00:01:37
This is what I've been trying to say. He's definitely no better than Warburton, Freedman etc. The only reason a lot of fans won't admit it is because they were so desperate for him to be appointed that they will look silly.

We've all been wrong before guys. Get over it. This boss is not good enough.

22 Dec 2018 21:59:48
A few considered thoughts after today's abject performance.

Why play a makeshift back 4 with a left back and centre half and a right back at left back with a centre half on the bench? Totally unbalanced the team.

Why drop Yacob who was excellent at Derby and replace him with Avery average
Guedioura?

No width to the team other than the fullbacks, with one totally out of position and could only cross with Right foot from way outside the box. Why?

Why bring on Murphy, Annsarifad and go three up top with no wingers?

Karanka must have the answers?!

Jury out, but if he doesn't get his act together he will be gone!

NorthNottsRed

1.) 23 Dec 2018 15:07:46
AK kept playing Watson till he realised the midfield was a weakness. Now he plays Guediora as playmaker, which he isn't, and I hope he stops making these mistakes. Yacob and Colback are a natural pairing, both happy to drop back and cover for our fullbacks, Darikwa and Robinson, who can be given full rein to run at the opposition. I still think Osborn is better used as the playmaker for Grabban and Cash, but unfortunately he'll stick with Carvalho.
If we do sell Lolley, then I'd bring Burke back for a few million, and start using Appiah a lot more - he's better than Dias and Goncalves.
I doubt the new DoF would sanction any of this at all, but unless the second half of the season is a vast improvement on the first we are doomed to mid-table obscurity again.

We finished 9th last season after yet again sacking a manager half way through it and then sign 8 new players so far with the manager saying he needs at least 4 more.
Why is then that we start with Cash rb, one striker and two pensioners starting the first game?

I really don't get it.

After finishing 9th surely we needed 2 or maybe 3 quality additions rather than a bunch of foreign kids no one has ever heard of.

We now have about 12 players in the 'bomb' squad sat on fat salaries and if Lamouchi doesn't work we start again!

Crazy.

NorthNottsRed

1.) 04 Aug 2019 19:29:59
Quality additions cost too much, and we put all our eggs into the Carvalho and Grabben baskets to stay within the amount that stops yet another transfer ban, if we were to fork out on two or three quality additions we could be in a bad situation, and those quality additions would leave in a heart beat, and because of the then situation they would leave for next to nothing

2.) 04 Aug 2019 20:13:56
Carvalho didn't cost 13mill in one payment, its spread over his contract.
Grabban cost 6 mill
We got 7 mill for brereton and three mill for Osborn.
The reason we can't afford quality is we have far too many players on the payroll taking all that money away and more.
The problem I se is that the owners took over olympiakos and had success so thought they could do the same blueprint at forest.
Difference is olympiacos where already a successful club and had very little threat in the Greek league.
Weve had two if not three good dof's and theve all walked away, that tells you something is not right behind the scenes.
You have to applaud the owners for the off field strategy and it's great we will get a new stand and transformation of the ground, but that's not worth doing if you can't match it on the playing field.
Get the manager and team right first the can come after.

3.) 04 Aug 2019 20:35:56
Like I said before FF on field it's no better than our last loony owner.
Don't get the mentallity on how we operate on the field and transfers etc?

4.) 04 Aug 2019 20:57:25
You know me fawaz and I predicted wed sign these sort of players quantity over quality.
Should never have more than 24 player squad, its bad for morale and in any team game a good team spirit is a must.
But you just get called a moaner, I prefer realist and not being blinded by just hoping everything will turn out right.

5.) 04 Aug 2019 23:02:30
GM2. We would not be at any risk under FFP rules by adding £10 to £15m in 2/ 3 quality additions. We had loans written off and over the rolling three year we are way above the risk area.

When we sack Lamouchi in either Oct or If lasts that long Jan, and then start again with an even bigger bomb squad, that’s when we start to be at risk.

It’s no good congratulating the owner for his off field success because his manager recruitment, player recruitment and football knowledge are severely inferior to what we need for a successful attempt at promotion.

6.) 05 Aug 2019 06:49:22
It doesn't take a genius to see a bloated squad won't work along with signings of unknown quality.
We don't moan we pay a hefty sum to see forest succeed but get called out when opinions are voiced.
Sit back and relish in the fact you're correct with your statements FF. 👍.

7.) 05 Aug 2019 08:00:40
I would much prefer to be wrong mate.

24 Jul 2019 09:20:46
How does Lamouchi assess the youngsters when he can't be bothered to travel 14 miles to watch the game at Mansfield?

