The Telegraph are saying we have agreed terms for Sosa and that another centre forward is on the radar. That for me would cap off a great transfer window. Cannot wait until Saturday.
1.) 13 Aug 2024 16:38:46
Providing we can keep hold of Danilo.
2.) 15 Aug 2024 11:37:38
Thats not what RHR thinks.
3.) 15 Aug 2024 18:55:47
Well we really need another centre forward but depends who he is.
08 Jul 2019 07:15:42
I am actually hopeful that we are at last adding qualities to a squad that were sadly lacking in parts last year. Just need to add a striker and ship out some of the journey men.
1.) 08 Jul 2019 10:16:53
Beware Greeks bearing Portuguese horses.
2.) 08 Jul 2019 14:09:14
Time will tell Tyke. We are signing players nobody as ever heard of but as soon as a name is mentioned everybody is an expert. As for shipping out some journey men about 25 should do it. ðŸ‘.
3.) 08 Jul 2019 17:56:32
I mean I had heard of all of our new signings, always been a fan of ameobi, semedo has always performed well and ribiero and silva have always seemed pretty solid to me.
4.) 08 Jul 2019 19:14:59
And how do you work that out red they've only played a few games between them over the last season they struggle to make the first team as they go out on loan its another massive gamble let's hope we don't get stuck at the wrong end of the table and still we are short of fire power.
5.) 08 Jul 2019 22:10:41
Hi skegs I don't normally come on here but I've got my reservations about new signings. Hope I'm proved wrong but why all the Portuguese, was that o'Neill's nail in the coffin as maybe they were always lined up and he said no way, he was reluctant to play j. c for a bit so heirachcy said take it or leave it? Player revolt we'll never know the true story but that's history now. Nottinghambenfic forest football club springs to mind. As I said hopefully they'll be alright so bring on next season and hope it's a good one. Anyway fellow reds I'm finishing my j. d and coke before bed. I'll be there regardless every game. Cheers all.
6.) 09 Jul 2019 10:49:33
Never look a Portuguese player in the mouth, while riding Greek gift horses. or something like that lol.
28 Jan 2017 20:02:47
I think there are too many detractors of young Nigel's managerial career. He has proved very adept at managing clubs and taking them forward on little to no budget. Given the right environment he will do very well at Forest.
1.) 28 Jan 2017 20:25:33
Previous records are no indication of how things will turn out in the next job. The Dutchman that Mourinio has replaced proves that.
2.) 28 Jan 2017 21:27:09
No matter who the next manager is their biggest problem is going to be fawaz, I hope it is clough not for his history with the club but the fact his teams are hard to beat and he gets 100% out of his players but given our situation I wouldn't come unless he has it in writing unless fawaz comes through for once.
3.) 28 Jan 2017 23:33:02
Deadeye you are quite correct. Until the poison has been removed from our once great club it is immaterial which manager eventually takes over the reins. If Clough has any sense he will see through Fawaz's Bull and stay at Burton.
4.) 29 Jan 2017 12:02:05
Deep down Nigel knows he has taken Burton as far as he can, that is the only reason I can see him coming to Forest. Personally if I was him I would stay at Burton. He will never get anywhere near to what his dad achieved.

We have not had a regular proven goal scorer since Grabbon. Chris Woods did a truly great job for us last season but it's madness to think we will get a full season from him. As for Awonyi I really have zero expectations. He obviously wants a move. The question is where do we go for a goal scorer? Where do you get a Haaland from these days?
1.) 27 Jul 2024 17:44:02
Where doomed again before a balls kicked ?
Grabbon was championship and took penalties.
2.) 27 Jul 2024 18:27:40
We need another striker but we I doubt we’re going to find a find.
Best thing for us is we have 5 or 6 players weighing in with 8+ goals, players in various positions. Every team wants. 20+ goal scorer, if we found one he’d be with us a season then sold for a big sum. It’s not Helpful really.
3.) 27 Jul 2024 18:42:13
Give young dale taylor a run out. Bless him. Just in the squad. Every determined player needs hope.
4.) 27 Jul 2024 18:43:07
DTP where's you Man Awonyi?
Lord Lucan has made more appearances! ???.
5.) 27 Jul 2024 19:22:33
Cameron Archer.
6.) 27 Jul 2024 20:41:54
If you ever want to be depressed about forest then come on here. Blimey, your outrageous in the comments you come out with. Strikers cost a fortune and we aren't in the league of buying 60 and 80 million pound duds like Chelsea.
Get real. We have two strikers that can score in the premier league and proved it and at a very low cost. Two wingers in elanga and Hudson that score and provide assists at a very low cost. Just enjoy and stop morning. The club is moving forward.
