Welcome Albert. let's hope you linking up with Grabban again, fire us up to the Premiership.

Red in Brazil

1.) 10 Jul 2019 11:27:24
Adomah, Lolley, Ameobi, Carvalho, Grabban. Surely one of the biggest attacking threats in the Championship.

2.) 10 Jul 2019 11:33:51
Only one out and out striker in that lot Gazza, still need another prolific goal scorer.

3.) 10 Jul 2019 12:18:33
Tyler Walker is a prolific goal scorer! A finisher like Tyler will get plenty of goals with the supply from those players. Players like that score at any level if they get the right supply.

4.) 10 Jul 2019 15:23:58
I see another OAP has joined us. I thought we were trying to shed them?

5.) 10 Jul 2019 16:27:41
Mate, he has come of the back of a superb season for Villa?
If he gets anywhere near those heights again, I'll be happy enough.

6.) 10 Jul 2019 17:27:35
OAP, bsered? I wouldn't say a 31 year old on a two year deal is an OAP

7.) 10 Jul 2019 17:48:33
Walker prolific? lol. he scored a few in league 2 and he’s now prolific? hea not good enough for this league end of.

8.) 10 Jul 2019 18:50:32
I think we might need a walker if we’re signing OAPs!

9.) 10 Jul 2019 20:55:17
I think we need to sign a few more midfielders first.

10.) 10 Jul 2019 21:45:51
Yep. Another 6 or 7 should do it.

11.) 11 Jul 2019 07:50:39
Britt come from lower league he proved his worth maybe Tyler could do the same, never know this season we might have a midfield that can actually create chances for whoever's upfront.

12.) 11 Jul 2019 09:50:46
He can play as a striker too, did it quite a bit for Villa the other season when Kodija was crooked.

16 Feb 2019 21:53:08
We have been robbed of 6 points this season (Leeds, WBA and Preston) . With 55 points we would be in the pick n mix. When so much money is at stake and manager's jobs. it's not good enough and time for VARS.

Red in Brazil

1.) 17 Feb 2019 09:45:36
I agree VAR is the answer. But I believe a side as in Cricket and Hockey should be limited to two requests each per half

2.) 17 Feb 2019 12:00:06
Totally agree doc m. It works well for tennis also. It's about time football came out of the dark ages!

3.) 17 Feb 2019 14:00:11
No. No limit. Just only use it on game deciding decisions. Only on Sending off, penalty and whether a goal is scored. All three of the 3 shockers would have been reviewed under that rule. Basically decisions that decide games should always be right!

At the same time, you can't start using it every time the whistle blows. But the decisions above should be right every time. Full stop!

4.) 18 Feb 2019 09:14:22
RC, you say whether a goal is scored, i take that to mean has the ball crossed the line, if there is any doubt.

What about when someone wins a free kick and it gets put away, would you want to check if they deserved the free kick.

5.) 18 Feb 2019 11:02:32
We have had our fair share of luck, too. Cash looked like he dived against Wigan to get us that penalty also clumsy darikwa’s airkick on that Derby player should’ve been a pen. But it’s different when it’s Derby tbh cause I hate them. And biggest of all we had a hell of a lot of luck in somehow getting rid of Gil Dias. Hates having possession that guy and loves a head-down run into nowhere.

6.) 18 Feb 2019 11:52:30
Fair share of luck lol,I was at villa-forest,we were lucky as duck to come away with a point from that one

7.) 18 Feb 2019 12:50:28
Biggest piece of luck we've had is AK walking for free.
No compensation to pay.

8.) 18 Feb 2019 13:30:45
Just remembered that villa game Figuereido was wrongly sent off!! Bloody card-happy refs!! Still look at Villa now ahhahahaha what a joke!!

9.) 18 Feb 2019 13:56:02
LC. What I mean is if the ball is in the net, replay it. A replay would show any foul, whether the ball crossed the line, etc. Grabban's goal would have stood.

10.) 18 Feb 2019 15:23:35
I’d say 8 points Red in Brazil if you include the Norwich away game, they equalised after the added time was up.

11.) 18 Feb 2019 19:57:30
TAP I think that the officials get round that by referring to it as the minimum amount of time added on.

For me Worrall no. Watson no.

