Tottenhams eighteen year old Jack Clark has only featured for Leeds in a couple of cup games, Tottenham therefore are thinking of recalling him in January, there is said to be a couple of Championship clubs to have shown a interest, it is thought Forest are one of them, i can not see who in our team that he is better than.

My view is that Anigo etc. will be looking to the Continent and further afield for new signings, not here in Britain. Look at what has already been done with Samba, Sow, Semedo, Ribeiro, Chema, Silva. The target must be another striker not another midfielder, otherwise we are risking post-Christmas with only Grabbs. We must also be careful in that we only have a certain number of loan players we can field at any one time.

2.) 12 Nov 2019 21:37:23
An 18 year old is not going to get us promotion!

3.) 13 Nov 2019 12:16:40
We could do with another wide player as well as another centre forward.

Clarke looked a real prospect last season and I'd be happy to see him come in on loan. Although, I agree we may be looking further afield for new signings with Anigo in charge of recruitment.

4.) 13 Nov 2019 12:17:03
No thanks! Not going to get anywhere near our first team.

The Scottish Sun reported that Forest in England scouted Lawrence Shankland on Friday and are thinking of tabling a £2m bid for him. He has scored 17 goals this season and made some assists.

Walking The Walk

1.) 10 Nov 2019 13:26:40
A Scottish Championship striker is hardly going to fire us to promotion? Sooner go shopping in the first division of the better European Leagues?

2.) 10 Nov 2019 14:00:47
That is equivalent of saying if a player comes from Brazil he must be a good player, if a player can run a hundred meters in around ten seconds he can he will run through any defence. I do however think £2m is not enough when McGinn cost more than that.

3.) 10 Nov 2019 21:29:27
Sometimes a punt comes off any striker that hits the net regular should not be dismissed, its all down to the price and the gamble taken.

4.) 11 Nov 2019 08:48:26
Remember Cummings our last Scottish striker.

5.) 11 Nov 2019 09:30:15
With a name like Cummings he is always going to be shattered, nothing like if one is bad they must be eh.

6.) 11 Nov 2019 16:31:06
Just recycled lazy journo hype.

7.) 12 Nov 2019 21:43:29
Never know shankland may be a decent signing sounds like he knows where the back of the net is, but walker as proved he knows where the back of the net is and walker as done it in our leagues all be it lower leagues cummings biggest problem was his mental attitude and thinking he was better than he probably is.

Gayle is open to go to a foreign club so says a report, i would have thought there would be enough English clubs willing to take a risk on him.

Walking The Walk

1.) 14 Nov 2019 15:14:57
He will end his career earning megabucks in China.

2.) 14 Nov 2019 15:15:22
Good that means we won’t come up against him after January and none of our rivals will have is goals to help them all in all happy days.

3.) 14 Nov 2019 16:30:34
You’re right there skeggy- I’m sure he would be a big impact on the league in January if he did sign for someone, we all know that we need to sign a striker as either cover for injuries or to help LG and we should be able to attract a better quality striker but maybe the question now is who could we sign and would it upset our style of play and the team attitude/ work ethic which has been fantastic.

4.) 14 Nov 2019 19:02:48
Too expensive by the looks of it.

5.) 14 Nov 2019 22:08:16
Anyone can earn big bucks in China as a footballer, who says communism doesn't work? 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

12 Nov 2019 15:31:20
One thing is almost certain, while Ian Wright is in I'm Celebrity it will be entertaining to watch.

Walking The Walk

1.) 12 Nov 2019 17:15:36
They ought to take Kenny !
CARLLO

2.) 12 Nov 2019 18:22:19
Can you just imagine The Legend That was Brian Clough going on it?
Now THAT WOULD be special!

3.) 13 Nov 2019 10:00:56
I'm not saying he'd win it but he'd certainly be in the top one!

4.) 13 Nov 2019 12:20:37
I'm A Celebrity. is never entertaining to watch. I'd rather comb my eyes with a razor blade thank you.

5.) 13 Nov 2019 12:46:02
Lol - my sentiments exactly - dreadful programme.

6.) 13 Nov 2019 21:49:34
Is that how you got a wonky eye?

12 Nov 2019 09:24:09
The BBC has a gossip column and it has said Man City have £100 to spend in the January Window. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Walking The Walk

1.) 12 Nov 2019 11:19:08
They can afford muric then.

2.) 12 Nov 2019 16:24:12
My missus will spend much more than that 🤣💰.