It's not as if he has busy week nights stuck up in Harts hotel!

Whatever you say about MON and RK they watched every single u23 game and from that spotted Yates progression.

Last night Edser and Formah and Mighton looked good. Mansfield played a full first team and we had the kids plus the "exit door" players first half. Played them off the park first half and had a tougher second half.

NorthNottsRed

1.) 24 Jul 2019 10:07:45
He has others that can do that who knows he could be scouting elswhere he knows if he don't deliver he's out.

2.) 24 Jul 2019 13:49:24
Cant see a problem with Lamouchi not going to watch players that he's already assessed. He took a clutch of U23 players with him on pre-season. No point watching an U23 friendly with Mansfield Town when you've already cherry-picked the kids you want for a closer look and the others playing are players you no longer want at the club. What was to be gained by attending the match, that hasn't been gained already?

Lamouchi has already complained about having too many friendlies and not enough time on the training ground with his players. Hopefully, he's been at Hart's hotel preparing for the last few crucial training sessions before the season starts. It's only 10-days away!

3.) 25 Jul 2019 05:26:51
Yates has progressed but if we are serious about getting a min of top six he shouldn’t be in the squad. he ain’t good enough and should be loaned out, same for walker worrall Edser and the others. no point holding onto players that you hope (not think) will be good players.

4.) 25 Jul 2019 09:54:55
The future has to include Academy players BBMON. In today’s World of ffp it is not possible to operate a model of buying success.

Tell me where he has seen them compete against a full strength League 2 side? He has only watched training and taken advice from his already in place staff.

My opinion is he should see for himself. He can’t be that busy as he has 6 staff and is now only head coach, he has others doing transfers etc.

06 Jul 2019 14:14:22
Why do some fans get excited by the signing of a player most have never heard of, from a club they've never heard of, who finished bottom of there league we've never heard of, who nobody else wanted?
I will judge him when I've seen him play. Let's hope he is the player we all hope he is!

NorthNottsRed

1.) 06 Jul 2019 15:30:57
Lol nnr but you are right it's like wanting a BMW for Xmas and you end up with a skoda you after look excited and happy with the gift but deep down your thinking what the f##k plenty more of them on the way.

2.) 06 Jul 2019 17:01:53
A shed load of them . I can see six of them coming in Skegg.

3.) 06 Jul 2019 18:01:02
whats so offensive in getting excited over a new signing? Would you rather fans be miserable?

4.) 06 Jul 2019 18:22:28
Unhappy yes red tree if your happy with foreign players nobody else wants you quite entitled to be happy if you want and I'm entitled to be unhappy simples 🙄🍻.

5.) 06 Jul 2019 20:35:09
Let's wait till the season is in full flow then we can judge the player, but in all honesty I can't see him being any better than what we have, he's free for a reason.

02 Jul 2019 09:12:12
Are Clough and Cummings part of the Spain squad?

NorthNottsRed

1.) 02 Jul 2019 09:41:37
How about this chant for our new manager. sung to the tune of an old Kate Bush number. "Ohhh Ohhh Lamouchi, Lamouchi Lamouchi, yah yah! "
😂😂😂.

2.) 02 Jul 2019 10:34:38
Like it rogie 👍👍👍.

3.) 02 Jul 2019 10:53:24
North Nott's, don't be silly!?
They'd never get into the Spain Squad!
🤣🤣🤣.

28 Jun 2019 13:51:29
Whether MON should have ever been appointed is debatable but one thing is certain. he has been treated disgracefully.
New manager announced 30 minutes after confirmation he had been sacked.

Another low for this once great club.

As bad as Alhasawi era this mornings episode.

NorthNottsRed

1.) 28 Jun 2019 14:01:49
Spot on north notts. Prob means another dead season. Absolutely crazy.

2.) 28 Jun 2019 14:15:13
Some have been giving the Greek there full backing but he is killing us on the pitch. he needs to realise this isnt the Greek league where you can buy dodgy deal your way to the top.

I know you didn’t mention Dawson and Worrall. But the three are a unit. and Watson orchestrates play. He is the brains of the team.
But, I agree at 35 he can’t play every game.

Gazza,
Watson along with Dawson and Worrall have been outstanding!
Last week at Fulham they limited Fulham to two attempts on goal despite 78% possession.

Rooney signing as player coach. Coaching staff wages exempt from FFP.
Derby have an intelligent FD.
Meanwhile we are signing Jenkinson from Arsenal who played a whole 7 games on loan to Brum last year!