Red in Brazil

16 Jul 2019 22:03:36
Its obvious our Swede and Portuguese centre-backs are the preference. Does Stevie G still want Worrall. I will drive him there. And Dawson needs to call it a day I'm afraid.

Red in Brazil

1.) 16 Jul 2019 23:36:28
Great assessment Red. Worrall is a league 1 defender at best. His anticipation of the game is zero. Rangers fans didn't rate him at all. Wow, and dyche offered us 10m.

2.) 17 Jul 2019 14:13:14
Get on that blower to Dyche. Snap his hand off at 5m Gazza.

15 Jul 2019 16:14:21
The club hasn't learned anything from the past. to get promotion you need to invest in a lethal partnership up top. Birtles and Woodcock, Colleymore and Roy, Van Hoydonk and Campbell. Admittedly like I said. salaries are a problem but imagine Grabban and Assombalonga! Not some numpty who scored 4 in thirty-odd games.

Red in Brazil

1.) 15 Jul 2019 17:29:47
Didnt realise the transfer window closed today. And have we signed someone or is this just paper talk?

2.) 15 Jul 2019 17:46:18
Who said he signed?

3.) 15 Jul 2019 18:02:59
Then why are you moaning?

4.) 15 Jul 2019 18:40:15
I agree, we need a prolific striker for sure. But you need to spend money and lots of it for that, I'm not sure we have that money to spend.

5.) 15 Jul 2019 18:40:38
Forget assombalonga. He's chose his path and now look at him.
I don't see the hype of past players. They leave for a reason. Get over it. 😉.

6.) 15 Jul 2019 18:55:36
But we don’t play with 2 strikers do we do it wouldn’t be a strike partnership.

7.) 15 Jul 2019 19:01:35
You are denying he's a quality striker who would score at least 15 goals?

8.) 15 Jul 2019 19:07:51
I didn't say that.
He chose to go for more money. His decision.
Why have a player who doesn't want to be where he is?

9.) 15 Jul 2019 19:11:53
15 goals Grabban, 15 goals Assombalonga = the promised land of milk and honey.

10.) 15 Jul 2019 19:18:23
Pulis did not like him for some reason, perhaps he expected more for the £15m that was laid out for the player.

11.) 15 Jul 2019 19:35:28
It won't happen. We will get a cheaper alternative than britt.

12.) 15 Jul 2019 19:45:39
If Pulis expected more then he should've started him more and played him up front instead of occasionally down the wings.

13.) 16 Jul 2019 09:45:25
Pulis has made a career out of ruining strikers by having 10 defenders and starving the man up top of possession in the box!

14 Jul 2019 21:20:08
Use the money from Benny towards Assombalonga. Imagine him and Grabban. Ego springs to mind nevermind wages!

Red in Brazil

1.) 14 Jul 2019 22:06:01
To be honest rib would make a great. Pair up front but some fans would say no because he left to go to another team boo hoo 😁.

2.) 15 Jul 2019 07:19:54
The problem with Britt is he’d be expensive. Looking atleast £10m to buy and he’s rumoured to be on 30k p/ w.

3.) 15 Jul 2019 21:20:37
I think our new head coach will only play one striker in his team selection.

13 Jul 2019 21:43:49
Wish Lolley hadnt scored that! . Can see Villa writing that cheque for 15 million now!

Red in Brazil

1.) 13 Jul 2019 22:49:08
If villa want him he'll be gone full stop.

2.) 13 Jul 2019 23:01:35
I don't think one goal in a meaningless friendly will make them put a big offer in for him. If they do then they were probably going to do so anyway.

3.) 13 Jul 2019 23:15:06
Plus assists for goals etc.

4.) 13 Jul 2019 23:46:48
What you worried about he's only an impact sub for appiah now 🤔🤔😁😁.

5.) 14 Jul 2019 08:10:32
I like it Fff 👋, mind you how good would that make Appiah if that were the case.

6.) 14 Jul 2019 09:23:11
£20m after that goal!

7.) 14 Jul 2019 10:43:52
They already known he's capable of that. We HAVE TO hold on to Lolley if we have any aspirations of top 6.

8.) 14 Jul 2019 12:34:07
Don’t think so Gaza we have ameobi and Adomah to replace him if he were to leave.