3.) 12 Nov 2019 20:37:35
Walking the bar is set very high in the prem to be honest that's about the going rate maguire cost man u 80 mill just shows if we get to the promised land owner will need to pay out plenty money.

4.) 12 Nov 2019 21:36:50
Apps not a £100m, but a £100 pounds, off course a typing error, but i found it funny.

5.) 12 Nov 2019 22:24:40
So did i.

6.) 12 Nov 2019 22:37:32
Doh! 🙈🙈.

11 Nov 2019 20:36:08
Warnock has left Cardiff by mutual consent. Will he now retire?

Walking The Walk

1.) 11 Nov 2019 21:11:38
I try and find positives in things, but I find it very difficult with Warnock. His snidey, backstabbing remarks with that smile on his face will not be missed by me. Really hope he doesn’t become a pundit and just retires.

2.) 12 Nov 2019 00:17:52
I know we are all happy with Sabri at the moment but there have been several times in the past when Warnock should have been our number one target.
He always brought the best out of the resourses he had.
Very good manager imo. A bit eccentric but still respect from me.

3.) 12 Nov 2019 06:36:10
Same here, always thought he was a very good manager. even though he looks the very first "Joker"
😂😂😂.

4.) 12 Nov 2019 10:34:13
Yeah, I think he is a Marmite guy but personally I really liked him, wears his heart on his sleeve, not afraid to speak his mind and a good sense of humour. Always know your in for a tough match against one of his teams.

Good luck to him whatever he's up to.

5.) 12 Nov 2019 10:50:22
Ginger i’ll Be the other side of the marmite, dispised this blokes ugly cynical football, hated his constant whinging and moaning, hated his touchline antics, was always found wanting at top level, glad this bloke never sullied our club, good riddance, but on human level wish him a long and happy retirement,

6.) 12 Nov 2019 12:05:47
Can’t stand the bloke rather have dougie freedman in charge.

7.) 12 Nov 2019 12:29:05
Skegsjay that is one of the few jokes of yours that is not funny. A nice bloke who has faided to get CP promoted, and failed with us all be it in very hard times, or a blunt bloke which has gotten nine or so teams promoted is a no brainer if you want success.

8.) 12 Nov 2019 14:29:07
Wtw its not a joke and to be honest i don't care wether people laugh agree disagree i dislike both men never forgiven warnock for the smug grin he had on his face when he was manager of blades that beat us 4-3 in play offs and df was just a waste of time here parking is bus on our goal line.

9.) 12 Nov 2019 14:53:18
Skegsjay if i was a manager of a club that were the underdogs going into a massive game and my team won it four three i would have a smug grin. I'm not a huge fan of df but even though he could have turned down the job, when he took over it was at a time when as a club Forest were scraping the barrel for players to bring in.

10.) 12 Nov 2019 21:22:58
There you go, marmite:)

He did know how to get a team promoted that's for sure, like him or hate him.

As for Freedman, 13 game unbeaten with us under embargo, one hand tied behind his back, mid table finish when people feared the worst, fair play. Surprised if he's not on the New Years honours list!

10 Nov 2019 18:50:41
Dion Dublin thinks Tyler Walker will play at a high level, that would be great if he does that with Forest.

Walking The Walk

1.) 10 Nov 2019 19:27:17
Did he slip that in during an episode of homes under the hammer?

2.) 10 Nov 2019 19:37:42
Liking your comment RF, but i hope he comes home in January and proves DD right.

3.) 10 Nov 2019 19:46:51
Well so far we have a team built around cash worrall and Yeats so why not add Walker?

4.) 10 Nov 2019 19:48:57
Aye up red fred hope you got home alright to burton with all those sheep tears on the A52 😁😁.

5.) 10 Nov 2019 20:59:03
Caught the train Ff. I knew the road back would likely be flooded 😂.

6.) 10 Nov 2019 21:23:51
👍👍🚣‍♂️🚣‍♂️.

Sgetty temporary could mean a couple of months which effectively is a waste of time, if we really rated him it would not be temporary.

N2 Have you not learned the routine yet? New manager takes charge 1, inconsistent form 2 Not in the top six middle of December 3, Manager sack shortly after 4.

SSWE i think over half of fans think along the same lines as yourself but the club under our present owner does not work that way, and off course should we get to the Premier league then relegated the odds are Premier league teams would most likely but our better players.

Bbm by giving him a year or two's contract we should get extra money for him should we get to the Premier league, if we stay in the Championship then we have a strong Championship player.