7.) 27 Jul 2024 20:45:08
Cameron archer?
Come on mate.
8.) 28 Jul 2024 09:10:27
Well said DTP!
9.) 28 Jul 2024 11:06:36
Woods can Score but Awonyi Need's to play games before he can score.
10.) 28 Jul 2024 11:10:45
Wood's can get goals.
When was the last time Balsa man scored for Forest?
He's more elusive than Prince Andrew at the Moment?
You say low cost but Awonyi is stealing a living when he's not playing but miraculously he's ok to play in AFCON?
Hmmmmm. ?.
11.) 28 Jul 2024 11:48:17
Awoniyi didn't play in the AFCON this year, Trump.
12.) 28 Jul 2024 11:56:52
I’m on that page dtp, unless we find a vardy type gem we’re better off doing what we’re doing - creating a team where the goals can come from multiple players.
Even if we found a carry we’d keep him for a season, 2 maximum.
13.) 28 Jul 2024 21:59:06
Mr fart Wood scored double figures to keep us up, bit then I doubt you would know that
Afcon has chamg3d and will no longer effect clubs, but I doubt you would know that either
The goals that awoniyi and wood scored over the past two seasons have kept us in the premier league, but I doubt youd know that either
Your just one of life's depressing people
Enjoy.
17 Jul 2024 15:52:09
Don't like the messages around Awonyi missing training and then not going on the pre-season trip. Looks to me like he has already decided that he's off. To be honest the game time we have had out of him makes him a liability, another fragile hulk!
1.) 17 Jul 2024 18:10:45
Good riddance.
Pack his bags and ship him off.
Waste of time and money.
2.) 17 Jul 2024 19:45:43
Unfortunately some don't understand what best for the club Trump. Like lemmings marching down trent side to watch anything that's shoved in front of them. All we've done is struggle and escape relegation by the skin of our teeth so far. If we had Rudolf Nureyev up front they would be happy ? ?.
3.) 17 Jul 2024 21:23:29
He's a bit pi$$ed off the West Ham bid was rejected.
4.) 17 Jul 2024 23:15:25
Us lemmings have been doing it through thick and thin for 58 years balloons, seen it all
That's what true supporters do
We support the club and turn up in good times and bad times, it's in our blood, we don't just turn up when we are winning things, we are there no matter what
It's been a roller coaster of ups and downs in those 58 years, but it's been worth every penny
The club is on the up once more, but some who say they are fans just want to put the club, the owner, the players and the coach down
WHY?
5.) 17 Jul 2024 23:58:12
And now the fans down by calling them lemmings
Really?
I'll let you have my ticket for a match on only one condition. you stand on trent bridge and call the fans lemmings and tell them to stop paying to watch us.
That would make my day.
6.) 18 Jul 2024 05:54:27
DTP most fan's believe Awonyi should be replaced.
Just because a small minority on here agree with your views there's a place beyond this media void called the real world ???.
7.) 18 Jul 2024 08:17:41
LOL trump, do you really believe that this site represents what true feelings is of the lemmings that turn up at matches?
That's the real world trump, not 50 odd people on a banter site.
04 Jun 2024 20:22:03
Just read that Man City are taking legal action against the Premier League due to not being treated fairly over financial rules! God give me strength but the world has officially gone mad!
1.) 04 Jun 2024 21:09:52
My heart bleeds!
2.) 04 Jun 2024 21:18:36
See where it gets them
Sounds like they know they are guilty and sending out a threat
Opens a free for all if they do
To me it has similarities to bosman case
There the players were saying it was a restriction on their part
Now we have restriction on the clubs, should the clubs not be allowed to run themselves without restrictions?
It's a tough one
To me no inflation of wage rises has been taken into account for far to long, the losses allowed are to low now
Covid had an im0act to, bit in the championship particularly its still just 13 million loss or 39 million over three years, that's not possible.
3.) 04 Jun 2024 22:57:45
This demands a quote from Shakespeare which I'm sure Stokey will appreciate - "Me thinks thou doth protest too much". They've decided that the best form of defence is to attack.
4.) 05 Jun 2024 11:45:14
Over the last few years they have laughed at everyone else in this country and made a mockery of this great game yes won many trophies and titles, the player's have won that for them but behind the scenes the people who run the club have stretched the rules to help them achieve this so they should be punished has a club and if it means going down plus our of Europe then give em HELL.
5.) 05 Jun 2024 12:45:20
This is potentially dangerous to the Premier League. It could end up a financial free for all. No rules or restrictions.
