Recruitment team has had a shocker. No way on earth we have spent £200 million. How? Where? Also, half the players aren't fit. We've come a long way and Ill always appreciate that. But things have fallen off a cliff.
Players are unfit. 40 million winger not in the squad. £200 million wasted and we have youngsters on the bench. Someone at Forest has some serious questions to answer.

They've got to sort that wing back position out in Jan. We can't keep on with how it is currently. Its an absolute mess. I'd rather have kept Toffolo as at least he was solid. We're so vulnerable down whichever wing Nico Williams isn't playing.

I have to say whoever proposed the recruitment strategy this year has got it badly wrong which is a shame as they've excelled last two seasons. We've effectively been left with Nico Williams to cover both LB/ RB sides and that's it. Dyche is known for building defensive stability but even he's got his work cut out with that one. We are overstocked everywhere else when everyone knew the priority were those wingback positions.
The recruitment and the general strategy from about late last season has been so so poor. Nuno guided us to out best every finish and we had a clear identity under him. If he wants Traore, then give him what he wants and let him get on with it. We've also somehow spent £180m and i'd argue probably only 1 player has actually raised the floor and ceiling of this team. I would have rather kept Elanga.

Im a bit worried. You can't go from Nunos defensive style to Anges without a lot of disruption and confusion. Add in the strains of European football as well and I think we're seriously looking at 15th/ 16th. That'll be okay if we win something but we basically overachieved last year and its unlikely. Ndoye has to be on the left, it doesn't work with him on the right. I imagine Douglas Luiz isn't playing as they have to buy him after 15 matches and are reserving those games until he's fit and they need his presence in midfield. I hate to be negative but I actually think we'll lose to Swansea which will set the hairs running but this season is going to be chaotic at best. Wish it was a more positive post but it looks like Mr Marinakis is going all out for a trophy and that means sacrificing our league form. Forest vs Burnley has 0-0 written all over it.

I'd like to agree with you Munmad but this one is on us. We don't learn from our mistakes and we start every game on minus one.

I thought the exact same formation Munmad and personnel. I hope the players know what at stake tonight and act accordingly. I. e. desire, hard work and no individual errors.
