With MGW getting booked last night, will he be unavailable for Sunday.

Not sure but I noticed MGW has added a dangerous back heel pass to his fancy flick and turn. I’d lay money it creates more chances for the opposition than it does he us. Looks great but I wish he was a bit more aware of his position and his team mates positionon the pitch when he uses these flicks and back heels.

Got a good view of him doing the back heal, only works if he’s sure a team mate is behind him. If not it’s a forward pass for a quick opponent to latch onto. I think we should sell awongi, the only real chance he had last night and he puts the ball into touch, I know his goals saved us before but let’s bring in a goal hungry striker that can play off wood and split the defences.

Not sure what to say about today, great result and a never say die attitude from the team. But did they leave it late, villa were there for the taking and someone said yesterday that the villa defence was suspect, Spot on. I thought Ipswich were a better side than villa but forest didn't go for them, but we dug in and deserved the win. Who would have thought 9 points from a really tough run of games. I can see us getting something from Brentford and spurs,. COYRds.

I'm not sure what dyche ball is, but if it exists it worked against Liverpool spurs and to a certain extent against Arsenal. So is it really that bad. Just wondering.

I think MGW was our weakest link on Saturday. Granted jesus wasn't far behind but the lad covered acres of ground but no end result, humping high balls into the box isn't the answer for him. He needs a wood type of player who he can feed off or dyche has to change tactics and do what Sunderland did at the weekend and cross the ball in along the ground, they did that for one of their goals, it caught the oppositions defence flat footed.

We can't just right players off the coaches have to have a plan B and adapt accordingly.

Forest should offload MGW, he's not the same since pep got into his head before the cup semi final, then we had the spurs fiasco. I'm afraid it was too much for the lad, I know he's got killer pass in him and I would love him to play simple football instead of the tippy tappy rubbish he's always trying, it's not fair on his team mates seeing a break develop only for him to loose the ball and turn attack into defence.

You're not loosing it Bowie I know just how you feel, I was over in Scunthorpe a while ago and passed the steel works. My wife wondered why I pulled up outside so I told her that back in the early seventies I was working as a plater welder at a big engineering workshop in lowdham, we built most of that steel works.

quite strange looking at something that I had a hand in still standing. mind you probably be the death of me after all that asbestos we inhaled, but still good to see it.