6.) 05 Jun 2024 15:33:19
Legless, I suggest Shylock from the Merchant of Venice “ The pound of flesh I demand is dearly bought. ‘tis mine and I will have it”!
Of course, the Jew is fiddled out of it by a Venetian lawyer ( actually the victims lover in disguise) at the end on the day on the grounds that the taking of a pound of flesh in settlement of the debt will result in his death hence the loss of the whole body…….
So that’s how the best lawyers work and I have no doubt that Manchester City will win in the end my friend ……….
7.) 05 Jun 2024 20:19:58
Only Shakespeare I know is my mate Dave, rather watch paint dry.
8.) 05 Jun 2024 22:07:54
Does your mate help you put the flat packs together? That's probably why.
9.) 05 Jun 2024 22:46:54
Skeggs you can't understand has and as, so don't go the route of thinking your clever
Flat packs would puddle your brain along with the Stella that's already done that
Stick to bog seat fitting in butlins and being allowed to use the phone none stop.
21 May 2024 13:11:33
That's eight players gone including Montiel. Starting to clear the decks, Aina contract extended which is good news. More to leave hopefully. Need to be ruthless this time around.
20 May 2024 14:31:49
Another season done, will not miss the 4 hour round trip on match days and the traffic on the A1! But I'm hopeful for next season on the basis that common sense is given a chance and we massively trim this bloated squad. Too many names that have never been any where good enough, or fit enough or with the desire that is required. I'll put up with a lack of skill at times but I don't like people who don't have enthusiasm. Sangare is top of that list. As for fitness we should offload Awonyi, 10 games a season is a joke! Some have not even come close to 10 games! We need some natural finishers, don't care where we recruit from as long as the potential is there and importantly the attitude. Sels has done OK but the rest can go from goalkeeping ranks, just no where near good enough. If we can keep Murillo and MGW then some firepower up front is our main area that needs sorting. Chris Woods has done a manful job but I see him as a sub and back up to our main strike force. Already looking forward to next season, by that stage they should have finished some of the A1 bridge repairs?
1.) 20 May 2024 16:36:43
Doubt glass legs Awoniyi will be here next season.
Rumours are he wants out and have you witnessed his last 3 cameo appearances? He's looked totally uninterested and has barely broke sweat.
2.) 20 May 2024 20:03:39
It's looking like Nuno might not be here as well according to Romano
Italian news says we are after De Zebri now he's left Brighton
Sounds a tall order to get him to me though.
3.) 20 May 2024 22:22:19
According to the press Tottenham are going to be the new forest and take most of our best players ?? by the end of the summer according to the press we will have lost our best players and end up with 12 top managers to run a team with no players and no ambition get a grip ?.
17 Feb 2024 20:23:50
He has done really well picking the ball out of the net, otherwise completely invisible and the worst keeper we’ve ever had!
29 Jan 2020 14:19:06
Red Red doesn’t think Tiago Silva has adapted to the championship? Makes me laugh!
04 Jan 2020 21:17:11
Bostock will be no loss whatsoever! A complete waste of space.
30 Dec 2019 18:38:50
RedCyclist. I said he could only “rely†on a small squad, there are far too may he cannot rely on!
30 Dec 2019 06:48:18
Too much bloody gloom and despair! Yes we got a lucky 3 points yesterday, but for those of us at KCOM on Thursday we saw a really energetic Forest beat Hull convincingly. Don’t underestimate what that took out of the squad! I believe SL knows that he can only rely on a relatively small squad and there needs to be more moving out of the dross this January and reinvestment in a small number of quality additions. Hefele, Benaloune, Carvalho, Mir, Muric must go!
20 May 2024 15:36:58
Awonyi should be given an ultimatum get fit or go find another club! He is a liability for the number of games he plays. Sangare needs to decide he wants to represent Forest professionally or not, if the latter he needs to go as well.
20 Feb 2024 13:30:34
Absolutely spot on. Murillo seemed to play with more assuredly with Felipe by his side. Closing down players quickly in midfield also a big change on Saturday, something Nuno was highlighting after the game.
20 Feb 2024 07:54:37
Don’t agree about Sels being a flapper, thought he was calm and did everything well on Saturday. Didn’t flap about over distribution, generally got rid when he had to and found a Forest player when he had time.
31 Jan 2024 06:56:19
Totally agree, probably the weakest keepers who have pulled on a Forest shirt in my experience of watching Forest and that goes back to 1978. I think we would have been 10 points better off with a class keeper. Has to be number one priority to bring in a good keeper, don’t care if he is young, just someone who can stop the basic errors!
03 Jan 2024 21:52:09
Nice to write such a criticism when it’s not your own money!
